Kidnapping of Norah

"So, how's the preparation for moving back, munchkin?"

Norah had just walked out of her dorm room pulling her small blue suitcase, she was heading to residential service desk to return the key when her brother called.

"All is going well, Gabby had help me a lot these past few days." Norah answered.

"Ok then, just call me when all is done and I'll come to pick you up. I can't wait to see my little sister."

"Oh, stop it Noah. I'm not a little girl anymore." Norah blushed. "You can pick me up in two more days, ok? Bye."

"Bye, mini me."

Her brother really should stop treating her as a child, that was why Norah planned to surprise her only brother. She giggled mischievously, Noah could die from heart attack if he saw her arriving at the doorstep, he never even let Norah went to the supermarket alone. There would always be a guard to accompanied her.

Norah knew that her brother was currently resided in summer mansion, it was the mansion Xander bought seven years ago. She knew a little story about it, what she heard was the owner's wife had died from terminal illness then he bankrupted from excessive gamblings and drinking. She never visited that mansion although Xander was never absent from spending his summer holiday there.

"I want to return the key of room D212, miss."

Norah slid the key on the reception desk, the staff was on her phone talking with both legs on the desk, eating potato chips. Norah rolled her eyes when the woman signalled for her to wait a minute.

"Ok, girl. You are not waiting until the graduation ceremony?" She finished her call, and opened the drawer to retrieve a white sheet.

"Apparently not, miss. But I will be here for the ceremony."

"Eager to see your parents then. Here, just sign this and you are good to go." She offered a pen.

Norah signed her name and said thank you to the staff. It was all so surreal, she remembered the first time she signed a key agreement in this same room three years ago. She thought her brother had dumped her and got rid of her little snotty ass, she cried and screamed all the way here. She didn't want to leave her brother and the comfort of their home.

But being here had opened her eyes, that there were good and kind people in this world. She made friends and met loving teachers. She didn't regret it a bit because now she had blossomed to a woman. Ready for the next chapter of her life. Chapters full of happiness, laughter and romance, she hoped.

Norah had called for an online taxi and waiting in front of the dorm building when Gabby stepped out of the door, approaching Norah with her usual slowness. Norah was surprised to see her bestfriend.

"Gabby! What are you doing here?"

"Oh, thank God. I thought you're already gone." Gabby raised her arm, and there was her pink duffel bag.

"Really Gabby? You want to come with me?" Norah laughed and hug her.

"Yes, I already got my permission from dad. But he said only for two days."

Norah couldn't believe her ears, this two days would be a great summer holiday in the mansion. Then a black shining limousin stopped in front of them.

"Is that your ride?" Gabby said with gaping mouth.

"Don't be silly, of course not."

Then a man stepped out from the limousin, wearing a black suit with a pin of black panther on his left pocket.

He was one of Xander's knight!

In a criminal organization, there were ranks within and Xander still used it even after he left the underworld. He said his subordinated, the people who'd loyal to him, wanted to hold the tradition.

"How do you know I'm coming home today?" Norah groaned. "Wait, I never saw your face before."

"I'm recruited during your time here, miss Norah. Your brother summoned me to pick you up. Please get in the car." He explained.

Damn! How did her brother knew?

"But I told him I'll come home in two more days!"

Norah was irritated that her plan failed miserably, she really couldn't keep a secret from him.

"Do you want to talk to your brother, miss?" The man raised his eyebrows then held the phone to her.

"Munchkin, I knew you want to surprise me. But I can't let you go home alone. Please just get in the car, ok?"

"Ok fine, Noah. You win."

Before she could explain that Gabby came with her, her brother had ended the call.

"Woah, I didn't know your brother own a limousin." Gabby said in awe.

"He don't. This is probably Xander's."

Norah got in the car, there was a driver on the front seat, Then Gabby followed.

"Wait miss, your friend came with you?" The man asked stupidly.

"Yes, of course. She is Gabby, my friend."

Then with a little hesitation, he let Gabby sat inside the spacious limousin. They found a small refrigerator with so many cokes and beers inside. They both look at each other and laughed, as if they had opened a box full of gold.

"What I knew is it will be a long ride because the mansion is in the remote area. So, maybe we could devour the chips and cokes, turn on the tv and enjoy ourself." Norah giggled.

"What a great idea!" Gabby nodded enthusiastically.

Norah awoke with spinning head, she tried to touch it but something prevent her as if her hands were tied together at the back. Then she blinked, but she could only see darkness. She started to panic.

