Research room

Within the research room several plants and herbs were ground up and put in many different vials or bowls.

They either were ground into powder or were added to a vial that had water or another liquid inside.

On the shelf of poisons there were vials were lined up in order of their lethality, on the shelf of medicines there were many types of medicines ordered by their uses and effectiveness

then there was several rows of wine bottles and flasks containing many different types of wine, then many jars containing many types of Gu worms and finally there was one for tea leaves that contained various medicinal purposes.

In a new looking container were several parts of the alpine flower that had been separated and ground up or dealt with according to how they were going to be used in the next experiments.

Many parts of the flowers were set aside to make medicines for various ailments while the leaves were kept and properly prepared to be used to make herbal tea.

Some parts were going to be made into various wound creams that would be slowly introduced in the future in the herb pavilion while drinks would be also sold for their antibacterial, sedative effects and deal with internal wounds.

As for the use to help with many ladies complaints like menstruation, pregnancy and menopause that would not yet be even led to the public.

However one day when the time is right, the herbal tea that displays its effects would become available within the tea pavilion which would greatly promote the tea pavilions name once more.

As for an alpine wine Ki had not thought of making one for now but she did have some ideas on making some liquor with them and testing its popularity in the northern parts of the central lands.

In the future the making of liquors or more specifically brandy became more popular to most businesses and within various circles so while wine makers did suffer a little of a loss they were still able to branch out into new business ventures.

Ki did not wish to introduce it too early but she knew that it would soon be time for the nobles to take an interest in such drinks since it provided them more variety to choose from.

However this did not stop her from being prepared, in fact there were many types of wines being made within the mansion and within private wine making buildings within the inner wall but there was also a space solely for making other types of drinks that would be popular in the future.

Since she knew what would become popular and when she could be prepared for when the nobles are swayed by the crowd and then use this to make a profit.

Although Ki much preferred her wines to other drinks she did not wish to miss out on a chance to promote the things she had been working on over the years.

Many bottled goods were quietly waiting to be shown to the world that were personally made by herself.

Meanwhile within the research room, a flask was in Ki's hands and she had a grim look on her face.

On the location that had a missing flask had a row of flasks that had a label by them saying 'poison ivy wine' followed by 'almost fully diluted' or 'half diluted' and 'dangerous' etc.

The place she had removed the flask from was the least dangerous part that was the 'almost fully diluted' section.

She then sat on the ground on a practice mat with her legs crossed and her eyes closed.

Opening the flask she poured a small amount of the wine down her throat and then began to breathe according to the rhythm her extreme noxious qi art to begin to temper and refine her qi as the wine passed through her body.

A mild stinging pain was felt in her throat and went down to her stomach as it continued.

The poison qi passed through her body and guided the more toxic parts of the poisonous wine towards her dantain towards the source of her poison qi that was pure white like the mulberry trees white sap.

As some of the effects took place within her body Ki could feel that she was suffering from allergic symptoms and her body was rejecting what she had consumed but that's to the fact that it had been highly diluted her body wasn't in much of a serious condition.

The radical way to get over an allergy is to build up a tolerance just like poison or they can just be avoided for life but not for Ki.

She had to gradually build up her bodies tolerance to various allergens found in trees or plants and also poisons.

Although she had a hundred poison immunity body at present it did not mean she was completely invincible.

Even a poison master with high immunity can be killed by a peanut if they are allergic to it so naturally something all humans are allergic to will need to be avoided or they would need to build up a tolerance against it.

There had been many deaths that had been ruled as acts of killing by poison when really they had an allergic reaction to something they ate, touched or breathed in through their nose or mouth.

For a long time Ki endured the pain within the body as she kept tempering herself against the poison ivy within her body and also began the next stage of her extreme noxious qi art.

Slowly the effects of her qi were being promoted in toxicity but also it was gaining additional effects that when spread onto a persons body it would spread quickly and cause that person great pain and distress.

After the effects stopped and the wine was completely used up within her body and broken down completely, Ki used her blood qi and vitality to repair any internal damage done to her body while the silkworm Gu consumed anything that lingered within her body.

She took a break until she was in the best state possible and then continued to repeat her actions carefully and patiently as she suffered from the reduced effects of the poison ivy.

After several trials and successes, Ki then made a poisonous body tempering bath for herself that was no longer the reduced version and submerged herself within it while continue it to use both her blood Buddha qi art and extreme noxious art together with the help of the generation qi art to further temper her body and qi.

Ever since she had broken through the transcendent stage she could finally begin taking the next step in tempering her bones in preparation for the bone metamorphosis and further temper her skin, muscles and tendons.

All of the blood qi would be built up within her bones along with the effects of the poison body tempering recipe until it finally reaches a critical point.

Once triggered the bone metamorphosis would begin and a new set of bones would form while any impurities would be expelled from the body.

It is rumoured that the blood Buddha qi art results in making the skeleton red as blood and as tough as a strong metal but Ki was unsure of what would be the result of her own bone metamorphosis because of her use of poison and blood martial arts.

Most people who undergo it would usually become a lot more beautiful if they originally had decent facial or body features, once they were cleansed and had clean skin and corrected defects they improved significantly.

Ki wondered how she would turn out after she has passed that stage, would she become too beautiful that it would be a problem?

Ki furrowed her brows while submerged inside the bath as she endured the pain that she was undergoing. 'No matter what the world or fate has in store for me I just have to find a way to overcome it so I really should not worry too much.'
