A crowd amassed before a forsworn province, formerly blanketed by an uncanny mist. The heedless dome ceased to exist, no longer barring all the willing outsiders hoping to try their luck in these atrocious lands filled with devotion and travesty. A group of valiant adventurers returned from the depths with faces pulled across into a grin. Hauling the carcass of a vicious beast behind them by the ropes and carrying sacks stuffed with stones imbued with aether, the crowd cheered at their merry return from the treacherous gutters.
“Make way,” a deep voice broke off their buoyant audience. It came from a man on horseback, followed by a caravan, as they traversed through the mob huddled around the outskirts. The nearby peasants and even the adventures lowered their heads in respect and withdrew to the side of the road. For their curious eyes landed upon the man covered in an armour doused with sparks of undyed ivory.
