Chapter 8: The Beginning of the Nightmares

I can hear the howls and growls....screams of the people who's suffering on their pain...and their cries of the childrens shouting for help....and the sinister laughs of the monsters...

the smell of blood and the smoke of the burning houses all over the place...and the voice who's calling out my name...

[bla....blank...blank!]

and the last thing i saw is arisha and balimor's faces....

[a nightmare...]

my hands are shaking and trembling on fear...im having a cold sweat...that dream is so realistic i woke with a tears on my eyes....crying...scared....

then arisha called out to me, from outside my room, i quickly change my clothes into casual clothes that i always use and head outside my room....

[Henry and Jane is going to leave now, let's see them off after were done eating our breakfast]

arisha tapped my shoulder and i flinched...im spacing out because of that dreams, im breathing so fast....

[s-sorry, i....]

[are you okay?]

arisha place her fore onto mine to check if i'm alright, if i have colds or not...but im alright...it's just a dream...a nightmare

[you must be sad that your friends will gonna leave right?]

i made a sad face but im smiling to show that everything will be okay....yeah...everything is going to be alright...

we quickly go to the place of henry and jane and tom is already there as well....henry and jane is wearing formal clothes on them, because even tho they live in just a small village henry and jane's family have names on the capital of Luzanoa country it seems like henry's grandfather is one of the big merchants in there so they're rich...

[Blank lets meet again, and the next time you will gonna see me, lets have fun together again]

Henry smiled while saying those words and it's the same as well with jane who's talking with Tom and he's...wearing a formal clothes as well, and is that a flowers he's hiding on his back?...i didnt butt in on the two of them but i'm happy that we all can say goodbye to each other so happily like this...tom handed out the flowers to jane, and she seems so happy about it, im smiling while looking at them and then i go to my parents side...and then henry and jane rode the carriage they're going to use to go at the capital, and it's already noon at the time they leave, i see them off leaving this place from afar....

[lets meet again...]

i smiled after seeing them out of my sight from afar and head back home but tom suddenly called out to me...

[blank...i will sure to surpass you one day...and become then one who will loved by jane]

he seem so serious on his words but did he just said surpass me?....i dont know what is he talking about but i smiled and told him...

tom smiled at me and go back to their home....the sun is already about to set...the people on the village seem to be only few left because they're all leaving this place for their safety, and not only this village i'm sure it's the same for the other village as well...

it's already night time...and yet i cant calm myself...why do i feel like something is about to happen, i look at the window from my room and everything seems to be normal...balimor and arisha is downstairs...i'm sure their talking about our plan on the future after we leave this village tomorrow...

after they leave the village henry is riding the carriage that they're using to go at the capital, but it seems like one of the tires of the carriage is broken and they cant make it...

[what if we go back at the village change it?]

[yeah were still not that so far but can we make it?]

that's the suggestion of henry's parents and the person who's driving the carriage is agree as well, because it seems like they can make it....

...i cant sleep...i tried to tire myself out to sleep but i still cant, i read books back and fort but still cant sleep...but i decided to go downstairs to join arisha and balimor, then i can see them smiling and laughing...they have a nostalgia on their look, it's as if they're talking about the past...they're former adventurers so im sure they have so much memories together...but there's one thing i want to know as well from them...

i joined the two of them and take a sit on the chair...

i nodded at the of them but it seems like they dont mind me joining them so i take the opportunity to ask about the two of them...

i enjoy listening to their stories about they're adventures on how they kill different kind of monster and find so many treasures on their adventure...but the one thing i want to know is about them...

balimor widen his eyes and look at arisha...

[you want to hear about your true parents?]

im really curious on what happen to them because arisha and balimor never mentioned to me a thing about them...but it seems like it's really an awkward question to ask...

arisha let our a sigh and smiled at me, the same for balimor as well

a loud noise from outside and a big fire have broke out on the center of the village...

balimor and arisha quickly goes outside the house to check out the situation...

and there the whole village is in a whole chaos, a big fire is broking out and i can hear some screams...

i follow arisha and balimor, balimor who quickly equiped his weapon and light armor, and arisha who take out her staff that has been hidden out on their room...

after we made it to the place of commotion, i was shocked to what i saw...

monsters...no demons...demons everywhere killing everyone on their eyes, arisha grabbed my hands who seem so serious right now and have a fierce look on her face but balimor, he seem to be the one who's more scarier....he's gritting his teeth's as if he's mad...

