Night dinners

While he was still on his horse, he looked around the place and then looked at the meeting hall.

He got off his horse and walked straight into the hall. He didn't even look at the people staring at him. He had an arrogant expression and an air of superiority around him.

As he entered the hall, Rhaet and others turned to him.

He walked in slow steps and sat directly opposite Rhaet. He looked at Rhaet.

"I am Mosce, an official from the Ditrayn, and I came here by the order of my lord."

"I'm sure my friend here has already informed you of the reason for my visit."

Rhaet smiled and nodded. "Yes."

Reinfride added, "Your journey here is not wasted, Master Mosce."

"Chief Rhaet seems to have the amount you require."

"Indeed. "So let's talk about the price."

"Ho ho, Chief has already learned to make profits."

Reinfride rubbed his hands and looked at Mosce. "Master Mosce, as you have an urgent need for it, just give me the price I tell you, which will satisfy both parties." What say?"

Rhaet nodded in approval.

The discussion went on about the prize, and they settled on a reasonable amount of gold and a few other conditions.

Mosce had an interesting proposal, which Rhaet couldn't refuse. He said that they have a plan to establish a place of their own near their village. It was a couple of miles from the village.

In two to three years, all kinds of people will be coming here to do business. It was their plan, and they want to be the first ones to settle here and explore here. These mountains would undoubtedly contain ores, and it would undoubtedly be a profitable venture. That is why Mosce has come here personally and made a deal with Rhaet to get support from him.

For Rhaet, it would mean he would be getting more gold, so he didn't decline the offer but happily agreed to his proposal.

The meeting ended, and Mosce stayed the night and left the village in the morning with the wheat.

Rhaet sat in his home near the dining table. He was beaming with joy.

Ragna, who was serving him meat, looked at him and asked, "Wipe that smile off; it's creepy."

"Hehehe, my dear wifey!"

"My son and my beautiful daughter."

Synnove and Ivar were also present, and they were having dinner.

"What happened to Father?" Synnove, with a raised eyebrow, asked her mother.

"I think he got boxes of gold." Ragna sighed and sat beside Rhaet.

"Father, even if you had gold, what would you do?"Where would you spend them?"

"Hehehe, my silly daughter. Soon everything will be here. Then we will buy whatever we want." Rhaet munched on his meat while laughing.

Three looked at each other, sighed, and resumed eating.

Aragon and Katheryn were also having their dinner.

"My boy, I see you going too often to your other aunt."

Katheryn said as she sipped ale from the jug. Eliza was also sitting with them. They didn't treat her like a servant, and she always had dinner with them.

Aragon looked at his aunt. "She called for me, so I went." "There is nothing to discuss."

"Oh! My dear nephew, You also stopped training; why is that?"

"What's with all these questions?" Aragon put on a face as though he were annoyed.

"You little! "Wait till I eat."
