Years pass by 3

A new merchant family appeared in the north that appeared to be the owners of the entertainment pavilions, several taverns and inns of different sizes.

The merchant family were rumoured to have purchased a noble title from a falling noble family that had many debts and the owner of the family was a man in his late sixties.

His daughter and son died when the carriage was attacked by bandits leaving the daughter behind with her grandfather who remains as the sole heir of the family.

Rayleigh was able to focus most of her time on training during this time and broke through to the peak realm at a very young age although not as quickly as Ki had achieved thanks to the abundant amount of qi within her body and constant training.

Although rumours were spread about her, she remained secluded from the world and denied meeting those filled with ill intentions that wished to take advantage of the young girl and her grandfather.

Many noble invitations and marriage letters arrived for her but she returned them right away and did not wish to join any of the social circles.

As for Lumi who had remained within the Bombyx mansion, she had focussed on her training while picking up a couple more life skills from Ki.

She had also broken through to the peak realm and was on her way towards the transcendent stage.

All Lumi and Rayleigh needed was to gain a little more insight into their advanced forms they had mastered before they could take the next step forward as they already had enough qi to break through.

Miranda had become much younger after fully absorbing the yin qi from the captured lady and her strength had also grown significantly but she was still stuck practicing the basic palm arts that had been provided.

In order to not be too far behind others she was given a qi boosting pill to improve her strength at a faster speed and also was able to use her abilities to drain yin qi from female criminals who were sentenced to die along with the previously captured evil yin sect recruit.

It didn't take long before her efforts practicing the palm forms of the evil yin sect and constant training were rewarded after she had been given many resources and she had broken through to the peak realm but her qi surpassed that rank and was approaching the transcendent realm so she spent the rest of her time training her body, learning her palm art basics and refining and mastering the use of her qi.

Unlike most martial artists there do exist many who had broken through to the transcendent or unrestrained realm without having great mastery of martial arts or a strong body trained to its limits with the help of an evil qi art, by consuming pills or miracle drugs.

Although they may have their own insights, due to their lack of practice compared to others they are far weaker than martial artists that have broken through with effort and constant learning.

That did not mean that there was no hope of defending themselves, at least they could try to escape from someone within the same realm or use sneaky tactics to make use of their evil palm arts to turn the tables on their unsuspecting enemies.

In fact Ki had broken through to the transcendent realm early in her previous life which helped her gain a higher amount of vitality which helped her tremendously as she journeyed the world in search of ways to fix her broken body.

Her abundant blood qi helped her to escape many dangerous situations and break through to the transcendent realm forcefully and after that she focussed on gaining additional insight into her martial arts during her travels to make up for her faults.

Once she was close to reaching the unrestrained realm she had already healed her body and begun to try to build up her body but there were many limitations holding her back.

In the end when she reached the unrestrained realm she found that her body was the main factor that held her back from reaching the bright realm along with some missing insight or epiphany.

Although things like evil arts or qi pills could boost a persons qi they could not make up for one's lack of insight or their bodies current state even if they helped break through to higher realms.

Eventually defects would show or they would be considered as a lesser version of those within that realm because of their poorly trained body and poor mastery over the use of their body and qi even within that realm.

Fortunately Ki had lived a long life and gained much experience and insight into many things so she had made up for most of her faults and weaknesses.

After she returned to the basics she realised that she had missed many things and learned the importance of keeping her body in the best condition in order to properly balance her mind, qi and body.

As her body was undergoing a rapid growth it was slowly approaching its best state for her to prepare for ascending to higher realms.

Miranda was also provided much more access to qi resources thanks to several people being identified within the Bombyx families village or Wolfden city that had been identified as evil yin sect recruits so if they were within the families territory Ki had sufficient rights to kidnap and imprison them after they had been investigated thoroughly.

Those that were not absorbed by Miranda were put aside to be absorbed by someone else so they could be put to use as yin storage containers.

Miranda's daughter Evie had consumed a qi boosting pill along with Leon when they turned ten and after many months of difficult training they had entered the peak realm.

Anything they lacked Ki helped to make up for it with thorough teaching and pointing out their flaws so their growth was very fast so they were able to make up for their lack of insight into their martial arts forms and able to move onto almost mastering their advanced forms.

Although they were both Ki's students little about them was known about them to the outside world but there were occasions where they would both go outside together to gain experience with the white wolf group if it wasn't too dangerous for them.

Though every time they went out Ki would always be one step behind just in case any accidents happen.
