Chapter 30: News

We hung out for 2 days and 2 nights. Now it was finally time to go home. "Ok I'm all packed Loki." "So am I. Lets go." We packed a some souvenirs for our friends and family.

We finally made it back and stopped by Leo's first to drop our stuff off. "Hey were back." "Oh welcome back. How was your trip?" said Leo. "Oh it was great. We brought you guys some souvenir's. "We gave them each a picture of us. "Oh and of course we didn't forget the twins. Here is a dolly for Luna and a bear for Orion." They dropped their gifts and came running over to us. "I missed you both too." I said. Loki hugged them too. "We are going over to say hi to dad. We'll be back soon. Can we take the twins with us?" "Yeah sure. They need the exercise." Said Aqua. "Hehe. OK cool." I carried one and Loki carried the other. Finally we got to dad's house.

(Knock Knock) "We're back." I said. I have some souvenirs for everyone." I got a matching bracelet for Nixie. Pictures for mom and Evi. "Wow you two look good together. Did you give one to Aqua and Leo too?" said dad. "Yeah I did. We gave the twins a bear and doll. Luna brought her doll. "Aww cute doll." Said Nixie. "Yeah she brought it with her." "OK I'm going to see mom and Onyx now. See you all later." "OK have fun." "WE will."

"Mom dad we are back." I said. "Oh your back. How was the trip?" said mom. "It was fun. I have souvenirs for you dad Azula spirit and Knight." "I have Necklace especially made for dogs with our picture in it for dad. And a matching one for mom only its for humans. Where are my brothers and Azula?" "Oh Azula is resting. I will go get the boys." "OK I will go see Azula first."

"Azula are you awake?" "Hey your back! How was the trip?" "It was awesome. I have a picture of us in the mountains for you." "Oh let me see." "Wow you two do look good together. Thanks Akela." "Yeah sure." Then I went out and finally saw my brothers. "Since you like to read I got you a bookmark with a picture of us. For Spirit." I said. Then Loki said. "A metal for Knight except its not a metal a picture of us as well. Identical to dads. Also your names are engraved in the back so you don't get it confused with dads." "Welll thank you both. I'm glad you two had fun. Now we just have to wait for your kids to be born and we can relax." Joked knight." "Hey now." Said Loki. "Don't rush these things." "I know I was kidding." After we visited awhile we went back home to rest.

After we rested we started moving just our clothes, necessities like a hair brush and stuff and our bed over to the house. Everything else can stay since we lived in the guest house not far from here. Tomorrow we were going to go shopping for food to eat at our place.

It had been almost two weeks now. That's when I started feeling sick. I was at home and just gotten up when I felt really sick. I went to the bathroom and puked. "Uhh." LOKi must have heard me because he got up to rub my back. "You ok honey?" "I think so. I think I need to see the doctor. I could be pregnant after all." "OK should we call him here or should we walk?" "Lets walk the fresh air should help." "Ok sure." We got dressed and headed out.

"We need to see a doctor she isn't feeling well." "He will be right with you." "Thank you." We only had to wait 5 minutes since it was early then he came and got us. "Hello Akela. What seems to be the problem today?" "I think I might be pregnant." "Ok lets have a look with this machine here." He put some cold Gel on my stomach and said, "You sure are. About 2 weeks pregnant. Congratulations." "Thank you sir." "Ok You should make an appointment to come in with a woman doctor to explain what has to happen ok?" "Thank you sir." So we made the apt and left. "Wow. Pregnant huh? I'm going to be a dad." "I'm going to be a mommy." "Oh we should stop by mom and dad's first." "OK lets go. You sure you feel well enough?" "Yeah I can deal." "OK then."

