Chapter 28: Things getting back to normal

4 months have past. Next month is the month I get married. In the next month I turn 18 and the twins turn 2. Loki just turned 18 this month. Right now I am at home just chillin. The thing with my dad is all dealt with now things are back to normal. Still training with Dad and Drake, Loki officially works with uncle Kira now. I guess the only work there is to do now is help my auntie Aqua with the twins and train with drake and dad. Once that is settled I was thinking of finding work. Thought I don't know what I would be good at. Maybe I'll go into blacksmithing. I have always wanted to try that. Anyway lets get back to the story.

"No no no. Mr. Orion. Don't you dare pick that up." I accidently dropped something I was putting together for Loki and Orion was going to pick it up and put it in his mouth. "Got it." Then I put it in my pocket and picked him up. "You shouldn't be putting little things in your mouth you will choke little man." Then I put him down. "OK you two I have an idea lets go outside and run around a bit. Then when your Uncle Drake and Uncle Orion get here I can spend time with train with them. Leo I'm taking the twins outside and running around with them!" "Ok be careful!" "Yeah I know!" then I picked both kids up and went in the back yard. The kids had gotten a good grip on me now as long as I go slow. So I turned into a wolf so the kids can get on me. I stood up slowly Luna was in the front and Orion in the back they both held on to a saddle that someone made for us. Then I started walking slowly then a tad bit faster and that was the pace I kept up with. "Down now." Said Luna. So I stopped and got down then turned human. "OK ready to run now?" Then they started running and I caught Luna first then I just barely caught Orion. "Woah Orion you are fast. I guess you are a boy. Boys are usually faster than girls." Then we ran a little more and the kids were getting tired. I picked them up and they both fell asleep on me while I was walking up to the house. I carefully put them in the playpen and covered them up.

"I got them to sleep Uncle Leo." "Thanks for the help." "Yeah sure. Is Dad and Drake here yet?" "No not yet I am sure they are on their way now though." "Oh good." I laid on the grass waiting for them with my eyes closed. A little while later they showed up and saw Akela laying in the grass looking like she was asleep. "She ran with the twins and gave them a ride on her wolf back. She was resting before you got here. She is probably asleep now you can go ahead and wake her." Said Leo.

Dad went over and saw the sleeping Akela. He got down and shook her a bit. "Akela. Akela wake up. Its time to train." Said dad. "Hmm. Dad?" "Yes its me. Drake is here too." "Its that time already. I guess I'll get up." Dad and Drake helped me up. "Thanks guys." "So what should we start with first? Fire or ice Akela?" said dad. "Lets finish with ice then we will work on fire." "Ok sounds good." Dad was teaching me how to aim for a target so when I defend myself I can actually hit my target. "OK lets aim for that cave over there. See if you can hit an icicle there." "OK dad." I closed my eyes and ice formed around my fists and I aimed at the cave I was just slightly off. "You almost had it try again. Now hold your arm still." Then I tried again and hit it. "There you did it. Now try again." I did it again and again. "Very good. Now we will try freezing things next training." Said dad. He saw I was at my limit from training.

"Hey dad since we are here anyway can I stop by and see mom? Its almost time that Loki should be home and somebody should let him know I'm there." "OK yeah sure." Dad Evi and Nixie got their own place around here. Evi said it would be a good change for both of them.

"Oh dad tomorrow I am supposed to hang out with Nixie. I'm going to show her some spots that are pretty. Also dad. I saw the way she looked at Lucan. I notice these things. Lucan looks like he doesn't have a clue." "Haha you picked up on that have you?" said dad. "Yeah I have. So what is the story?" "Oh I've talk to him when I noticed as well. He knows how she feels. Don't worry he likes her too. He just has some things to settle before he can tell her anything. He's worried he won't accept her. Don't tell her about it ok?" "I won't dad. Its between them. I won't interfere. I am just curious though. How long will it take? All she ever talks about it Lucan did this he did that I like it when he does this I mean come on. Even I never talked about Loki like that. I mean he was my protector when I first moved here and we sort of fell in love gradually." Then I told my dad the things he told me and that is why I can talk the way I did and why I like stars. "Ok dad. Here is where I head the opposite direction. Tell Nixie I will see her tomorrow. OK?" "Yes I will see you later Akela." "Ok dad." Drake headed back to Leo's.

