Chapter 26: The Truth part (2)

It was getting around dinner time and we all headed over to Killian's place. I walked with my soon to be step sister while dad and Evi walked behind. "Should we run over Nixie?" "Lets do it. Hehe." So we ran off and dad said, "Be careful you too. Sigh teenagers." "Hehe you will get used to it. I'm sorry you missed your babies firsts." "Oh its fine. You know I was thinking of having another one with you soon huh?" Orion said. "Hey now. We need to do it proper first. Get married before we have one." "Ok ok shall we then?" "Sigh. Do it properly first some other time and more romantically then I will think about it." Then she walked off towards the kids and left Orion behind. "haha. Women." Then he ran off toward her.

They finally made it to Killian's house. They walked through the door. "Oh you have your sons and wife with you." I said. "Yes let me introduce my wife Rillian. Rill for short. These are our twins Kiran." Kiran said "Hey" "And Lucan." "Hello there." "Hehe cute Kiran dark and Lucan Light." "I never thought of that but yeah." "Well nice to meet you all. My father told me all about you. My name is Akela." "That is a pretty name." said Kiran. He came over and kissed me on the hand. "Sorry but I'm engaged. It was nice of you though." "Aww to bad." "Hehe. I get married in another 5 months. I will be 18 years old. I have to hurry because I am sick. There is no cure that we know yet." "Aww I'm sorry Akela." Said Killian. "Its good. My fiancé Loki keeps trying to console me telling me we will find a way." We changed the subject about dad and Evi. What they are going to do. I just focused on my food. "Dad I'm going for a walk. I need some fresh air." "Ok honey." So I left. "Nixie why don't you go after her?" said dad. "Ok sure." So she went after her.

Nixie looked around for Akela and finally found her walking towards the mountains. She caught up with Akela. "Hey are you ok?" "Huh? Oh hi Nixie. Yeah I'm fine. Just needed some air. This sickness I have it starting to get to me. It was getting stuffy. Don't worry its nothing that Kiran did. I have to let him know that so he doesn't feel bad." "Hehe he's fine." "Well I still will I will head back right now. Cough cough." "Are you ok Akela?" "Yeah I will be just go ahead I will be right there." "OK then. Come back ok?" "Yeah. Thanks Nixie." Nixie ran off. "Cough cough. Ha…ha…Cough cough." She fell to her knees. Once she was done she cleaned the blood off her hands and ran off back over.

She finally got there and said, "Kiran. Its not your fault I needed air. My sickness just started having symptoms and I needed air." "Its all good. Are you ok now? You look pale." "I do?" "Dad do I look pale?" "Yeah you do. Evi lets head home early so she can get rest ok? Thanks for dinner Killian." "Yeah thanks for coming." So all of us left and I ended up coughing again. "Cough cough." I fell to my knees again. "Mom! Orion! Help!" They came running. Nixie had me in her arms. I was laying on the ground. "Oh no Akela!" "Dad. Help me please." He grabbed the handkerchief I had and saw blood. "Oh no. Its started. Her sickness is starting. We have to head home tomorrow. You still want to come?" "Yeah we will." I will get her. Dad picked me up and I cuddled up to him and fell asleep.

The next day I woke up on a trail. "Huh where am I? Dad?" "Oh your finally awake. Good. How are you feeling?" "A little better where is Evi and Nixie?" "Oh they are here too. They will be back. We are on our way back home." "I'm sorry dad. I made you loose your time with Evi." "Oh honey its ok. We have the rest of our lives together." "Hehe ok dad." Then the others showed up and ran over to me. "You're up!" said Nixie. "Yeah sorry to worry you." "As long as you are alive I don't care. How are you feeling?" "I'm feel fine for now." I tried to stand up and almost fell. Dad caught me. "Woah there Kiddo. You ok now?" "Yeah dad thanks." "OK should we head over now?" "Yeah lets go." Said Evi. So we walked on and dad followed in case I needed help.

