WHAT IS THIS DEJA VU FEELING ?

Imperial City at Newly Wed's apartment, night.

Louis pinned the password of his door lock and as the door was unlocked, he entered the apartment. Coming inside he changed his shoes to homely ones. Everyday whenever he came home, Seren always used to be in kitchen making dinner for both of them. She used to check out early from her work and used to come home early before Louis but today her presence was nowhere to be seen. He went to wash up himself first as he just came from outside. It had been his habit now. Seren was the one who always used to tell him that he should wash up first as soon as you come home. She was quite a clean freak. Well its expected for doctors to be serious about hygiene.

He went to the bathroom after removing his clothes and stood under the shower. He was having a lot of thoughts bugging him right now.

Through out the day after Seren disconnected his call he was just thinking about her. Right now too he was thinking, " What she must be doing? Is she busy? I wonder if she really had dinner. Should I call her? What if she thinks of me as an irritating person? Where will she sleep? I am really going mad I guess. Well its normal for me to be worried for her as her husband. After all she is my wife".

After the shower he changed himself into some casual and comfy clothes. His soft black hair were still damp and a little wet as he just had a shower. Ruffling his own hair which were let down, he strode towards the kitchen and fetched some water as he was thirsty. The next what he did was to open the fridge and search for ingredients so that he can cook something for his dinner. As Seren was not home so it was definite that he had to make his own dinner and also had to eat it alone by himself.

He sighed. Just thinking about eating alone made him sad. Louis was quite a social person so he always needed people beside him. Well it was a given as he was grown up in an happy and joint family. Even when he was abroad, he used to eat with his friends as he hated to eat alone.

Suddenly a thought struck his mind. "Should I make dinner for both of us and then take it to her? That way we can eat together and I can also meet the child. Well I guess she must have already ended her working shift so she must not be busy I guess. Hmm. She always makes the food so let me cook for her today. Guess its time for me to show my extraordinary cooking skills".

A smirk appeared on his handsome face as he was thinking that Seren would surely get impressed if he made dinner for her. Well who would get such an caring husband who made dinner just for his wife? He was grinning from ear to ear as he thought that she might really acknowledge him today.

Imperial City in general ward of Trust Hospital at night,

Seren checked time and it was already time for his medicines. She helped Lucas to take medicines and then even fixed the blanket for him to sleep. She switched off the lights except for one lamp. She sat on his bed beside him and then leaned in as she gave him a peck on his forehead. She stroked his hair and said softly, " Good night ".

She stood up and turned as she was heading towards the door. Before she could open it she heard Lucas calling her, " Mommy".

Seren looked back to face him and asked, " Yes Lucas?".

The boy looked at her with desperate eyes which wished to be loved. He was nervous to ask her but if he didn't say anything right now then he might never get the chance to do so.

He asked, " Are you leaving?".

Seren smiled at him as she replied, " I'm not leaving. I'll be back after I visit my office in two minutes. Mommy will be back. Okay?".

The boy just nodded as he looked at her back who went out of the room. He decided to wait for her but he was afraid. He thought, " What if she doesn't come? Will she leave me like others did? I don't want mommy to hate me".

Seren entered her office and removed her doctor's coat. Earlier she forgot to remove it and directly went to see Lucas. As her working hours were already over, hence there was no need for her to wear her coat. She decided to stay as Lucas's guardian and not as a doctor for tonight.

When she was checking her things in her locker she remembered how Lucas called her ' Mommy '. She was remembering the whole incident while she was with him. It seemed that he was trying to open up a little to her now. She remembered how she stroked his hair, patted his head and also gave him a peck on his forehead.

Seren thought, " When I gave him a peck, his face was red like tomato. How can my son be so cute? Wait ! What is this deja vu kind of feeling?".

Seren touched her forehead as she was having a strange feeling. She mumbled to herself, " Why do I feel like I was kissed by someone on my forehead? Is it my illusion? Guess it was mom. She too used to give me a peck before going to sleep everyday. Let's return back Seren, your son is waiting".

She hurried towards the general ward. She thought that this deja vu feeling of being pecked on forehead was of her childhood but who knew that the one who kissed her wasn't her mom, in fact it was her quack who was going crazy and wasn't able to sleep until he kissed her.

Seren returned the general ward and then sat on the chair which was beside Lucas's bed. He was waiting for her to come back.

Seren asked as she sat beside him, " Why aren't you sleeping Lucas?".

He was trying to avoid her gaze as he was afraid that Seren was mad at him and would scold him for not sleeping. He replied feeling nervous and said in a low voice, " I was waiting for mommy".

Seren stroked his hair as she said, " Mommy is here just by your side so now you can sleep".

He nodded and was relieved that she wasn't mad at him. Soon as the medicines started to react, Lucas slept peacefully. It was 10:00 pm at night when Seren received a call from Kevin.

She went out to answer the call as to not disturb Lucas's sleep. She asked, " Speak. I'm listening".

Kevin who was on the other line said, " Boss Aiden is here. He came to meet you so I sent him to the general ward lobby. I wanted to escort him but he said that he will go alone".

Seren asked, " Who is Aiden?".
