"I'm so nervous…" Lia said as she got closer to the stage, 15 people were already up there and two were in front of them… It finally dawned upon her that this is really happening and that's she's going to separate from her family soon…
"Don't be scared LiLi! We can do this." Aaron's little voice spoke out.
Lia looked at her cute little brother and felt even more sad, then she look at her other brother who didn't seem to be bothered at all and felt like strangling him! She wanted to yell in his face, 'hey! Don't you realise we are about to separate here!' But she didn't want to make a fool of her family so she only glared at him hatefully and console her little cutie Aaron.
Though Farron looked as if he didn't care on the outside he was crying on the inside. He feels glad he wore a black cloak so he can hide his expression or else he'd be a pitiful sight.
They finally made their way up the stage and sat down on the floor like the others.
The rude girl Annie distributed the crystals this time, and had her casual disdainful glares.
Aaron was extremely annoyed, where is this girl's character? Is the only thing in her disdain? He disliked her very much, no matter how cute or good looking she is, she isn't half worth it with that attitude.
'Hmph!' Aaron made a mental note of this treatment in his heart.
Hey looked at the crystal in his hand. It had many colours flying around in it.
Yes, flying around. It was like little souls were trapped in it. He could now tell these were element spirits.
He now understood how the awakening truly works. The creation crystal is made with every element, and when someone puts their energy into it, it will naturally shine with the element you are compatible with and put the energy into the dantian, many powerful people use the creation crystal to power themselves up, so it's only makes sense that when so much energy goes into their body they will have to forcefully awaken their element. It's to say even if one didn't get to be in the ceremony they'd still awaken no matter what. The ceremony just makes it happen quicker.
Knowing how it works Aaron couldn't wait to give it a go, but they had to take turns from oldest to youngest. When awakening it has to be as quiet as possible as not to disturb it, so if everyone were to go at the same time and a Yang elemental appears and started yelling bloody murder, they would disrupt everyone's awakening, Aaron was the youngest on stage so he had to go last… His sister however is second, he was very excited to see what she is! He wanted them to hurry up and start already.
As if reading his mind Caiayla told the first person to beginning. It was a 12 year old boy, he was seated calmly, as he closed eyes. You could see him injecting his energy into the crystal and you could see spirits in the crystal slowly eliminating until it left only one. A bright pale yellow light shone from the crystal, revealing the boy to be a light elemental! The spirit escaped from the crystal and shot into the boys body as if it's found the perfect vessel for its power.
The boy started to glow, and even levitated a bit still sitting criss-crossed. He shone so bright he lightened the whole room. Beautiful.
He's the first light element thus far, and from the aura he's giving off he's definitely going to have a good future! He most likely is a rank one light elemental now, so powerful. Even the magic elemental sitting in one of the ten seats behind them did not upgrade to rank one.
But at the same time a rank one light elemental may not match up to a rank one magic elemental. That's what Aaron remembers hearing somewhere… He doesn't quite get it though, if they are both rank one how can one be more powerful than the other? He has much to learn after this.
The boy that was floating finally floated down to the ground and opened his eyes with a look of excitement.
"You're a light elemental, you may leave the stage." The little girl Annie wasn't even a bit fazed and said with a cold tone.
The boy went down the stage with a dejected look. Aaron felt bad for him.
"You're awakening was amazing you shined so bright and even ranked up! You are sure to have a great future." Aaron said.
The boy turned around and looked at Aaron, his dejected look turned into a happy one as he said his thanks and walked away.
Annie looked at Aaron as if she wanted to kill him.
Aaron didn't even bother with her and looked back in disdain. What he did is nothing different from courting death… He hopes he gets a good stealth elemental because he doesn't want to die too young…
He looked away from Annie and ignored her.
Annie was seething she started to walk over to Aaron before Caiayla held her back with a glare.
"Next!" She announced.
Lia who was worrying about her brother stopped and looked down at the crystal in her hands. She wondered what she would get…
She closed her eyes and tried to put all the energy she could into the crystal, soon the element spirits started dispersing one bye one, leaving behind a pink colour that shined so bright.
Her eyes that were closed opened widely, the energy around her exploded out, pushing the people close to her away, her hair flew all directions, her eyes were covered with a shade of pink and if you went close enough you could see millions of pictures flashing in her eyes.
Her head started to hurt, she was seeing things she shouldn't be seeing, and too many memories that weren't hers popped in her head, she couldn't help but screaming out in pain.
Aaron and Farron who were at the side couldn't help but worry, they also weren't aware of what this element was, so that made it even worse.
Finally the energy that had bursted out went back into Lia's body as she settled down and her screams stopped. A pink diamond mark formed on her forehead, and the pure cute aura around her turned into a profound and elegant aura, her eyes were mellowed down and she seemed like a different person.