"Hey mom. Hey daddy." "Oh hey Akela." "Where is everyone? It feels so empty now that everyone is older its so quiet around the den." "Haha yeah. "Oh news. I won't say anything cause Azula wanted to tell you when she saw you." She is supposed to be home soon. "Ok cool. So mom dad did I tell you about the plan for the wedding?" Then I told them about the wolves staying there as I am human getting married and then the second wedding where we stay wolves. "That's a good Idea." Said Onyx. "Yeah I like that idea as well." Said mom. "I can't believe I'm getting married next month. I mean I know I'm cured now but we already made the date and I am not changing it." I said. "Ok we know. How is your training going Akela?" said daddy. "Oh I can aim now. I spend my whole training today hitting targets. Tomorrows training is freezing things. I'm hoping its as easy as getting ice around my fists." "Haha we hope so." Said daddy. "Then you can learn to control your fire." At night I train with mom when I can to practice my moon power. Right now we are learning to control the lighting of the moon. Then we will learn to do the phases. I don't get the point of having that power yet but mom said she would explain. "Ok for now everything for the wedding is taken care of. My dress should be arriving next month and Loki is supposed to be picking up his tux." "Our little baby is getting married Onyx." Said mom. "Oh mother. Father." I gave them a hug saying, "Its ok guys Its not like I'm going away we will just be having our own place around the village somewhere. We haven't decided if we are going to live around here or in the human village yet. Until then we are going to be staying with Auntie and uncle Leo." "Drake will be going home soon now that dad is back. Then we will live there temporarily." "Oh that's good. Then you will have your own place." Said mom. "Yeah I will."

Azula finally got home. "Azula! You're here! Come here sister. I missed you." I ran over and gave her a hug. "Woah now Akela. I heard what happened. You scared everyone half to death how are you feeling?" "Oh I'm fine now. See this necklace. It keeps my powers in check I can use one power at a time. I can't take it off myself. If I ever need it off someone has to take it off of me." "That's smart. Anyway I have some news." "Yeah mom said you had news what is it?" "OK ready for this?" I nodded. "I'm pregnant. I'm going to have a baby." "You What? Are you serious? Congrats Azula. OK you have to tell me everything. Mom I'm going to hang out with Azula." "OK have fun you two."

"OK Azula spill. Who is the man?" "OK your not going to believe it but its Gray." "What? You mean Gray Zanders?" "I know right? I can't believe it either. He must have known how I felt for a long time. He finally told me he loved me then he took me to his place and the first time I ended up pregnant." "Oh lucky you. I can't believe it I remember when you were Gray this gray that. Now I have to deal with it again with Nixie. Remember the twins I told you about? She like Lucan." "Aw jeeze I can understand a woman in love I'm just glad I got mine." "This is your first child huh?" "Yeah it is. I can't wait." "Oh you should. I helped babysit the twins a couple times 2 is a handful. Although I had Loki with me thanks to him I dealt with it." "Hehe well we won't know until the baby is born or I get bigger if I am having twins or not." "Lets hope its one for now. At least I'm getting married next month. Then I plan on getting pregnant like we planned." "Oh is that so. I can't wait then this little one will have a playmate." "Oh it already does. The twins even thought they will be 2 years older." "Haha yeah but if you get pregnant soon it will be closer to mines age." "Yeah your right. Hey where are you two plan on living? I want our kids to be like siblings." "Oh well for now he has his own place here but he want to try to see how it is living in the human world." "Ok then that helps me figure out where I want to live then. Loki should be home when I get there. Oh can I tell him about you being pregnant?" "Of course. It will probably want to make him hurry." Said Azula jokingly. "Haha very funny. Lucky duck. Ok well its getting late. I should head back. Don't want to keep my future hubby waiting. "Oh since you aren't married yet you can still be my maid of honor." "I would love too. Still as wolves right?" "Yes that's right." "OK cool." Then I said goodbye to Azula then my parents and went home.

