The tension around the four was suffocating. Even though they were supposed to be celebrating the fact that they could leave this dystopia, Layna’s warning left them with a haunting feeling of dread which was fed into by their insecurity and caution which bordered paranoia. To further aggravate the noose of tension which already circled painfully around their necks, the experiences which occurred from the moment they came to this dreadful place, played mercilessly in their minds like a horror movie. Unfiltered, uncensored and traumatizing. Sinking deeper in the contaminated ocean of negative emotions, they were quickly contaminated with feelings they were quite familiar with. Hopelessness. Pain. Emptiness. Leaving their entire beings feeling heavy and murky.

This place was just another dystopia, adding to the many, many, MANY horrible places they knew.