"Fate Elemental!!" Even Annie who looked down on everyone in disdain was in shock.
Lia sighed and smiled. She stood up and took a seat on the chair next to the magic elemental... She shook the girls hand and greeted her.
"We'll be heading to the same continent let's take care of each other." A glint flash past Lia's eyes as she said this, this girl was everywhere in Aaron's future, she must make sure this girl is pure hearted.
"Um.. Sure." The girl replied, she was going to say something but a voice cut her off…
"Next!" Caiayla tone sounded.
Hence another round of brutal and graceful awakenings began, soon it was down to the final three left. Farron being first and Aaron being last.
Farron held the crystal tightly with his eyes closed. Everything that happens to his sister happened to him, Aaron was blown away by the energy, he suddenly felt the other people she blew away had great bodies because he was close to throwing up blood.
He got up weakly and watched his brother, unlike his sister Farron never screamed, he endured until it was over.
Aaron sighed in admiration, his brother, though an idiot has great will and determination.
Farron's aura didn't change like his sisters and stayed the same, but his eyes did look more intelligent.
Farron got up and sat on the other side of the magic elemental and looked at his brother with anticipation.
The boy before Aaron started his awakening, the end result was him being a gravity elemental, Aaron who had already weak from the energy explosion earlier, really coughed out blood this time.
The boy before him apologised many times before going down the stage.
He was going to ask for a healing pill as he really needed it but Annie wouldn't give him one.
He was starting to feel impatient with this little girl, he was in pain and needed help but she was playing games.
The more he thought about it the angrier he got, as Caiayla was about to step in, she noticed something and stopped.
Aaron was getting angrier and angrier by the minute, clutching the crystal that he never let go of the whole day, unknowingly energy started to direct into it.
Aaron's eyes grew red.
"You little girl are so annoying! Who do you think you are looking down at every in disdain! Do you think it's cute? Cause it's not in fact it's extremely ugly, you are ugly! I pray for the man that has to be wed to you in the future." Aaron's cute little face didn't look so cute anymore in fact it looked quite scary. His face was so dark and his eyes shined a blood red.
He squeezed the crystal so hard blood started to drop from his palms. The element spirits started to run out of the crystal one by one hurriedly dispersing, as if they were scared and the crystal shone a in a blood red colour.
Annie who was shocked and offended didn't realize this and decided she was going to give a piece of her mind.
"What are you talking about! Do you think you all could even compare to me the princess of order! You all are just a bunch of good for nothings! Getting all excited over awakening as garbage! You all are garbage!" Annie finally voiced her true thoughts and felt good about it.
Aaron exploded, he felt an energy run through him that he's never felt before, the blood in his body felt multiplied, and his veins felt as if they have enlarged. He couldn't help but want to release the extra energy, and he found his target.
Aaron spread his legs open widely as he dropped the now empty crystal to the ground.
He formed a first with his right hand that was still bleeding due to the crystal's sharpness and pulled it far back before punching out his fist towards Annie.
Since he was no where near close to Annie his fist obviously couldn't connect with her, but the blood rushed through the cracks of his fingers reaching towards her in a great speeds.
Annie that was feeling proud of herself stopped in her tracks, feeling extremely terrified, this blood carried a murderous intent that made her stuck in place, for once making her scared for her life.
"No!!" She yelled as her eyes constricted but how could something stop just because she said so?
The strike hit her sent her flying into her sister who then caught her…
Annie threw up some blood before passing out in her sisters arms.
The blood had splattered all over after hitting its target, making the stage look a mess.
Caiayla looked at her little sister and bit her lip. The last thing she wanted to do was see her sister hurt and embarrassed, but her sister needed to learn that she wasn't better than anyone. In fact she was very weak. If it hadn't been for her, would her sister be able to be as arrogant as she is today?
She shook her head and looked at Aaron who was breathing heavily and staring at her as if she were pray.
She reached in her pocket and threw him a pill in which he caught perfectly.
She ten turned to look at the crowd who looked gratified yet scared at the same time and spoke out
"I apologize for my sister wretched behaviour, take what just happened as her punishment for offending you all! I'm so deeply sorry!" She bowed and placed her sister on one of the two chairs behind them.
Aaron who was standing idle the whole time threw the pill into his mouth and reached his hand out.
All the blood that was splattered started to gather around into a ball, even Annie's blood wasn't an exception. When the ball finished forming it flew towards Aaron and went into his body.
Finally he turned around and took a seat near his brother that was looking at him as if he was a little monster.
The whole time Aaron looked cold as if he wasn't himself it was only when Caiayla announced what he was that he finally snapped out of it.
Not sure he heard her right he asked once more…
"Sorry, I'm a what?"
"A blood elemental…"
