Great," Tom says and pauses with a look on his face as waiting for you to apologize in turn. "Well, let's get down to business. May I?"

He takes a seat before you can answer.

Tom shifts in his chair and leans with his forearms on your desk.

"The major reason I am here is that Uncle Lou is set to leave in a few days to attempt to find what he calls an 'Exodus Truck.' He's politicking this plan to leave the Cathedral by reinforcing an 18-wheeler with metal plates and gun holes, then loading it up with supplies, and taking the survivors across country to less populated areas."

"Yes, I know Tom. He's mentioned this to me a few times."

"My concern is that he is not suited to such endeavors alone. Sure, he is a smart man and a crack shot with a rifle, but so many dangers lurk outside these walls, I fear he will not survive the mission. I also don't think we can spare many people, so we need to send the best member of our group with him. I'm sure you can guess who I recommend?"
