Chapter 38 ( she drives me crazy )

it turns out Natalia found the map of the building, at first it looked useless on till I found something interesting and I asked Eric to take the map and check it out " make sure to report back first thing tomorrow morning" I said and he nodded in response " and also get a room for your self, Natalia and I will sleep here "

" wait what?" she was taken aback by my words, I ignored her

" got it " Eric gave a seductive smile and I rolled my eyes at his behaviour

" just get out " trying to hold back my smile. I felt Natalia's eyes on me, watching my every move " what " I finally asked

" Why are we shearing a room?" I heard the confusion in her tone

" Since you want to stay with me so badly this...." she cut me off

" that is not what I said. I said I want to stay with you and help not stick to you like chewing gum, what am I a child?"

" chewing gum?" with an eyebrow raised I asked

" look let's get a separate room, I can't sleep with you "

" you can sleep on the floor if you like, " I said smiling " but you are not leaving this room, that way I can protect you "

" here we go again," she said with frustration in her tone " protecting me, if you want to protect me you won't tell us to sleep on the floor, what if I catch a cold. if I was your queen to be, is this what you will tell me " the thought of her being my queen run through my head. if she was my Queen we will both be in bed by now

" Yeah. well, well. off to bed now" she said and I watch as she walked to the bed. she took a pillow and divided the bed then point to the right " this is your side" then left " this is my side ". she removed the handkerchief on her head then I noticed the small bond she made with her hair. that was where all her hair went. she loosened the bond and her beautiful red hair poured down to the back " Good Night " with that she went to sleep

"wh..., what do you want " I was drawn out of my sleep by Natalia's cry " No, no, it's not me "

" Natalia " I called as I sat up " Natalia" she was sweating, she fought with the sheet as she cried

" No, No " I was certain she was having a bad dream

" Natalia" the moment I touched her I threw my hands back " shit " her body was on fire " oh my god" I panicked, I tried touching her again maybe I could wake her up but she was burning, what if she dies, I thought. " Natalia " I called but it was useless. immediately I removed the bed sheet from her body, and then quickly went to open the window. the cold night breeze hit my skin as it entered the room

" No, no " she wept

I quickly went to her hoping her body won't be as hot as before but it was no use, it got even worst

" Natalia " I called " Natalia!! " I was louder this time " Natalia!!!" I yelled and she was pulled out of her sleep by force

" hhhhhh " she jumped with eyes open wide and I was shocked by what I saw. her eyes were gold in colour and they faded immediately. " Hh, hh" panting. she looked at me in horror

" it's okay," I said ignoring the fact that her eyes change colour a second ago " I got you " I reached her hand slowly and smiled, relieved that she was now warm not hot.

" Rowan " she whispered still breathing heavily

" am right here " watching her slowly calm down "it's okay"

" Rowan " she whispered my name again but this time she was crying. wrapping her arms around me as she rests her head on my chest, her hair smelt beautiful " Rowan am scared " she said

" It was just a dream okay " I replied robbing her hair

" No. no it wasn't," she said. the room was quiet for a while. she slowly pull away, lifting her head to look at me, and our eyes met " it wasn't a dream " she said

" come on Natalia "

" No Rowan " she cut me off " that was what I thought the last time but no. now I felt it even more. I think something is happening to me and it's freaking me out, I was called Aguya for the second time now and this time he wants to kill me and it felt so real" she was talking so fast like she was about to go crazy I had to stop her

" Natalia " I called

" Yes " she answers in a very low tone " calm down okay. we will figure it out together," she nodded in response. " ok what are these dreams about "

" What kind of message is this " she whispered and I smiled. I think I knew what was going know but for some reason, I was calm about it. my mother use to tell me stories about the power stones and she said they were real and the name. Aguya. meant Mistress of fire

" you say they called you Aguya " I asked breaking the hug. she pulled a way nodding
