Mr. Davis

Clara squirmed uncomfortably on the worn out couch, the color was light khaki made of linen fabric she bought five years ago at garage sale. Her left cheek was still sore after her punishment last day, she tried to sit more on her right butt.

She blushed when she remembered the humiliation and pleasure she received under his torture. She even slept on her stomach to ease the pain.

The monster who did this had the audacity to smile knowingly while he stare down at her, both hands crossed on his chest, surely didn't want to place his high maintenance ass on the cheap couch.

Then the door opened, Mr. Davis sat on his wheel chair with Lucas pushing him. Xander had used her apartment key in her bag to let themselves in. Her father had just finished their morning walk, Lucas always took him out in the morning to bask under the sun. Her dingy aparment didn't get much sun light.

Her eyes welled at the sight of her dad.

"Daddy, I miss you." Clara got up and hug her father.

"Oh, Clara.. I miss you too, sweet pea."

Mr. Davis looked at her beautiful daughter, "You enjoy the holiday?"

Then to Xander, "Thank you Xander, for taking my daughter on vacation. God know she really needed some time away from her hard work."

"Dad! You knew him?"

Clara looked confused at them both.

"It's a long story." Xander said.

"No, not that long. We met on January when Mr. Johnson was kind enough to accompany me downstairs, playing ping pong. Then this kind young man said he recognized me as your father. I knew you had your differences back then and I'm glad now the two of you are dating." Her father winked at Clara.

Dating? Met on January?

She glared at Xander, "You better explain it to me later."

"Dad, how is your leg? I'm sorry I couldn't call you during my holiday."

"I'm strong as a bull, Clara. Lucas did a great job to accompany me this whole time. Now that my daughter is here, you don't need to be here anymore. Thank you, Lucas."

Lucas looked at his employer for the answer.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Davis. Clara stay with me." Xander offered a forced smile.

"B-but Xander, please let me take care of my dad." Clara held his father's hand.

They were still warm like when she held them when she was a little kid, even though he was a cold man back then but he would always hold Clara's small hand when the three of them went to amusement park.

Xander just watched her with no compromise look.

"It's ok, Clara. I can understand if your boyfriend didn't want to let you go." Mr. Davis patted her hand.

"Excuse me sir, let me speak frankly. I want to offer you a better apartment, it is close to my company and it would be more convenient to Lucas if I needed him."

Clara looked around her little shabby apartment, it only had two rooms, one bathroom, tiny kitchen and barely there living room. The furnitures were of cheap materials but they functioned well. The wallpaper were ripped at some places, she couldn't afford to fix them.

It was a far cry from the mansion she'd lived this whole time.

Mr. Davis looked at her as if Clara should be the one to answer.

What if she refused? She didn't want to take anything from Xander, even if he was the one who made the offer.

She didn't want to feel like a whore. A whore that used her body to get the convenient she needed.

But what if she refused? Will Xander punished her again?

"Don't reject it, Clara. Think about the comfortable life your father could spend in that new apartment. Your father will enjoy it there. I chose the apartment where there will be more elders, it had swimming pool, mini golf area on rooftop, and luxury lounge he could used to chat with his new friend." Xander explained.

Clara knew better than to reject his offer, she nodded her head.

She realized her father's face lit up, she couldn't burden him with her stories. That she was kidnapped by this so called kind young man like Mr. Davis thought.

Then, Clara made up stories about her vacation because her dad was dying to know. Lucas promised to packed her dad's things to the new apartment, not that he had much to bring.

"W-what about my belongings?"

"Lucas will pack them too."

Clara realized that if Xander had visited her apartment several times, then he must had looked into her bedroom. Her face reddened, it was a small tidy bedroom.

Her single mattress was on the floor, most of her things were inside the wardrobe, her most used bags hanging behind the door. There were really nothing important inside.

When it was finally time to depart, Clara hugged her dad tightly.

"Be happy, Clara because I'm happy for you, sweet pea." Mr. Davis whispered.

She nearly cried on her father's lap. Then she convinced her father that she was the happiest person in the world. Clara took last glance at her father before going out of that little apartment, maybe it was the last time she would be here.

Mr. Davis smiled at her daughter. "Love you."

They were seated inside his black ferrari when Clara finally asked for his explanation. She hitted him on the shoulder.

"You stalker! All this time, you had infiltrated my apartment under my nose."

"Calm down, Clara. It was necessary to get his good graces." Xander chuckled.

"You are impossible!" Clara turned her head to look at the glass window.

"Does this mean I'm not your prisoner anymore? I could visit my father anytime I want? Now that he saw you with me."

Xander rubbed her thigh, "You are still my prisoner, just with a few exceptions to get you more docile. If you want to visit your dad, you'll ask my permission first, sweet pea."

Clara blushed when he used the nickname her father gave her.

"Fine, whatever you wish, Your Majesty."

Xander placed his hand there during their way back home, two black cars were in front and behind theirs. It was the first time they went out after the accident, Xander didn't want to risk anything happened to his beautiful prisoner again so he made his guards armed escort them.

As usual it was a long ride to the mansion, when they arrived at the mansion, Xander walked ahead of her with a phone on his ear.

Clara saw Noah passed by from somewhere, heading to the office. Clara halted him.

"Noah, ehhmm.. Can I talk to you for a moment?"

Noah looked at Xander, but his employer had walked inside the living room.

"W-what is it you want to talk about, Clara?"

Her face reddened, "About that time when you walked inside and…"

Clara glanced at him and she could saw Noah's face was red too.

"Are you mad at me? You're avoiding me."

"What? No, Clara. I just.. I thought you might be feeling awkward after that… You know. But I'm not mad at you. It was my fault to interrupt." Xander explained.

Clara exhaled gladly, "Then, we are still friends, right?"

"Right." Came the delayed answer. He watched Clara with such longings.

"You know, my sister will be here in two more days. Xander let her lived here for a while, I hope you two could be friends, Clara. She is a cheerful girl, sometimes she can be naughty and hard to handle. But she is kind."

"Oh, I can't wait to meet her from the first time you mentioned about your little sister, Noah."

At that time, Clara thought she would be six feet under ground before she could met his sister. She was humming as she ascended the stairs to her bedroom.

Finally she could have a female friend to accompany her here.