"Gabby! Gabby!"

Norah nudged a body beside her, Gabby groaned and she exhaled a breath.

"Hmm? W-what's happening Norah? Why can't I see anything? Why I can't move my arms? Oh my God!"

"Calm down, Gabby. Let me think for a second."

Norah thought back, they were supposed to be on a car, on their way to Xander's mansion. No, a black limousin. A man wearing black suit with a black panther pin on his left pocket took them, but after she made sure that it was Noah's voice on the phone.

They found so many drinks and chips available and they devoured it, after that they felt sleepy. They must had passed out.

Were there drugs inside?

What is happening here?

Gabby was still screaming histerically and Norah was deep in thought, they didn't realized they were inside an elegant penthouse, seated on elegant grey chaise lounge. A man with navy expensive suit standing in front of the glass window, looking at them.

Then he clapped to get their attention, "Hello, mini me."

Gabby was sure it was her brother's voice.

"Noah? Noah this is not funny! What are you doing brother?"

"But I'm not your brother, munchkin." He said sweetly.

But it was not her brother's voice. Norah was confused as hell.

"Who are you, motherfucker?"

He clucked, "I need to wash that mouth. It's not proper for high school girl."

"Fuck you, asshole! My brother will make you regret it! Do you even know who I am?" Norah was screaming.

She heard his footsteps approaching, then his hand lowered her blindfold so she could look at the person.

Dark brown eyes gleaming with amused smile on his lips. Then he clicked something on his hand.

"Oh, I can't wait for you to fuck me, munchkin." He said with Noah's voice.

Norah widened her eyes in shock, the man had used some device to change his voice. She shivered from the realization.

They were being kidnapped!

Norah spit on his face, "What do you want asshole?"

He wiped her saliva out of his face, he had dark brown eyes, the same as his hair, with stitch mark at the end of his left eyebrow, thin high nose, thin lips minus the smile that he showed not a minute ago. He might be in his thirty something.

It was a forgettable face, just plain if not for his scar that made him stand out.

"From you or your brother?" He was back using his own voice

"If you had problems with my brother then finish it like a man. With fists or guns. Not by kidnapping two girls from their school, dolt."

The man looked at Gabby and exhaled, "She is not supposed to be here. But maybe I could use her to get your compliance."

Gabby was trashing under his threat.

"Leave my friend alone! She has nothing to do with whatever your problem with my brother! Just let her go and I will shut my mouth."

Norah looked at the blindfolded Gabby, tears falling out with agonized face. She wouldn't let this man do anything to Gabby. She would protect her friend, even if she had to sacrifice herself.

"I will let her go, that's why the blindfold still on her eyes."

Norah scanned the room, it was a big room with luxurious design, and from the view provided at that big glass window, they were on the upper floor. They were not in a secluded mansion, but it was in the middle of the fucking city.

"Then let her go unharmed." She demanded.

"Be patient, munchkin. I have to make sure I had your compliance."

"Is it ransom you want? Then call my brother!"

"No, not that fast. I will but not today."

Norah wanted to scream, he was toying with her.

"Then tell me! What is this about?"

His dark brown eyes piercing with so much hatred, "Revenge. He murdered my father. Shot right on his head in cold blood."

Norah laughed, "Then maybe your father deserved it, asshole. Maybe he too kidnapped an innocent girl like what you do now!"

He slapped her hard on the cheek, her mouth was bleeding, whether because he had slapped her or because she'd been biting her own lip.

It brought back memories when she was a small girl, when her own father, under intoxication, started beating her and Noah. He used every single vile words available and screamed it on their ears.

"Watch your mouth, little girl. Or your dear friend here will suffer from your idiocity."

The man grab Gabby by her front shirt, his hand fisted on the air. Gabby screamed and pleaded, she couldn't see anything but trembling from his cruel treatment.

"Stop! Don't harm my friend. I'm sorry. Please, I promise to keep my mouth shut."

The man let go of her shirt, then he jerk Norah's chin to him. "But maybe not too long. I can imagine what I will do to that mouth of yours."

Her stomach was sick, she wanted to vomit right on his face. But she knew better to keep her mouth silent. She was not innocent or immune for she was exposed to it when they lived with Xander's subordinates.

They would get woman playing with them every weekend and one time, she accidentally saw what they did. From that, she knew what it meant to have sex. But Noah made sure that her sister was off-limit.

"What's your intention?" Norah glared at the man.

"Eye for an eye."