"I'm back." I said. "I also have some news." Loki heard my voice and came over. "Oh did you have a good time at your parents house?" said Loki. "Yes and I have news. Good thing Leo and Aqua are here they can hear it too. Ok ready for this? Azula is pregnant. She is going to have a baby." "What? Are you serious? She is only 17 years old." "I know but guess who its with?" "Don't tell me its with that Gray guy." "Yep he finally confessed and she got pregnant the first try." "Well I both feel happy and sorry for her. She is still young." "Hey we will be only year older than her when we try. Plus they eventually plan on moving to the human village. They want to wait until the baby is born and they are a couple of years older. We want our kids to be like siblings so I was thinking since we will be staying at uncle Leo's guest house I was going to wait until they were ready to move and move somewhere nearby. What do you think?" "Well I don't care much for that Gray guy. I guess we can give it a shot. Only because its your sister otherwise I would say no." "Eee thank you thank you. I knew I loved you." "You just now figured that out. Jeeze what a late bloomer." "Hey I loved you since the beginning. I just fell in love all over again." "Is that so? I wonder what else I can do to make you fall in love over again with me." "OK OK love birds save it for the honeymoon." Said Leo. "Sorry uncle. Its all Loki's fault." "Hey you started it." "Hehe."

Loki and I went outside and I told him what I did today and talk about our wedding next month. "OK is our guest list all settled then Loki?" "I think so I got it right here. Take a look." I looked at the list and said, "Oh your inviting him after all?" "Well he is the father of Azula's unborn child after all I have to." "Aww your so sweet. Oh Drake will be staying here until a day after the wedding. He really Likes my sister Lexi. They are betrothed now I don't know if you knew yet. I think it was last year or the year before I can't remember. Anyway I wonder how they are going to spend time with eachother now that he is moving back." "Oh I knew. I talked to his mom and your parents about it. They will be staying with one of your dad's friends who has a girl a year younger than you. Aries I think his name was. She will be staying with them until they are old enough to marry." "They have 3 more years then they will be 18. Then they can marry." "Yep and 2 years before your sister moves. That would give them 1 more year to spend together before they can marry. I'm sure they would want to sooner than later so be prepared." "hehe. Yeah knowing Lexi I can picture it. Loki I just hope this peace can last. I hope it lasts from years to come." "Yeah me too. Lets just pray everything goes well before we get married and after." "Oh tomorrow I'm supposed to hang out with Nixie. I want to show her the pretty places around here. She just moved here after all. Then if ever Lucan and her get together they can go there since its romantic." "Haha. You are such a girl Akela. What happened to that tomboy who wanted me to do things for her?" "Well she grew up. She has a step sister now and soon a niece or nephew." "Yeah ok I get it."

It was getting late and it was finally dinner time. The little ones were banging their spoons on their high chairs. "Ok you two. That's enough." I took the spoons away cause it was annoying. Then I fed Orion and Loki fed Luna. Then we cleaned them up and put the in the play pen. Not long after they fell asleep. "Finally. I was about to go deaf after all that." "Haha and you say you want two or more kids." Said Loki. "Hey this is their kids I want kids of my own. At least I can control them." "Haha I would love to see this controlling." Said Loki. "Hmph. You don't think I can do it. Do you?" "I didn't say that? But you didn't deny it did you?" "No comment." "See that is you just agreeing with what I said. Just you watch I will be the best mom ever." "Oh I don't doubt that it's the controlling part I would love to see." Said Loki. "Fine I will show you once we have a child. In fact when we get married I want to adopt one." "Woah now lets not be to hasty." Said Loki. "I'm not saying this just a prove a point. I just want to start our family as soon as we get married." I said in a calmer tone. "We will see. Lets focus on getting married first then decide what we want to do ok?" "That sounds reasonable." I said.
