They made such a stunning entrance the whole arena was quiet before people started clapping and cheering, Aaron and his family included.
They were just too stunning and everyone wanted to get this ceremony started so the excitement was to the roof.
"Ok, ok, settle down everyone." The Woman spoke with her enchanting mellow voice.
Everyone quieted down quickly, seemingly making the woman pleased while the younger girl looked on with a bit of disdain on her face, but covered it up quickly, but not quick enough for Aaron not to notice.
He frowned, but he never dared to feel or even dare being upset with Legends, they are too scary…. Who knows the young girls age? She may look 16, but actually be a 3,000 year old hag. He wasn't going to take such a risk. So he just threw it to the back of his mind to remember this event.
"For those of you that are clueless to what happens during and after the Ceremony, my little sister Annie will explain." The woman nodded her head at Annie.
"Hmph! When the ceremony starts I or Big Sister Caiayla, will call 20 children to come on the stage at a time, in alphabetical order. We will then hand you creation crystals which we will as you to put your energy into, the crystal will glow a colour depending on what elemental you are, the crystal will then send a shocking sensation through your hand to you dantian, awakening you. Whether you feel pain or not is depending on what elemental you are. For instance I've heard awakening abs a Yang Elemental is painful as it send a burning sensation through the whole body, I've also heard awakening as a Metal Elemental is hard because it rends most of the organs to replace them with the metal you awakened.
After you have awakened we will give you a strengthening pill and a healing pill if needed. We will then assess what race you got, if you are an uncommon we will ask you to sit back with your family, if you are a common, rare, super rare etc… We will ask you to take a seat on one of these chairs ten chairs behind us as we will be taking you to that respective continent right after the ceremony ends. Parents are allowed to come send their children off, but unless they are the same race they can't go with the children. That's all." Annie announced with full contempt, she spoke as if she was above all, very dislikable.
When Aaron heard what she said, he was shocked. The memories he didn't have about the awakening can rushing to his head like a storm…
All this time he's been thinking he'd stay with his family, but no! This could possibly be the last chance they are together…
When Aaron was in his second world, he never truly had a family. His father was very busy and usually disappointed in him, so they didn't talk much, and only a few months after his step mother and her son arrived, they killed him. At first he thought it was an accident after all he didn't have anything against them nor did anything to suppress them so why would he even consider them killing him? It was only after coming back to this world and remembering something's that he realised it was all planned.
So when he seen his family again he was beyond happy, isn't this what he wanted for so long?
But now it's all gone shattered to pieces. He was near a mental breakdown, why does the one thing he ever wished for get taken away from him as soon as he got it back?
Forget a powerful element, he just wants his family! Unknowingly tears started running down his face.
His mother looked at him, and rubbed his and the others head's. Lots of kids were crying, what if they were taken away from their parents and siblings?
Caiayla looked at the scene and her heart hurt. It must be hard hearing that you might get taken away from your family, it made her think about her sister that was taken away from her as well.
Annie was disdainful. Did these people think it was easy to awaken as something other than uncommon??
"You guys don't need to cry, it's hard to become another race besides uncommon." Annie said with some annoyance. But it's the only thing she has said so far that made people feel happy.
Aaron nodded, that's right. It's not easy, all around us is uncommon elements, thus becoming another race is difficult.
"Then shall we get started." Annie sounded out again before Caiayla started calling off names she left everyone bewildered, they weren't ready for this yet, but nonetheless some kids started going down the stair and running towards the stage.
Aaron felt scared and excited. Scared because he could be removed from his family and excited because he could be something special… He hopes everyone in his family can become something special.
While Caiayla was announcing names his mother spoke out.
"I have a secret to tell you guys."
All of them looked towards their mother with confusion and curiosity.
A secret? She has them?
His mother chuckled and continued to speak.
"I am not uncommon, I am super rare. I come from the Cantu Fate Clan, I am a Fate Elemental, and I know we will be split up. I know most importantly that Aaron you my son, will be left alone." She said with a heavy heart, and a bitter smile.
The kids were shocked. Their mom wasn't uncommon but super rare! On top of that she's a Fate Elemental and can tell we are all going to be split up and Aaron left alone.
Aaron was hit hard… He had to stop himself from crying tears.
His mother hugged him tightly and his brother and sister got off the chairs and hugged him too, his sister was crying, he had to shut her mouth before she caused a ruckus. She held in her cries and had the sniffles.
Everyone sighed. It's was truly too sad.
Aaron decided to speak first.
"What am I then mother?" He asked softly.
"I am not sure, but I am sure you'll change the world, you all will." She said with a smile on her face.
"Come sit back down let watch." She told her children in her motherly voice, though she was bleeding in the inside, she didn't want to part with her youngest son…. But she had to stay calm so they would as well. She put on that motherly smile she's oh so used to, and started to watch the ceremony.
Time passed quickly, so far only one of the ten seats were filled, it was a beautiful light brown skinned girl, who awakened as a Magic Elemental. The girl seemed excited, Aaron remembered seeing her on the air bear he was riding on, she's very lucky to have awakened as a Magic Elemental. He smiled and continued watching, he seen many people got through painful awakenings, many Yang elementals. There was even the rare uncommon plant elemental who seemed to have been born straight from a plant, which is nothing but extraordinary.
Soon it was their turn… They looked at each other nervously as they jumped off their chairs and looked at their mom before the headed towards the stage downstairs.
This was it. The deciding factor of their fate and they weren't ready for what was to happen.
