After countless meetings with Isabella, she had managed to plan a wedding which was to happen tomorrow. She got destructed by the harsh opening of her door and with a shake of her head resumed what she was doing. She quickly retracted her fingers form the keypad of her laptop to avoid being hit on the fingers.
"What is it ? And can you not enter without hurting my door and walls?"
"No one told you to get an expensive one and you can just remove the door to avoid all hullabaloo." Lucille replied in a suggestive tone.
She scoffed in reply to her preposterous statement and twirled her pen around her fingers. She had no idea how tired she was until she got interrupted by her friend. She gently massaged her neck and took off her crystal blue glasses.
"I'm going to check up on Isabella's wedding arrangements. Do you wanna come with me?" She queried her assistant.
"As long as there is food and it profits me then I have no objections."
She picks up her bag with a smile and gets up heading towards the door. After hearing no footsteps behind her, she turns only to find Lucille sitting on her chair with crossed legs and a tight lipped smile.
"Really? You could've just told me, you know. Being the perfect friend that I am I would've gotten up in a heartbeat and had you sit in it. Now that you've succeeded come on lets go I don't want to be late. Please?"
Lucille gets up and starts walking towards her but pauses midway and goes back to kiss the chair before returning to Lucianna's side.
"I'm beginning to think you love the chair more than you do me." Lucianna says.
"Maybe, maybe not." Her friend replies.
She smiles and enters the awaiting Cadillac and soon after her friend joins her and they both speed up towards the setting for the wedding.
They both get down from the car and Lucille marvels at the sight whilst Lucianna looks around proudly.
"Woah. It's chilly outside and I didn't even bring a coat. I can be so dumb sometimes." Lucille mutters whiles rubbing her arms up and down her exposed shoulders. Lucianna upon hearing her takes off her coat and wraps it around her and whispers an 'I know, right.' before dragging her towards the entrance of the huge building.
She walks around to make sure everything is okay whilst Lucille goes in search of baked goodies. The walls were painted white with soft touches of red and huge diamond and gold chandeliers hung on the ceilings. The aisle illuminated wherever she stepped and silk white curtains were draped over the walls. It truly was a sight to behold.
After adding a few touches here and there and making sure everything was set in place she went off in search of Lucille. She found her outside with a bar of Kit Kat in her hold as she gazed up at the stars lightening up the night.
"How do you find it?" Lucianna questioned her friend.
"They're really beautiful."
Lucianna smiles at her friend's compliment and replies with a 'thank you'.
"I was talking about the stars you know..." Lucille says seriously whist schooling her features to look reticent.
Lucianna frowns and turns away from her with a scoff. She tries not to react at the thought of someone overhearing their conversation.
"Just get in the car." She says as she brushes past her friend who was trying to control her laughter. The driver speeds off when they are both in and Lucille finally bursts into laughter.
