"I'm not lost, I am in the bathroom...you old man" he groaned.


"Quit calling out my name like I'm lost".


Twenty minutes later, he came out with a towel around his waist and a towel hanged around his neck.


He picked up his mobile phone to check if there was any calls or messages. The first thing to see on his phone was his girlfriend's messages, before he noticed 20 missed calls. 10 from his friends and 10 from his girlfriend.


He opened his WeChat page to check his messages.


"You promised me you would come to see me this night....where are you?".


"Is something up, Leah is freaking out.....be fast".


He groaned loudly after reading the messages. He felt messed up and regretted not opening his phone the previous day. He was so angry at that time that he forgot about his dinner date with Leah.


"She would be so angry with me....I know it, I messed up big time" he lazily sat on the bed with his palms on his face.


"Ayra, would you like to move to a New school?" Her paternal uncle inquired.


"I'm only here for an engagement, that's all.....after that, I'll go back". She replied curtly.


"Then you will make cousin Adrian feel bad".


"Adrian wants you to attend his school....will you hurt his feelings like that" her uncle tried to sound pitiful.


"I...I..I" she paused and stared at Adrian's bewildered expression. When he felt her gaze on him, he lowered his head pretending to feel hurt.


Maybe it did the trick because she pouted her lips and stared at her parents who were in their own world.


"I....I" she stared at him again before asking "do you want me to attend your school?".


At first he nodded but when he saw her hurt face, he shooked his head.


"You don't have to come if you don't want to, I know you'll miss your friends....just forget it" he smiled but the family members threw daggers at him.


"What nonsense is he saying?" Mira thought.


"Just kidding" "of course I will come ..... actually, I really dislike my school.....they say hurtful things alot".


"Thank goodness, Adrian initiated this and about friends, I only have one friend but she'll understand....you don't have to worry" she smiled broadly.


He wanted her to attend his school, but he couldn't bear seeing her like that when she felt hurt, that's why he rejected it but now. He felt happy. Very happy.


She approached Adrian and sat next to him on the couch.


"So brother Adrian.....your school, how is it.....is it huge or beautiful...or" she inquired


"Why am I suddenly nervous describing the school.... it's not a big deal?" He thought.


"Look how our son gets nervous when he is with her" Mira tapped on her husband's arm whispering softly.