"Mommy and daddy I have some news I want Azula and my brothers here too where are they?" "Oh I will get them." Said dad. Azula must have come out because she heard me. "What are you doing here Akela?" "I have some news. Just waiting on our brothers. Then they can tell everyone else." "Ok then." Finally my brothers showed. "OK everyone. Are you all sitting down?" "Yes we are." Said Azula. "Ok we are pregnant." "What?" Said Azula. "Are you serious?" "Yeah I went to the doc today I am 2 weeks pregnant." "Congrats sis! Now our kids can play together!" "Hehe yeah." "Congrats sis." Said Knight and Spirit. "Thanks guys."

"What do you hope the baby is?" Said Spirit. "Well It won't matter what the baby is we will be happy. Plus we plan on adopting as well." "Oh is that so?" said Dad. "Yeah If it's a girl I want her to have a big brother to protect her. If it's a boy he needs a little one to protect." "Hehe you two will have a happy family." Said Azula. "Oh and we just came here after the doc. You are the first ones we told." "Oh thank you for telling us. Now go see your father and let him know too ok?" "Yes mommy I will." "'Bye everyone. See you all later." "Bye sis get some rest." "I will do my best.

(Knock Knock) "Dad its me. Akela." "Oh come on in." Dad opened the door and let us in. "We have some news." Nixie and Evi were there too. We all sat down and I said. "We are going to have a baby. I just found out today I am 2 weeks pregnant." "What?" said the 3 of them in unison. "Really. That's great Akela." Said dad. "Yeah your going to be a grandpa." "Congrats to the both of you. How are you feeling?" said Evi. "A little tired I felt nauseous this morning. That's when we decided to check." Then we visited a bit and headed back home to tell the others.

"Leo and Aqua we are home. We also have news." We all sat on the couch and I had Loki say it this time. "We are going to have a baby. She is 2 weeks pregnant." Their mouths opened wide. "Careful those flies will get you auntie." I said. "Ha ha very funny. But are you serious about her being pregnant?" "Yes we found out today. She was feeling nauseous and threw up this morning. We took her to the doc and confirmed it." "Well congrats you two! I'm happy for you." "Hey little man guess what? You will have a little one to play with soon." "Baby?" "Yes a baby in there." "Yay!" He ran over to tell his sister and she came out too. She came out yelling "Yay Baby! Soon." "hehe how cute." "When I am at work she will be staying in this house. Can you guys help her out?" said Loki. "Yes of course. Good. Speaking of work I got to get ready." "OK thank you see you later." I said. "Yeah get some rest." "I will try." I went to my old room and got in bed. It was nice and warm in there.

I just got comfortable when someone knocked on the door. "Come in." Leo was there. "Here is some Tea. Its should help with your nausea. How are you feeling right now?" "Tired mostly." "If you need anything just let us know ok?" "Thanks Leo." "Sure." I drank my Tea then laid down. "Hey little one just don't give me a hard time in my belly ok? Hehe." I know the baby is just a tiny seed right now I just wanted to do something silly. Then I fell asleep.

I just woke up when I realized it was already dark outside. "Damn. I slept the day away. I better get up." Just as I was getting up someone came in. "Oh your up. How do you feel?" said Loki. My hubby came in. "I just woke up as you can tell. I never knew I could sleep this long." "Haha it wouldn't be the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last. Those times when you were really sick you slept for a day or two." "Oh is that so? Hmm." "You want something to eat? You haven't eaten since breakfast at your moms." "Yeah I hope I can stomach it." "OK lets go. But first where is the hair brush you look silly." "Is it really that bad?" "Yes." "In the bathroom." "Ok." He got the brush and started brushing my hair. It felt really nice. "That feels good Loki." "I'm glad it feels good. Just tell me what else I can do for you ok? You will be staying here until the first trimester is done ok?" "Yes boss." "That's right. As long as you are pregnant I'm the boss." "Hehe you wierdo. I miss the old Loki who barely talked to anyone." "Well he grew up and got a beatiuful wife." "Aww thanks." Then he gave me a quick kiss on the lips. "OK lets go." So we walked out to the dinner table. "Hey everyone. Sorry I slept all day." "Its ok. Your tired." "Ke ke ok?" said Luna. "Yes I'm fine. Just a little sleepy." The we sat down and ate our food. Thankfully I was able to stomach the food.

