Chapter 42—You're not the only one who got jealous

“ William, ” he halted in her gentle dame voice. He faced her up and saw Lilian's worried gaze. She looks like wanted to say something serious.

“ Can we talk later, ” she continued.

“ Of course, in the coffee shop across the hospital,” he answered. Lilian just nodded before she headed to Demetri's room.

“ Are you still going to Demetri's side? ” She paused.

“ If I have a choice to leave, I wouldn't do rather. But, Lotus life rests on Demetri's hand ” she responded. He understands.

“ See you later, ” he said. Lilian gave him an unsure smile.

A few minutes ago, Victoria rang up his phone. He immediately picked up her call before he headed to a cafe.

“ Hello? ”

“ William, I heard the news about Lilian. How's Lilian? ” she asked full of concern. He was suddenly surprised.

“ Why do you care about her? ” he asked. Victoria cleared her throat.

“ Nothing, ” she simply answered.
