Craving For You

During the entire weekend, Kris contacted Leah but she refused to pick up. She was so furious that she almost blocked him.


Being in your early puberty is something most people adore but others don't. Like Ayra.


"Not again..... this cramps, they hurt" she wailed.


Adrian who noticed her behaviour approached her to be welcomed with a menacing tone.


"I'm in so much pain...need to find mother" she thought brushing off Adrian like he didn't exist.


"Ayra, you alright?" He asked one more time but this time with a caring tone.


"I want to be alone please" she replied trying to allay from the pain.


The moment she walked past him, he knew something was wrong with her and then he held her arm to stop her.


He stared at her pale face and cranked lips. He pulled her closer to him but his hand brushed her skin which made him panic.


"You are really burning" he panicked and stared at her hurt face.


Too bad no one other than them and the bodyguards were left in the house. The family members all went to the temple to pray as custom. Amber, who doesn't usually attend went also.


Before Ayra knew it, Adrian bent over and carried her on his arms. He took her to her room, then immediately called the doctor, who arrived minutes later.


"Why am I needed?" Mr Hart, the family doctor hurriedly asked.


But before he could say more, he heard Adrian blurt out.


Mr Hart's eyes sparkled in admiration when he saw the scene before him.


Before him, Ayra but to him a young girl was covered all over with not one , not two but three blankets. Also, a towel was placed on her forehead and Adrian trying to relieve her of her pain by singing lullaby. How dumb?.


"The temple..... she's really burning, does she has a fever?.....but she was ok the previous day" he asked with worry.


Immediately Adrian stood up from the bed to have the doctor check on her. A while later, Mr Hart smiled smugly staring at the puzzled Adrian.


Mr Hart gazed at the little pale girl and shooked his head pitifully.


"Too bad, you have a dumb brother" he thought.


"What I mean is that she's on her period.....you know, women's period?" He explained awkwardly.


With the explanation, Adrian' s entire face flushed red and a blush pricked on his face making the doctor laugh hysterically.


"And by the way, who is she..... she's new here?".


"Yeah, she's my fiancee" he spouted out unconsciously.


"Oh no, not again.....what am I gonna do with this lips of mine?".


"What I mean to say is that she's my friend not fiancee...a slip of the tongue?" He laughed awkwardly.


"Anyway, I gave her an injection that will reduce the pain for some hours and" he paused before handing over a prescribed drug on a paper to him.


"She should take this drugs regularly... I'll be on my way now" he cried before packing all of his things.


" I will see you off" he announced before following him, closing the door behind him slowly.