We finally made it back home and dad said, "Ok first we are going to head over to Leo's place." We walked with dad and I went in. "I'm home. Aqua Leo Loki." Loki came running around the corner. He saw I was about to collapse and caught me. "I'm ok Loki." I said trying to sit back up myself. "No your not. Here sit down on the couch." "Hmm thanks Loki." Then dad Evi and Nixie came over as well. "Will she be ok?" said Nixie. "Yeah she will be fine." "This must be the woman you talked about Orion." "Oh yeah sorry. This is Evi and her daughter Nixie." "Nice to meet you. I'm Loki Akela's fiancé." "Oh so you're the fiancé nice to meet you." "Likewise." Then dad explained I had coughed up blood and slept for almost 12 hours. "I see. There isn't anyone I can thing of who can help in this situation. Luna might. Hey Orion can you get Leo to get ask Luna if she can find someone to help her. One who can help someone with a bunch of powers." "Wait dad. Ha.. Ha.. what about… Fang? … Can he help?" "He's still alive? Yes he might be able to tell something send a letter fast." "OK then I will do it." Then dad wrote a letter and sent it off.

A few days later the letter came back and it said,

Dear Orion

Good to know your alive after all. I will be on my way well it will get here before I can tell you but as soon as I give this letter to the bird. I will probably be there the next day. I will be bringing my assistant Echo and he is bringing his daughter. His son Drake is training Akela. Well see you soon.

"I see good. He will be here tomorrow. Next week is when the others will show. Sigh. I hope nothing happens when they are here." "Dad. I want to see mom." "Ok honey I will have Leo go get her." So dad left to tell him and came back after. "He's leaving now." "Loki can you take me to my room?" "Yeah hang on." He lifted me up princess style and laid me in my bed. "Oh to be young again." Said dad. "Hehe. Oh you." Said Evi.

A little bit later Luna and Onyx came by. "Where is she? I heard she was sick." Said mom. "She is in her room." Said dad. Mom ran into the room and saw her pale face. "Mom?" "Yes I'm here baby. Onyx is here too." "Daddy." "Yes I'm here." "I'm so scared. Will I make it?" "Yes honey you will." Said mom. "Luna you stay here will Akela I'm going out for a bit." "Daddy where are you going?" "I will be back." "Ok." I closed my eyes.

The next day the mr. Fang came and Kira saw him and followed him. He followed him to Leo's house. "Oh no. this is not good. It must be Akela." He rushed over to the house as well. "Is Akela ok?!" "Woah Kira. I just got here. I haven't looked at her yet." "Ok I will wait until you look at her."

He looked at her and said, well I can give her a shot for now. Then I will give her some medicine to slow down the process." He gave her the shot and she flinched a little. "Ok done. She needs to take these twice a day. Morning and before she goes to bed. Drake how is she in training?" "She's fine just needs to aim. That's all we got to so far. As for the moon power ask Luna." "She is still practicing but she is doing pretty good at controlling it." If she doesn't wake up tonight she will tomorrow morning." "Thank you Master Fang. Thank you so much." Said Orion. "Hmm. Daddy?" "Yes Akela we are both here." Said Onyx. "That's good that she is talking already she will be fine as long as she is talking. As for the powers I don't know what to tell you. I assume once she controls them it will put less stress on her body." "I will stay here one day and see how she is then we will leave ok?" "Yes sir thank you."

Finally time went on and I healed up fine and it was the time the others showed up. "Hey guys. Good to see you again!" "Hey you don't look so good Akela are you all right?" said Rinko. "Yeah I'll live just as simple sickness. Dad should be here soon. Oh here he is." "Well I'll be." Said Aries. "Look what the gods dragged in." "Haha yeah. Everyone this is Evi my girl. This is her daughter Nixie." Then they all congratulated him and were having a good time. I saw uncle and went over. "Hey uncle are you going to talk to him soon?" "Yeah lets wait until everyone calms down and I will pull him over. How you feeling kid?" "I'll be fine. Just a slight headache. Yes I took my pill this morning. Loki wouldn't let me refuse." "Good. He's a good man." "Yeah I know. He has kept me safe since I lived here. He gave me my space when I needed it."

