Meals or Nothing

Dave suddenly realized that someone was inciting the fans to gather. It was a plot.

"They offer meals, but no money," Dave said.

He began to make it up to make the man talk. Dave wanted to know about it.

As a result, the man knew nothing. He said that someone was recruiting figurants when he was selling watermelons on the road. The man was told that he could bring his family with him and get paid a hundred per day.

Before the man started working, the employer could transfer half of his salary into his account.

"It is so hot these days. Working for a meal is not a good deal. A figurant is paid 50 a day," the man said.

The man looked at Dave with sympathy.

The man had taken Dave as his friend, so his attitude softened a lot.

Looking around, Dave found everyone looking like a figurant, who got paid a hundred per day.

Especially those middle-aged men and women. They must have had grandchildren. Dave found them a little weird to be real fans.
