Blood Buddha Qi Pseudo Dantain

"Allow me to explain." A girls cold voice spoke once more behind the young man. "This was a designed trap made specifically to catch you, making the fake animal prints, covering up other tracks, placing some shedded animal hairs on the ground on occasion. Leading you towards this place, if you had more experience and vigilance against me then you would not have been caught so easily so lucky for me. After all how could you ever suspect a small child to have ill intentions towards you the moment you first met."

The man fell forward while his body began trying to escape from his weakening body but he could only make tiny stiff movements as he lost his strength further. 'Argh move!'

"I will tell you a funny story to pass the time. There was once a man who joined an evil sect, he was surrounded by those he could call the same as him in nature. They all bragged about their cruel acts in delight, at first he told a story about how he was a sect disciple of one of the sets within the martial alliance. He killed a fellow disciple during a mission outside of the sect because no matter how hard he worked to gain strength he could not surpass that person. So he killed him and hoped to disguise it as an accident or murder by someone else so he could take his position. Unfortunately the other sect disciples did not believe the story and evidence given so accused and chased after him to get justice. He became wanted by the sect and escaped. Sound familiar?"

The mans eyes widened in disbelief. 'How does she know that?! I have been so careful to conceal myself.'

"The story did not end there… after his escape and settling down in hiding an incident happened. The evil sect entered the village and began to slowly take root, he saw this as a chance to fight against his fate and gain strength and power, seeing as he had a foundation in martial arts but had not got to access his sects Qi art he was quickly accepted. He then began to practice their Qi art changing the nature of his Qi to that of blood and began to revel in joy during his massacres and gaining of strength. He bragged and went into detail on how the village was quickly wiped out and the family were tortured before being killed. They especially spent a long time torturing the father and grandmother for the secrets of the family… but they died before they could get anything out of them. I believe you said they were a stubborn bunch."

The mans eyes began to show fear. 'What is she?!'

"Back then I held in my inner anger because I had a much bigger goal, I eventually achieved it and got some personal revenge. While I returned I thought about some things, what if I take a certain action? Can I redeem that person? If not then should I find a way to control them so they do no harm to me or my family or should I simply eliminate them?" Ki's voice became even more cold and murderous. "After asking myself these questions I realised something. I am no saint or a hero so why should I try to save such a damned person. There will be a day when knives will be pointed towards my family I know that much is inevitable but I can at least reduce those who are able to point their blades. You are a threat, there may be a change in the future but a persons character does not change so easily. You never regretted what you did even once so you would make the same decision again."

The mans body quivered in fear. 'She is talking nonsense… but why does it sound like she knows me well. What is happening. I have to escape. Ah.'

"I did pick up a thing from you during my time knowing you so thank you for that. As thanks for your sacrifice and the time I have known you as a fellow evil person I will let you die without pain." Ki took out a small and thin acupuncture needle on placed it on the back side of his neck behind his ear. [1]

The mans eyes turned sleepy and he entered a long sleep.

"I can easily get rid of your body but it would be best to make it seem more like an animal attack which you escaped then you escaped to the cave before dying." Ki took out a dagger shaped like an animals tooth and placed it over his shoulder before stabbing down at a certain angle to make the markings as natural as possible.

One of the things Ki picked up when watching this man in her previous life was his ways of torturing people and covering up his tracks after killing someone.

He often covered up his kills as animal attacks or accidents in order to avoid detection from the eyes of the martial alliances investigation departments.

Ki sat down and placed both of her palms above the wound. "Looking at his physique and sensing the Qi within his dantain I believe he is at least a 2nd rate martial artist so this should be more than enough to suit my needs."

Ki began to operate her Generation Qi Arts second stage along with the Blood Buddha Qi Art after placing her palms on the wound.

While blood martial arts Qi techniques help to drink or absorb the vitality from blood when bathing in a pool of fresh blood.

The best way to get the most vitality from a person is when they are still alive by using the blood attraction palm technique designed to target wounds and create a suction force attracting the vitality and Qi of the enemy into the body upon contact.

The technique has its flaws as it is limited when fighting a life and death battle, holding onto an opponent for a long time would lead to death as it would reveal an opening for the opponent to exploit.

Most blood sect members only used these techniques on someone who is near death, has been fully subdued or in a weakened state.

Ki started her Generation Qi Art along with attracting the vitality from the blood towards her dantain.

Following the principle of 'Water is the supporting element of Wood. Wood can release the power of Water.' The blood natured energy or vitality began to flow into her dantain where he poisonous Qi was located.

She then slowly began to store up the vitality and then release it creating a small pathway within the body.

When the pathway or bridge was solidified and stable, the energy or vitality then began flow into a circular motion at the end of the pathway.

After creating the outer layer and solidifying it the remaining energy and Qi within the mans body, the life force within the man began to decrease further flowing into the newly created pseudo dantain.

Ki began to form her blood Qi within her dantain over a long period of time, as she further refined and solidified her foundation she began to feel more full of energy.

Traces of blood remained around the dead body that had fallen to the ground however Ki could not sense any vitality contained within the blood with her help of her blood arts.

Blood Sect martial artists are especially sensitive to the levels of vitality of others thanks to their Qi arts and Ki was now able to subtly detect others vitality levels upon being near someone who had an exposed wound or she was in close contact with.

She made some more wounds with the dagger, she then searched his body before finding a few small pieces of cloth he carried in case of injury and made a small attempt to cover the wounds while adding a little bit of alcohol to the cloth.

Finally she lay the torch in his hand, positioned his body as if he had fallen due to weakness and passed out during dressing his wound after removed the needle from his neck.

The hand which held the torch went close to the bandaged wound which then caught fire.

The fire spread from the bandage to his clothing before engulfing his entire body.

Ki left the cave before the smoke from the fire began to form, leaving his burning body behind. "Farewell Blood Axe, though I never truly learned your real name in the end I do wish to thank you for allowing me to take this step forward. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten."

Ki left to go clean her bloodied hands and checked her appearance before heading back to the village.

She walked around the village as if inspecting the land before returning home. 'Now that I have begun practicing the Blood Buddha Art and completed the final stage of the Generation Qi Art I can now begin to take on more extreme training methods to increase my practice speed. It is also good that while my blood Qi grows it also nurtures my poison Qi. The stronger my blood Qi then the stronger my Poison Arts growth rate. So long as I remember to promote my practice steadily and not make any mistakes like the principle 'too much Water overacts Wood' by increasing my blood Qi too much to surpass my poison Qi then I should not destroy what I have built.'
