Critical Moment

Simon looked at his younger brother and felt helpless. He let out a deep breath and softened his tone.

"Roger, it will take a while for the drug on you to dilute. You will be fine after a few days of rest. I'm busy. I have to go."

However, Roger held his hand and didn't let him go. "Simon, I have very important things to do now. I have to stand up."

"Roger, if you have something to do, I will ask someone to help you. But you can't mess around, OK?"

"I'm not messing around. Simon, you are only busy with your own matters. Are you very impatient with me?" Roger willfully accused.

Only in front of Simon would he be so indulgent and not restrain his emotions.

Simon didn't know what to do. He patiently tried to persuade him. "Roger, if I were impatient, I wouldn't have come to you. Be good, I'm really busy and can't accompany you. If you feel bored, I'll have someone bring a computer over, or you can paint."
