Simple and Cruelty

The setting sun cast a shadow on the floor through the glass window, and the horizon was dyed a fiery red color. The heat gradually faded.

Edie pulled Hazel and continuously talked for a few hours, during which Edie drank two bottles of mineral water. She was a little hungry now.

The fate between people was always so wonderful.

Identity, status, and looks were not important. Fate would connect the two unrelated people and thus start a lifetime of friendship.

Hazel felt warm. She had thought that a rich woman like Edie just wanted to play with her, and the gap between them was too big.

"Hazel, It's getting dark. I wonder if Baron has finished his work."

Edie smiled and looked beautiful.

Edie grew up with Baron, the people in their small circle would unconsciously take Baron as the center.

"I don't know."

Hazel shook her head and subconsciously glanced at her phone. There was little battery left, but it was enough to give a call to Baron.
