Third One
A/N: Hi Guys! Today I am going to continue writing after a long long break as well as re‐reading all the previous chapters to fix some errors. I'll only update after checking everything, but today's an exception cus it is to remind you, all my readers that I'm not quiting this story.
No way! I've got tons of ideas revolving in my mind and there's no place to vent except here, so of course I'm pumped.

Like in the original, Izumi and co. first arrived at Ankaji.
Izumi obliviously didn't want to go there but fate seemed to had other plans. They met Duke's son named Bize. He was trying to crossed the sandstorm to go to the nearest town for a cure for an unknown disease that had been affecting his Dukedom.
Problem was that, he stumbled upon Hajime's car first, Kaori and Shizuku's little sense of justice woke up and wanted to help the poor man. So Hajime informed the situation to Izumi, who silently cursed Plot-kun and agreed.
Arriving at the Desert city, trouble followed Izumi and trouble was his bitch so he obliviously dealt with it easily. Those poor guards who were looking at the girls lustfully and even going as far to 'accidentally' tried to touched them....Well, they had already said goodbyes to their hand and were thrown inside the prison when the Duke got the wind of it. They obivious tried to deny the accusations much to their bad luck as Duke's son was the main witness.
Izumi also took care of their problems by destroying the virus infected water after it had been contaminated by a gelatinous monster released by demons.
However, Kaori, Shizuku along with Tio as she volunteered to stay with Myuu in Ankaji.
Izumi had no problem to Tio staying as he would easily pass down the knowledge with his "Data-Kiss" and it depends if she had affinity for the magic or not.
As for Myuu, he had planned to sent her to their base, either way it's fine.
Remaining party went towards the infamous The Grand Gruen Volcano.
(A/N: Since he had reached the mastery over water he could control it so he obliviously separated the virus... Remember logic won't work in fiction. Shizuku didn't go because she was helping and guiding her bestie Kaori.)

Arriving, they faced a massive sandstorm surrounded permanently the entire labyrinth.
All of them erected a barrier with Izumi activating his Halo like barrier to protect themselves in case a monster attacked and it was big enough to cover the part but regardless of it all, Hajime and Yue had their barriers on. He also tried a new manipulate the winds emitted from the sandstorm and make it temporarily disappear which was enough for them to pass, leaving others gobsmacked by his cheat like power.
Even Yue who controlled every elements couldn't do that, showing the levels of difference.
After crossing the sandstorm, they saw the blue sky and an active volcano ahead. Since the entrance was at the top, they flew towards it instead of walking. No one wanted to stay in heat for long and wanted it to be done as soon as possible.
Entering the entrance of the Gruen. They obliviously went through the many levels of magma, fire tunnel, fountain lava and don't forget about deadly fire monsters and traps as they made their ways. The heat seemed to be increasing with each step they took. Everyone were affected by it with Shia was the most so Shalter changed place.
She was the one who fought most to strengthen her strength and get used to her body. Hajime used his usual Donner and Schalag, Yue used her elements, Grayfia surprisingly using a sword to dealt with monsters even though she preferred to use magic most of the times, she still knew how use weapons and last but not least, Izumi using his Lucifer, who was over the moon to be used by his master and he also slowed down his healing to get pain resistance.
His sweat was dripping and his arms were quite sore but he continued on.
Apart from this, he swung Lucifer 2000 times to get familiar with its power.
Having weapon mastery doesn't mean he would become lazy.
The extreme heat was sapping their strengths through and through.
They unanimously agreed not to teleport to their base as it would destroy their motivation.
Izumi even said that if Shizuku was here she could have gotten stronger to which Hajime and others nodded.
All in all, they trained and honed their skills inside the labyrinth... and became the first group who used labyrinth as a training ground.
If this spread among those who are trying to conquer the first part of the labyrinth and still coming back crying.
I don't know whether they would have urge to commit suicide or revere them, lol.
Thinking of this, Izumi secretly hahahaha'ed inside his dark heart.
After what seemed to a week of venturing, they entered inside a long tunnel and arrived infront of a large Carven that easily dwarfed the final room of OO with several rivers of magma crossing above them and the entire bottom was filled with magma besides the ocassion stones island for foothold. The most notable thing though was the largest Island in the middle of the room that covered in dome of magma.
Izumi only smiled as the whole ordeal now was coming to an end. He led others down as the stairs led them towards the foothold of the island....or the final Boss Room.
!!
Instantly a twenty headed serpentine surged from the magma and shot several fire breaths towards them.
This somehow caught them unprepared but!
"Scatter!"
Izumi yelled as everyone took off into different locations with Izumi instinctively grabbing both Shalter and Grayfia as he flew to further back....Hajime did the same with Yue.
"Fuck! I almost got a heart attack!" Shalter cursed out and earned a karate chop on the top of her head.
"Language, Shalter-chan." Grayfia sternly said as her relationship with Shalter has grown closer since both of them had Demonic energy and could feel each other, completely discarding Izumi of course.
"Humph!" Shalter harrumph as she rubbed her head.
After that initial attack, everyone got their bearing back and turned towards the serpent, their eyes gleamed before a flurry of sudden attacks were unleashed.
"Die!" *DOOPAN*
"Light lances!"
"Mega Ice spear!"
(A/N: It's embarrassing to write yelling attacks name.... )
Hajime, Yue and Grayfia were the ones who attacked with Shia using her hammer to destroy its landing.
The entire Carven was filled with explosive sounds and those poor heads were being bullied though couple of managed to survive and began to heal, however a big core could be seen.
"The core!" Someone pointed out and it was Izumi who responded quickly.
Izumi swung Lucifer, a dark sword energy was shot out....An initial slash wave as it flew at amazing speed immediately cutting the barely visible big core into pieces.
Although it didn't stop there and continued running through several meters destroying everything in its path, then disappeared not. before causing a huge explosion.
*BOOM*
"The hell!" He was dumbfounded by its sheer power and his hand holding Lucifer, was little numb.
Others also weren't any better. They had an 'O' formed on their mouth.
It was his first time using demonic energy so he thought why not give it a try. How could he have known that it would be this destructive just from a simple wave?
Seeing the result, he understood that he still hadn't grasped the perfect control over it. He put his sword inside and apologized.
"Hehe...Sorry, Sorry. I still haven't grasp over its power properly." He scratched his cheek as their gazes was making him little embarassed.

Minutes later, they recovered from the shock that shattered their world views and noticed the black buliding that appeared with the crest of liberators on the side and some kind of floating platform above it. As they approached the door opened, stepping inside they saw a magic circle carved in the floor with some words written on the wall,
"I sincerely wish for the free will of the people in the future." -- Naiz Guruyuu-en.
Everyone nodded respectfully before stepping inside the circle. It begun its search for their memories to ensure that they had comparability with the magic power it would bestow.
Then a white light shone indicating the end of the search and worthy hosts.
