Years Fly By

Ivor was sitting at the centre of the open octagon area. Suddenly there was a golden glow emitting from Ivor, the golden glow became denser and denser until it covered the entire cave.

The golden light started to gather back into Ivor and in the next few moments there was a transparent orb above Ivor's head, the orb contained strings of light containing colours of red, blue, brown, white, black and never-ending colour changing light.

The orb was sucked back into Ivor's body and the phenomenon ended.

"How many years has it been... who would have thought this technique would seal me..."

The soul technique had sealed Ivor's soul and mind into a page within the book and Ivor spent many years within the seal trying to break out of it. The seal would suppress Ivor and it increased each time Ivor unlocked a small seal within it.

The results Ivor got out of the seal was phenomenal, his soul and mind kept strengthening together to keep conscious in order to function enough to unseal himself. Once Ivor was released he created the orb, this was his soul egg which represented he broke through to the last stage of the Golden Core Realm - Soul Egg.

It was a requirement for a golden core cultivator to create a soul egg but most of them only used 1 to 2 elements, while a few were unique and made multiple. In Ivor's case, he had created six strings and these were created with the help of the seal.

The first seal was fire, Ivor endured multiple years of burning until found how to control the fire temperature and reduced it until it was relaxing to break the seal.

The second seal was water, Ivor was being drowned by waves of water, it was like the deep sea where if one was alone and fell overboard, they would not return. Ivor broke the seal by changing the direction of the currents, this made the pressure around Ivor small which broke the seal.

The third seal was earth, Ivor had been crushed by mountains constantly and each time the weight would increase also the gravity increased which made the mountain speed up, for Ivor to break the seal he had to reverse gravity, the comprehension of gravity itself was difficult but Ivor had managed to make gravity around him reversable which made the mountain reflect away, altough the control of reversing gravity was weak it worked well for the situation.

The fourth seal was wind, this seal would exert large amount of wind pressure which would cut Ivor and make him fly about on the ground breaking him apart. This seal was not as hard as reversing gravity and instead Ivor required to use wind around him as a shield, just like he changed the waters direction, he did the same with wind.

The fifth seal was space, this suprised Ivor he never thought he would have to deal with a space seal, he also wondered how he had obtained space but he came to conslusion his soul had contracted space laws while reincarnating.

For Ivor to break the fifth seal was the most difficult, what he had to control was space, but space was chaotic, nothing was stable and space kept moving him around which made it hard for him to even think. Ivor was being teleported for years and then he started to see a fraction of how space worked, and Ivor cut of the next teleportaion by using space.

The sixth seal was something he did not know, he was a sleep but in his dream he would dream of his life over and over, from being born to being dead and born again. he witnessed his life many time and one day he just woke up and came to his current state.

"System how long was I sealed?" asked Ivor, he was very curious and wanted to know how long he had to live.

[Host was sealed for 40 years]

"...System should i not be dead, wasn't my life span about 70 years but maybe 80 years after the sutra?" Ivor was panicking, he what he would die very soon

Ivor face was blank, while he looked at the system interface, he was schocked.

"That makes no sense, how can my lifespan be so high... isn't that what only high cultivators should possess?" Ivor was questioning systems lifespan calculations.

"Wait, so with out the sutra i would have about 300 years?"

"hmm... well, i quess i should start building my house..." Ivor was thinking what he should start with first but then he remebered he had a crate.

Ivor asked the system for the large crate and opened it.

"that's suprising, never thought I would get animal related materials... system what are tiers of monsters?" Ivor just realised he didn't not understand tiers of monster

Ivor walking around his cave, looking at the walls, the walls were smooth but enchanted. The stone walls were enchanted when he created the entrance otherwise, why should he add illusion arrays.

Ivor stopped and this was a key point in the array, while he was sealed he learned a lot about arrays. Ivor started to write symbols on to the paths inside the cave: Gravity. Ivor knew it would be difficult to reverse gravity but even if the could what was the point, instead he made it that he could intensify gravity any were inside the cave.

"There, now let's begin."

Ivor took stones out, shaped them and started to create arrays and enchantments inside them and started to stack them to create a wall, except one brick would take atleast 4 hours since there were many complex writings inside them.
