Conclusion pt.4

"Three things." Cipher answered without looking at him, "One, you're a team player, you don't have the arrogance of wanting to do everything on your own and can use the resources around you."

"Two, you can adapt to any situation and keep going regardless of any interference."

"And three, the most important part, you never once asked me about the content of the hard drive nor did you check it yourself after getting your hands on it. The data is encrypted so I would know."

"You got qualities that I lack while at the same time you're a complete professional," Cipher continued, "I like people like you Bruce, and I would give you anything if you're willing to join me. But since it's freedom that you want, I can only do this."

"That sounds really tacky." Bruce snorted as he watched Cipher drive away, "I kill one psycho bitch and another one pops out... what kind of life am I living?"

Bruce sighed as he looked over at the garage one last time before making his decision and headed for his car, driving away.

'Maybe this is for the best. ', he thought to himself, saying goodbyes didn't quite suit him and besides with Suki in his guild, he could know about her whereabouts any time he wanted to.

Though he did feel guilty about leaving this way, especially with Suki. But this was the best solution he could think of. He came here without any warning and now he would leave without one.

As he was driving off into the darkness, the roaring sound of an engine followed after him, as a car quickly overtook his and stopped in the middle of the road blocking it. Bruce stepped on the breaks, recognizing the familiar pink car, as he stepped out of the car.

"You fucking dick!" Suki pushed him as she got out of the car and kicked him on the shin, "Are you fucking serious, Bruce! You thought I wouldn't notice you being all sneaky,"

"Calm down!" Bruce grabbed her not sure how to confront this little lioness, after all, he was in the wrong but it would be a lie if he said he wasn't glad to see her, "This is a little awkward,"

"Fucking hell, Bruce... I thought you trusted me enough to not go like this." Suki said with full fury, "I thought we had something good going and you go ahead and leave me like this."

"I felt guilty okay." Bruce confessed, "I might have gotten out of the business but this life will not leave me regardless of what I do. And I don't want to put you in harm's way, just because of my selfishness. Leaving like this was a shitty thing to do, I know. But confronting you about this, with just what you've gone through today is not something I could do easily."

"That is the life you'll be living if I am around. This time you only shot someone but I can't say for sure about the next." Bruce continued as Suki began calming down a little as he slowly released her, "Hell, I am not even worried about that... I am more worried about something happening to you."

"I get that, but it's not your right to make my decision for me, Bruce." Suki said, "I know it's selfish of me to say this but you can't keep pushing people away just because you're afraid someone will get hurt. Things happen to people all the time, and you can't be sure that I will be safe even after you're gone."

"You will be all alone with your way of thinking, and how different is that from being caged in?"

Bruce sighed laying back on his car, "You're the first person I ever cared about, and you were the first person that cared about me. So I didn't want to lose that."

"And I'll keep on caring, but you can't just leave people for this reason." Suki said with her hands on his cheeks, "Not to mention how stupid that reasoning is,"

"I apologize." Bruce said shaking his head with a bitter smile on his face, "So what do you want to do?"

"The question is what do you want to do?" Suki said, "If you really wanna leave without me then I can't do much, after all, I can't follow you forever."

"You wanna come with me? What about your life here?" Bruce asked looking at her,

"I know this place is too small to hold you in and lately it's becoming small for me too. So what do you think?" Suki answered,

"Have you got any experience in running a nightclub?"

A/N:- Yo, so the first arc is finally completed! The ending might not have been grand but I believe it did its job. With introducing the plot, explaining powers and abilities, and about the main character.

And yes, the last part is a reference to Lucifer. I know a lot of you wanted to add him to the fic but he doesn't seem quite well. Since the real DC lucifer is quite OP and with Supernatural/ DC mixed in... having the good old daddy issues Lucifer doesn't seem to fit. So we're going with the bad evil Lucifer as you would.

This arc name is butterfly, as it signifies his change and leaps into the next stage of his life. I am quite happy with how it turned out to be but I hope I can make things even more exciting in the next arc.

I will take a day or two break before we begin onto the next arc... so see ya then!
