Qi Art Stages

Due to the various problems with her body and her mentality along with her unstable foundation that had been rushed using the blood qi arts, Ki had found herself unable to break past the the Unrestrained Realm.

Her current state was one where she had done her best to delay her breakthroughs and honed her own abilities and body enough to be able to keep them all balanced out.

Once she had reached the Unrestrained Realm as a true Unrestrained martial artist, it did feel very different to how she had done so in her previous life.

If Martial Artists broke through realms using medicines or other methods without developing other skills then they had the power of one but not of a real one.

A real breakthrough was achieved through greater comprehensive and mastery over their abilities so that they could begin to evolve that to greater heights but Ki had missed that stage and had tried to build upon that much later but it was already much too late in her previous life to fix her own problems.

A missed opportunity like what she had just experienced was something that she was completely lacking along with many other things so she was stuck forever in that realm and did not possess the same combat ability as those that had achieved the same realm through their own abilities.

It was a known fact that when it came to realms, a fake could never defeat the real thing and those that achieved everything without effort of their own would soon reach their limitations once they had reached the Unrestrained Realm.

Transcendent and Unrestrained powerhouses of sects could be raised that way to raise their number of powerful fighters and to use them on the battlefield but they would still be considered as foot soldiers compared to their prized students that held higher positions.

There was a limit to how much of such of such medicines and ingredients could be found or produced while there was also a limit to how many people could successfully produce them so those that were able to gain such chances would usually be from greater sects.

Those that were granted such treatments would be chosen to be a part of a group of people like themselves or would be given positions below those with influence so that they could be most effectively used by the sects they were a part of.

For a great many people who had lacked talent and a stronger backer, they would take up such an opportunity since their future would not see them reaching such a realm even if they trained harder than anyone else.

Some medicines harmed the body to achieve it, others could be taken safely and other methods on the demonic or other evil paths were possible routes to help them achieve what was beyond their potential and many would be desperate enough to accept whatever they would be put through just to achieve what they were previously incapable of doing on their own.

The Blood Qi nourished the Noxious Qi and then travelled around the body along with the movements of the next part of the body tempering.

A couple of quick circulations had followed as Ki had quickly gotten a smoother grasp of her own body that was slowly improving.

It was not by a large amount that it had been tempered but the previous medicinal body tempering baths had helped to ease the way towards the next stage without encountering any difficulties.

Ki had already undergone tempering with further improvements made from her medicinal baths and her Bone Metamorphosis so she was in the best possible state to begin the next stage.

Her skin, muscles, tendons and bones were being washed and tempered by the Blood Qi with every cycle that washed over each part of her body.

If there was anything left then it would be the meridians, blood and internal organs.

The internal organs were always usually left until last due to there being a greater risk to tempering them and the slightest mistake could lead to death.

The blood of Ki was not only being washed with the Blood Qi but also with the traces that had been left behind from her medicinal baths and her Noxious Qi that had circulated throughout her body.

The poison resistance that Ki had built up along with her Silkworm Gu had further protected her from any dangers that may have been caused during the whole process of tempering her body during the initial stages of her new realm.

Her Noxious Qi was not the same as it was before in a pure white state and had become a pink colour that was the same shade as a healthy person's skin tone.

Her breakthrough and the influence of her Qi Method had caused a strange change but it did not seem like it was a bad thing.

There was only one thing that had let her realise that she did not have anything prepared yet to help aid her Noxious Qi further and that was using something as a foundation for the next stage of the Qi Art.

Just like how the Blood Qi had stages for body tempering, the Noxious Qi had stages for what would be used as a base for the Noxious Qi.

The first stage would begin with a lesser type of poison or harmful ingredient then that would be built upon by something else that had some similarities or was compatible with it.

At every stage, the Noxious effects would only continue to become more dangerous and take on many other kinds of properties.

Ki had started off using the sap and other parts of the Mulberry Tree then had moved onto Poison Ivy during her time in the Transcendent Realm so she needed something that was compatible with it all that would boost the harmful effects further.

There were some dangerous trees in the world or parts of them that could be used but Ki had yet to visit any of them so it was something that was on her list of things to do in order to achieve that purpose.

Once she had walked over to the cave, her hand had touched the side of the wall and started to untangle some tiny strings.

Once they were untangled and were being pulled down from the wall, they were all wrapped up in her hand before they had been put into her pocket.

Ki had no other valid weapons with her besides the remaining hair pin she had left over so she had to improvise with whatever was available to her.

Her body had started to slowly climb down the mountain while there were many things ongoing beneath her which she had missed out on during her time climbing up, having her breakthrough and her climb back down.
