"Stop!!"
Owen felt like he just hit the wall as Astolfo stopped moving. Astolfo threw Owen to the ground and start heading in the direction where he can see a bulk of ice. He could see a thick water fog forming around it as he gets closer.
Astolfo took another step closer and felt a squishy feeling on his shoes. He looks down and saw flesh-meat, it doesn't look fresh but it looks like it hasn't been a day since it's been here.
"Mister Grace! How many zombies have you seen?" Astolfo asked
"I'm not sure but I remember seeing 4 zombies that move incredibly fast and- and a slow one which almost killed me. I don't know where the slow one might be I didn't get a chance to attack it due to shock." Owen said
'Shock? Isn't he a hunter?' Astolfo thought
"This guy right here, he's still moving despite the ice going through his head." Owen said pointing at the moving body
Astolfo walked towards the moving corpse and realized that Owen is right, zombies exist. He gets his face closer to the zombie and suddenly the zombie's arm scratches Astolfo's head but Astolfo is way too fast he evaded it before the zombie's hand made it halfway through his face.
"This guy's wild." Astolfo mumbled
Astolfo made a little incision on the zombie's neck, he took a finger-sized chunk of flesh as he wants his boss Rusian to check the properties of the zombies.
"If you don't mind me asking, Where is the girl who attacked me when we first met?" Astolfo asked
"What? What girl? And It might be Alex you've met before not me, anyway I am not sure if he met you before either." Owen said
'Man, the thing with Quinn and these zombies made me forget stuff.' Owen thought
"He's probably the guy who attacked Lyrica when we tried to lure her out." Alex said
"Really... I still don't know remember." Owen said
"You saying something?" Astolfo asked as he heard Owen say some words
"Uh no I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to Alex." Owen said
"People you two come across with probably thought you have some few screws loose, It's tough isn't it." Astolfo said
"Yeah, super tough." Owen said letting out a huge sigh
"Anyway, I have to tell the world that the news about zombies is real." Astolfo took his phone out and press the go-live button where suddenly thousands of people start watching the live stream Astolfo started. Astolfo raised stood in front of the zombie and made sure he and the zombie can be seen and start talking. "Hello everyone! It has been a while ever since the last time I made a live stream but these things Owen Grace and Alex Pine discovered should really make us put our guards on. Basically, this creature behind me with Ice on his head is a zombie look! Despite his brain being crushed for almost an hour now he still moves it also goes with the other bodies on the ground here except they have no limbs left to us in order to move forward."
"Well anyway, this whole stream is about me telling you all that zombies exist and they seem to be becoming active." With that Astolfo ended the stream
"Wow, Cool." Owen and Alex said
"Who would've thought that one of the strongest and most famous hunters is here with us." Alex said
"Really, how strong is he?" Owen asked
"He can enhance his senses and muscle durability but despite being a hunter for 5 years no one has ever seen the full extent of his abilities based on his brother who is the 2nd strongest hunter." Alex said
"Brother?"
Astolfo then joined the conversation.
"Rusian A Anatoly, we have the same abilities but he's been more active in the world that's why I haven't reached the spot." Astolfo said showing a genuine smile
"Owen let's switch." Alex said
Alex took over and stretched his body as he suddenly felt like being hit by a brick on the face.
"Fuck, do you stopping from high speed have after-effects?!" Alex said as he whines out of pain
"There are times where it did." Astolfo said
"May I borrow your phone, I just have to call someone." Alex said
Astolfo lends his phone and Alex started dialing Quinn's number. Nobody answered the first call so Alex tried again. Luckily by the second time, Vorden answered and he sounds like someone who just came out of a small chaos.
"You alright Vorden? If you are can you tell your master to come here to the city of plants maybe trees whatever you know its called." Alex said
"Why should he?" Vorden asked
"Just do it, baldy! Knowing Quinn, he probably wants to loot these zombies." Alex said
"Okay okay!" Vorden then hanged up
Alex gave back Astolfo's phone. Looking at Astolfo's face he could say that Astolfo wants to say something but feels like he's holding back.
"What is it?" Alex asked
"Well do you want to experience the highspeed run I just did with Owen?!" Astolfo sounded so excited he even get close to Alex's face. Just put stars on his eyes and he would look like a total lady.
"Of course I would want to just stop carefully as I don't want to receive concussions because of air hitting my face." Alex said
"Oh yes!" Astolfo said
He grabbed Alex by the shoulder and with a blink of an eye, they're gone. Stones get pushed back by the pressure of Astolfo's speed. Right now Alex is just running at Mach 1 and that's just a quarter of his true speed who knows how fast he could really go.
The two arrived back at the scene of reporters and Astolfo immediately walked forward to confirm the truth about the zombies existing. The reporters were shocked as they never thought that something like this could happen.
"If zombies exist, then why can't we just pull them to the city side for the plants to beat them up?'