"Hey Loki want to go for a walk?" "Yeah sure let me help clean the little ones. There all done." Then He came over and we went for our walk. "I actually want 4 kids. 2 boys and 2 girls." "OK lets just first see how this pregnancy goes and if you go through it again we can have another one ok?" "Thank you honey. I know I want 2 blood ones and 2 adopted how does that sound?" "Sounds busy lets just get through the pregnancy before we talk about more kids ok?" "OK. Oh dear looks like winter will be coming soon. That means I will have a summer baby." "Yes that would be wonderful. The cold won't get to you. Although the heat could be bad though we will take extra precautions ok?" "Yes sir." "Good." We were heading back. We didn't stop anywhere specific just to walk off what we ate.

We got home I was told to get some more rest. I wasn't able to sleep because I slept all day. I just read some books until I was tired. Loki checked on me before he went into his old room to sleep.

I complained not knowing how loud I was. "Ahh I just can't do this." Then Loki came in. "Are you ok honey?" "Oh sorry. I didn't know I was loud. I just can't sleep no matter what I do. I think I need to bring my bed into your room or the other way around." "Just come join me in my bed its big enough for two." "OK thanks." I walked over to Loki's room and laid in his bed with him. I snuggled up to him and was so comfortable I fell asleep. Loki chuckled. "I knew you were tired. You just needed me. Its ok I need you too. I have trouble sleeping when your not there too." Then he closed his eyes and slept too.

Morning came and it was the weekend. "Hmm. Loki? Where are you going? It's the weekend." "Don't worry I'm going to see who is in the kitchen. You should get some more rest." "OK." I laid back down and closed my eyes.

"Its breakfast time Akela. Wake up." "Hmm. 5 more minutes." "Come on you have to feed the baby in your tummy." "Hehe ok ok Loki. I'm coming." "Lets do your hair real quick." He got his brush and brushed her hair. "There. Done. Lets go now." We went to the table and ate our breakfast. "Since it's the weekend Loki what should we do?" "Hmm. I don't know I will figure something out. Its getting to cold to go to the park." "Oh I know do you want to visit your mom or dad?" "Oh that's right. Thank you for reminding me. I told Nixie would come over today. Can we do that?" "Sure that's fine." "Ok I will go get ready." "Slowly now remember you got a baby in there." "Yeah I know worrywart." I went in my room got ready and came out. "OK lets go." "Are you warm enough in that?" "Yeah why wouldn't I be?" "Hang on let me get something." He went in his room for a few minutes and came out. "Here wear this it will keep you a little warmer." "Oh thank you." "Jeeze woman. Lets go."

We got to dad's. "Hello Dad. Hi Evi where is Nixie?" "She's in her room." Said Evi. "Oh thanks." So I went in her room while Loki stayed to talk with the two. "Hey Nixi." "Oh hey you're here! I didn't think you would come thinking it's the weekend he has off. You would spend it with him." "Oh I still will. I wanted to keep my promise to spend some time with you." "Ok cool." Then we talked about this and about that. Then finally it was time for me to leave to spend time with Loki.

"Ok Loki. Lets go. Bye dad and Evi." "Bye Akela. See you later." So me and Loki just walked and talked with no destination in mind if we saw a stall one of us thought was interesting we stopped to check it out. We bought stuff we wanted. "Oh when Evi's shop opens you should totally check it out. We can go together." "Ok sure. Sounds good. Although isn't it open and closed on work days?" "Yeah but I can have dad open it up to have you check it out." "Uh ok next time we see him we will ask." "OK cool. So where are we going now?" "To our special place. We will sit on the bench this time." "OK sounds good."

We sat down and talked a bit then I heard a sound. It was coming from the ruins. "Loki hear that?" "Yeah I'll go check it out. You stay here." "OK Loki."
