Chapter 5: The Royal Invite

It was getting a little boring being all alone at home. But after two days I got a call from my parents saying I was allowed outside the house again and I could join them at the Party.

Now I had to choose between one, party with parents or two, kill the one I have have been trying to for like ever. So far I have decided to forget a ten year old's revenge story and go to the Kingsmen Gala in England.

I wore a blue, off shoulder mermaid tail gown but also didn't forgot to customise it for any occasion. It was about a 6 hour drive since Scotland is not far from England.

As I arrived I was expecting a more of a formal Gala but it turned out to be a informal party kind of Gala. I was shown the way to where my parents were staying in a hotel nearby.

"Mom..Dad..I am home" I said entering the room.

Mom came running towards me and hugged me. Then dad being dad gave a smile and a bow to show that he was happy that I came, so, I gave a gentle bow in return.

"Ah! that's my daughter! A lady" said Dad pleased.

"Dad wasn't this a formal Gala?" I asked

"Of course it is, you see the the youngsters were getting bored. So, they decided to have party before the Gala started" said my father

"Can I go father?" I asked

"Why not?" said Father

I went to a changing room and got dressed as fast as possible. It was too fast my father was so pleased that I could get ready from head to toe in just four minutes and not a thing misplaced which was so unlike other ladies.

They literally took hours to get ready...

Mom was surprised too...

Just as I was about to leave my father called me back.

"Yes father?" I asked

"Daughter, you'll be bringing a guard with you..come on choose" he said

There was Mr Jim, Mr Ander, Mr James, Mrs Westle and Miss Ria. Obviously I was not about to bring a man with me to club neither a woman so I choose Ria and my father is ok with that. In the corridors of the hotel I asked her why she took a job as a bodyguard?.

"Because I needed money, since I was already trained in martial arts this was a job I could take up" she replied.

"Why? I mean if you are already trained, you only need to apply and pass a test to get a full time permanent job as an officer" I stated

"You see Miss Sapphire it's not that every girls life is like yours. My parents wouldn't agree to pay for my studies or training but now they are not even agreeing to pay for my test." she answered

I knew she was a normal girl but I couldn't just let this happen to her for I had been there myself. So I decided to help her keeping the words of that old lady in mind that it is every girls' life like this I can't change all.

But I'll try my best to change the ones I can.

"Hey! you don't know anything about my life, were you there to see all. Anyways, I could help you only if I am confident that you are good at fighting.

Come here at after two days on time 'cause the person you will be seeing doesn't wait at all." I gave her a note with an address and walked along.

We reached the club. I sat for a drink and asked her to sit too. She denied saying that she needs to guard me. But I insisted her to anything she liked as a treat, she chose orange juice.

Though choice, at least for me I was allergic to oranges but I didn't told that to her.

After some time, a boy came to me sat down and gave me a drink. It wasn't like I was gonna trust that boy more ever I didn't like him at all. Ria was gonna defend me but I was first to stand and punch him in the face.

"I am Sapphire Zile. Don't you have manners how to treat a lady!" I said

"Sorry,..sor..sorry Miss.. sorry" he said going away scared.

"It looks like you don't need any protecting, ha, do ya?" Ria said

"Depends on which way you think?" I said

I thoroughly enjoyed the party and went to the hotel room on time as I didn't want to upset my father. When I reached inside the room, my parents were waiting for me there.

They told me that the party was gonna start in half an hour and that I can rest and go to the party on time. I told my father and mother what happened at the club accept for the part where I punched that boy.

Ria got credit for that and ofcourse I tried to sound as innocent as possible. My parents as always believed me and thanked Ria for her help.

I asked them to make her my permanent all time guard.

"Can I mom?" I asked

"Sure, that way you'll have a friend as well which you are in need of my dear" answered mother

"I agree" said father

So, when they left I made myself at home. I ate chips and pizza but for Ria I was sitting in on place.

"Hey! thanks!" Ria said

"My pleasure, I needed to get rid of other full time guards anyway, you were the perfect option" I said

"Don't you get bored sitting like this all day?" Ria asked after a while.

"Ofcourse I don't,..want some pizza?" I asked her

"Yeah..wait how did you..you didn't get up..I am pretty sure..there was no pizza on the table" she said.

"Your eyes are deceiving you girl" I said holding a full slice of pizza which was gone the next second.

Oh! my! was she surprised! Wish I could tell her but what I learnt from my past experiences is that don't tell anyone,.. anywhere,.. anything till you trust them completely. So, there were plenty of tests coming her way.

[While I was playing video games]

"Do your parents allow you to play games?..Ah!" asked Ria when I just beated her in her own favourite game 5th continuous time.

"I can do anything I want, eat anything, play anything, treat anyone anyway I like..." I said

"Probably, because you are so adorable!" she said interuppting me.

"It is so because I am the main earner of the family. I earn minimum of 15 million dollars in a day minimum." I said reluctantly.

"But probably is the highest of what you hear in your money scale" I added angerily.

"I am so sorry!" she said

"Don't worry, we'll see how well you perform monday night." I said grinning. She seemed confused.

Then I stood up to get ready for Gala, since only 10 minutes were left. I was inside the dressing room and was back all ready but Ria just turned her back to the door.

"You weren't kidding when you said you will be in and out!" said Ria

"Ya..now go get ready" I said giving her a ball gown.

I had to wait five minutes for her. When we were about to leave we heard a knock on the door. Ria went and answered the knock. It was Mr Jim. He told that mom and dad asked whether I would be coming or not. I said I would be and asked me to take me to my parents.

As soon as we reached, my parents greeted me and my father introduced me to a lady standing beside mother. It was the Queen.

"Your Majesty" I bowed in order to greet her.

"Your daughter is even more beautiful than you said Mrs Zile." said the Queen.

"What can I say, my daughter can't be described by words" said my father.

"Ah! She certainly must meet my son" said the Queen looking around.

"He still must be in his room, my dear" Queen said.

"Sapphire dear is quite punctual" She added.

"Don't worry, Your Majesty, we could wait" said mother.
