Women Are Unreasonable

"How is that possible?" Serina was in disbelief.

"We went out for only a few minutes, so I asked him if he was still my uncle. He denied it, and then he told me Cherry wanted him to go back early. Then he left."

Ernest reported in detail.

"Well, let's go out for dinner." Serina patted Ernest on the shoulder.

They found a restaurant, a slightly hidden one, and asked for a private room.

Ernest knew that Serina must not have eaten well in the hospital these days. He ordered a full table of dishes for her, all of her likes.

However, in the face of the temptation of delicious food, Serina ate little and kept muttering, "Why wouldn't he ask?"

Serina asked again, "How couldn't he ask?"

"Fifteen times!" Ernest said as he ate.

"What fifteen times?" Serina looked at Ernest.

"You've already asked this fifteen times. What are you trying to do?" Ernest gave Serina a sideways glance.

"Derek has changed," Serina said as she put down her chopsticks.

"I felt that," Ernest replied.