Things finally calmed down and uncle pulled Rinko over to talk to him while I visited the others. I go to the library often on my own. When Loki is at work with uncle I go with Drake. Mostly things about what is happening to me so get some clue. Also hoping I can find something to help me with my sickness."

Then finally uncle brought Rinko over. Had him by the collar. "Ow Jeeze. Easy on the collar man." "Tell them what you did!" Yelled uncle. The others ran over seeing is what is going on. "OK ok. Yes I hired someone to hurt Orion ok? I told him to hurt him not kill him. He went over board. I did it because I blamed him for my brothers death. It was supposed to be me but he took my place. He told me he and Orion had a deal that is why I blamed him. Except he was never able to because he died. I was going to get my revenge and maybe get a few punches never thought he would actually try to kill you I swear Orion." "Its ok I understand why you did it. I don't blame you. After I was attacked I already told myself I wouldn't blame the man who did this. I have done many bad things for people to want me killed. Yes I do regret making that deal and pretended I thought it was you at the time. Don't worry about it I don't want to press charges." "Well we still need to take him down to the station." "Ok go ahead." "Akela what is it?" said Dad. "I have a strange feeling about him. I can't put my finger on it. It gives me the shivers when I see him. Its like I can read what he is thinking or why he wants to do something its creepy." I got up and went after uncle for a minute. "Wait a minute Uncle. I need to ask him something. Do you know anything that can cure my sickness? I am sick because I have more powers than my body can handle. How do I fix that?" "Oh is that why you are sick? The only think I can think of is to get stronger. Work out practice your powers everyday." "Thanks. You can go now." I ran back to the others.

"If anyone needs me I'll be in the forest training my powers." So she ran out Drake Loki Evi and Nixie followed.

I finally made it to the open space and tried to do ice on my fists instead this time fire came out. "Oh crap. I finally got dad's fire power. Probably from being pissed off. So I strated shooting my flames everywhere. "Oh crap. I did a little too much." I went over to try to put the fire out but I couldn't and I was trapped. I started coughing yelling for help. "Help! Dad! Mom! Cough cough!" I was about to pass out when somebody finally found me. I said "I'm here" and passed out. I woke up and heard a sound. Let me go. Loki is trapped its like my dream only he is not in a cell maybe he was trapped in a fire. I got off dad and ran into the fire again and tried to move and scratch at the logs. "Loki! This is my dream. You can't die. Dad is here he will try to move the logs ok? Just keep talking Loki Please." "I will be ok Akela don't worry I'm strong. I will make it through this. Cough cough!" "Dad hurry I don't know how long he can last!" "I got it honey. Almost there. Got it." The long moved and I helped Loki out. "Are you ok Loki?" "Yeah I will be fine." Dad put out the fire with his ice power. "Dad are you ok? You had to use a lot of power because of me." "Yeah I'm fine. Just not used to it yet." "OK Evi help dad and I will help Loki. Nixie you can come over and help me with Loki if you want." "Ok sure." So he let both of us help him inside.

"Were back everyone." Then everyone was worried. "Its all my fault. I was trying to train for my ice power and ended up just getting my fire power and it was a little too much Loki almost died and dad had to use his ice powers. Excuse me but I have to leave." So I ran off and didn't know Loki came after me.

I kept running not knowing where I was going to end up. Then I finally ended up in me and Loki's spot. 'why do I keep on ending up here when I want to run away. I just for some reason can't leave this place' "Damnit! Ahhh!" I yelled. "Ow. Hey that hurts my ears you know." Said Loki. "What the hell are you doing here? I almost got you killed just please for your safety leave me alone." "Nope never. We are to be married In a few months I do not want my wife to run off before I marry her. Plus you are still sick." "I don't care I was hoping to find somewhere there are not people and here is where I always end up. I don't know why?" "Maybe it's the gods telling you not to leave the place." "Do they want me to kill people do they like seeing me like this? I know I shouldn't be mad but its not only about the fire and almost killing you. I am mad because of what happened to dad and Rinko for even thinking to do something like that to dad. I don't care if dad forgave him I didn't.
