Surviving the zombies
Upon hearing Owen shout, a few of the zombies run in the direction where the sound came just to meet Owen running to them. Owen fell down to the ground and starting shaking in terror. He knows that his abilities are capable of killing them but he thinks of things In a logical way that once he gets contact with their blood or saliva he might turn into one.
"Let's switch!" Alex said as Owen hops backward to evade a zombie
"Did you become deaf!?" Alex shouted as he didn't hear any reply from Owen
All Alex could hear is thoughts from Owen that are coming too fast he couldn't even comprehend. Owen is trying to think of scenarios where he could survive unscathed but all he gets to think is him turning into a zombie.
"Hey!" Alex shouted which eventually wake up Owen from his thoughts making him survive from another bite
Owen closed his eyes and is about to put his guard down for Alex to take over but then a thought has entered his head.
'Would you just give up?'
Owen opened his eyes and started to focus on the situation. He counted how many zombies there are in just one look, he saw five zombies that move fast and 3 that just walk.
Owen focused on the ground and start feeling the movements around him. This is a move he learned in movies and documentaries, they call this the Qi. He feels the aura and by using his echolocation skill he gets to narrow down how they move. Owen unleashed several huge spikes of ice going towards the zombies.
It crushed their head but there is one who survived but is only trapped.
"Good god."
Alex can't see what's happening but he can feel the things that are happening due to Owen using Qi. He felt the ice crushing the heads of those zombies.
Owen on the other hand has decided to sprint back to where they came from with the log still tied to his back. He ripped his clothes apart in order to move more comfortably.
He jumps at the logs and twigs that are scattered on the ground. He even used the stones to parkour on as if there is no log tied to him. With the Qi still active in him, he forgets what being tired for a while meant, and for Alex, he felt his thoughts leaving his head but he knew this must be a Qi effect.
"I hope this won't be bad for me in the future." Alex whispered
Owen has reached the main road where people are looking at him as some kind of weirdo with the log tied at him and his clothes being ripped apart.
"What should we do about this information about the zombies?" Owen asked
People glared at him as they wonder who this person is talking to.
Owen used his eyes to just slide the downhill so that people won't notice him talking but it didn't make a difference.
"Remember Chekov Anatoly?" Alex said
"Why the fuck are we always returning questions to each other." Owen mumbled
"We can ask him for help, maybe he's from some big family." Alex said
"The problem is we don't know how to contact him.." Owen went quiet as he saw several reporters outside the house they are staying
He can see Brian entertaining the ladies as he probably wants to mingle with them.
The reporters looked behind them and saw a bruised white hair man which they recognized immediately, It's Owen. They started walking to him but as they took another step, A girl wearing a blazer whose face they didn't see teleported and took Owen with her.
"Ayesha? What are you doing here?" Owen asked
"You should make my brother look a bit better." Ayesha said as she points out the suit laid on the bed
Owen recognizes the clothes, they are called Off-White Havana Tuxedo.
'This is expensive as fuck if I remember things correctly.' Owen thought
"Uhm will you.." Owen said
"I've seen my brother's body a lot of times already it's just the face that changed not the body, so there won't be a problem." Ayesha said
"But.."
"Just do it quickly!" Ayesha said as she stared at the wall behind her
Owen finished placing up his bow tie and Ayesha teleported him back outside right in front of the reporters. Ayesha just teleported back to her room after he dropped Owen outside
"Just do whatever you want." Alex said
"Really..."
The reporters don't know how to respond to what they are seeing but it seems that Owen is talking to himself.
"Another eccentric hunter.." A reporter said
"Maybe he's got some schizophrenia-like sickness." Another reporter said
"Man your words hurt me a bit." Owen said as he rest his arm on the reporter's shoulder
'This guy is probably better than the red-eyed one.' the reporter thought
"So who's going to ask a question first?" Owen said
"Can you tell us details about you and your abilities?" A lady reporter with chubby cheeks asked
"Ahh right the classic first question, My name is Owen Grace... I am an Ice element user and also.... I am an alternate personality Alex Pine developed." Owen said confidently
Owen doesn't really feel like saying this but he thought that he should do this to lessen the troubles they might have in the future. Alex also thought of this but he also thought that Owen should be the one to tell the public but he didn't expect that he is going to say that he's just an alternate personality.
'Hey Alex, Do you mind if I make a harem?' Owen thought hoping Alex heard it
"As long as it's not my sister then go." Alex said
"Can you please elaborate what you mean by Alternate Personality?" The same reporter asked
"Just a couple of weeks ago, Alex Pine was happily eating a cookie and the next day I was born. I am created by a company called Altair Humanities inside a human without the individual's consent."