then i saw tom with his father and called them out...so many demons are trying to attack us but arisha raise her staff and enchant some magic, an arrow like fire magic shot all the demons who tried to attack us...im confused on what's happening but i tried to remain calm on this situation but then...a giant demon showed up and jumped in front of us...

a loud Bang that made the whole ground shake and make us tom and his father fell down on our knees but balimor and arisha is still standing and facing the giant demon in front of us...it has large teeth and large arms but his foot is just like a normal foot for a giant, his stance is like of a gorilla and it has and saddle like thing on his back and someone is riding on it...

the giant make a loud roar on us but why is it not attacking us?...but then tom's father grabbed him and run away...his father even made a "eek" voice...but tom is trying to stop him

[wait, father where are we going]

[s-shut up just follow me!]

[but blank and his parents are still there]

his father didnt listen to him and just continue running away and then after that the other demons are trying to surround us but they're not attacking us....

and then one of the demons spoke, it's the one who riding the giant, all of this demons have two horns and dark skin on them, and the one who's riding the giant have large horns and nose and he's so small, he have a height that's matching to me and he's holding a cane on him with weird things on top and he's wearing a hood that's covering his whole body...

[kekeke...i didnt...expect...to see...the...two..of...you...in...here]

arisha and balimor stayed silent and didnt reply to the demon...

[how...rude...you...guys...cant...even...respond...to...my...words.....well...you...all...will...gonna...die...in...here...any...ways]

and then he started chanting some weird language as if he's about to attack now...

[Arisha...i will leave blank to you]

balimor smiled at me and arisha grabbed me from behind and carry me and ran away, the demons tried to stop us but arisha quickly already prepared to attack them...and balimor was left behind...

[that...kid...is...he...]

[ dont you dare to touch the both of them...you bastard]

[kekeke...you...still...didnt...change...balimor...but...sadly...this..is...the....last...time...you...will...gonna...see...them...]

balimor didnt care about what he said but just smile with and attacked him, but the giant block his attack so fast...

[RAAAAHHHH!!!]

The giant Roared at balimor so loud, and balimor was already covered with the cursed magic all over his body...body puked blood but he's still standing...

[im afraid to say but, your underestimating me too much, you fucking traitor]

the demon seems to not so happy when he heared balimor said that in front of him...that made him lost his temper...

[kill...him....]

i dont know how long have we been running away, i'm dumbfounded right now...arisha who's carrying me and just keep running away and there's still demon chasing us...arisha enter the forest near the village...i cant see arisha's face because of the dark, but i remember i can use aura...i focus on focusing it on my eyes...and now i can somehow see from the dark and arisha is doing the same as well with her magic, "night vision"

there even tho she agreed to run away...arisha seems like, she doesn't even want to do it as well...she crying right now while carrying me...

really....what's happening...everything is just so normal not so long ago but then some demons have attacked us...and are those the demons who attacked the front fort? but why are they're here so fast...

tear started to flow out of my eyes...

[Mom! we cant leave dad!]

arisha didnt listen to what i said and just keep running away...but then we made it into a dead end....a cliff and a river at the bottom of it...

i can hear the demons are about to catch up to us...their howls are getting louder and louder that mean they're about to make it on this place...arisha put me down and look at me....her eyes are full of tears but she's still smiling at me...

and then demons are already surrounded us...

their growls are so scary...this feeling...my hands are trembling....im scared...since when did the last time i got so scared....yeah it's from my previous world...

i dont know what to think...im confused ...im scared...

[kekek, we found you]

[the commander told us to kill them but dont kill the kid]

what?....i dont know what are they talking about but, they plan to kill arisha but let me live...arisha stand infront of me and chant her magic

[dont you dare touch him you traitors..."Flame wall"!]

the wall of flame surround us and block the demons in front of us but we cant run aways...were at the edge of the cliff, are we gonna jump?

but then arisha hugs me...

[blank...everything will be okay...just live however you want alright?and please forget about us forever...]

[Mom?]

[Stop them faster!]

[But this flame-!]

the demons are trying to get in but the flames are blocking them so they cant get near us but arisha...she seem so exhausted....and her arms they're wounded and she look so pale...wait...before we leave...she was affected by the attacks....that demon chanted before we leave...

[Mom-]

[We want to tell tou this but....your about to have little sister]

i was shocked yet confused when she told me that...i thought she's going to say about on how she was affected on the attack from that demon that time but...she said...im going to have a sister...that means....im about to say that this is not the time to talk about those...

but arisha touch my head and chant some magic....and then she push me off the cliff....

and the last i saw saw is her....smiling at me...
