Trying to Find a Trail

~~~(POV: Feroxes Iremon, level 880 Exotic Grade Adventurer, Class Grade: Exotic)~~~
~~~(Class Name: Emissary of Cerxoes, God of Metals)~~~

~~~(Location: City of Tellis, Eastern part of the Termal Empire, Local Inn)~~~
Ugh! Fuck! Why isn't there a goddamn clue about The Darkness Incarnate anywhere in the Eastern part of the Termal Empire!? "We've been to plenty of cities, towns, and villages, Feroxes... Perhaps it's time that we find a different way to locate him than just asking around in a discreet manner." One of my four party members, Elias Hexel, speaks sense.
It was a long shot, to begin with... Finding out about The Darkness Incarnate by word of mouth isn't easy. Erasing the memories of anyone we ask so the knowledge that such an existence is walking among doesn't get out. "We could always turn to the Seers... Maybe they've received something about who we're after." Another party member of the four, Yelima Ciras, throws in her two cents.
It'll be a last resort, and judging from last time. Any Seer that tries to look for The Darkness Incarnate ends up losing their eyesight at best and their minds at worst. "No, we can't rely on The Church of Light Mother Gleawern for this. What we need is something that'll help us. A magical item or spell." Our group's mage, Gezerel Serean, has the best idea so far.
The major problem with that is such a spell doesn't exist, and if it does, we don't know about it. "Then what do you suggest we do, Gezerel. Such a spell or magic doesn't exist, and we'd waste our time searching." The final member of our party, Velsivic Nelier, recounts Gezerel in frustration. All this talking isn't getting us anywhere. We need to make a decision.
What we do know is The Darkness Incarnate is in the Eastern part of the Termal Empire. Knowing this narrows it down. "Hmm... What about places that aren't on any maps... Or have since been readded... What about that town... Nettleton, I think it was called. On the first day the players arrived, it was rediscovered and resettled." That was uncommon...
That was a unique case in the Termal Empire. Players didn't accomplish much on the day of release. "That's the best lead we have, and I think it's a perfect place to start searching. Let's not waste any more time and get out of here." My party nods their heads, and we quickly get ready. The Darkness Incarnate threatens all existence. We must find him.
~~~(Location: Home, Getting out of bed)~~~

~~~(Date: February 15th, 2297)~~~
~~~(Time: 7:18 AM)~~~

My eyes are crusty, and I have a hard time opening them, but I'm glad that I got to sleep in a soft and big bed. I slowly make my way out of the blanket and get in the shower. Making sure that I get some bathing done. I go days, and sometimes weeks without a shower. I know it's disgusting, but I have a life that allows such behavior.

Tesha's shop doesn't open until 8:00 AM, so I have time to enjoy the nice hot water. There are a few things that I get physical pleasure from, and a nice hot shower after a long period of time without it feels so damn good. Getting all the dried sweat and grime off my body. "Wonder what the rest of the player base for The Libertas Dive is up to right now..." Guilds never stop working.

There are thousands of guilds that are big enough to always have players on that contribute to the guild and its growth. You can't compete with that as a solo player, not unless you have something powerful to tip the scales. My Mythical Grade Class is something that'll make it even, and at a point when I'm strong enough. Unfair to face me.

Speaking of Guilds, I wonder if Decree of Freedom ever read that post I left on their Forum on how to beat The Test of The Valkyrie. I'm not going to check anytime soon. Not while I'm in the shower. There are still many things for me to do, and I'm looking forward to getting back on the grind. When you have a fun Class to play as I do, you want to grind.
