The outside world was something else. It was unreal, the entire place looked and felt like a gate. The air was tinted blue like you were looking into a sea. The amount of magical power was almost sickening. It was so rich and heavy that I could hardly breathe. There were armies of monsters, none were above C-rank but the endless onslaught was so tiring. The atmosphere made it insanely difficult to regain energy. As a result I gained a lot of Exp and grew to level fifty. I poured my points into health, I was desperately trying to get powerful enough to stand in front of that giant, to stand tall in the face of anything, to be strong enough to stand at the top. Somehow we found the strength to fight through the wilds and arrive at the capital. As soon as we entered the bubble we dropped to the ground. It had been a week under those conditions. My legs felt like they would crumble and my lungs were on fire.
"Let's never do that again."
"That's fine with me. I think I could die." She then laughed. Why did hearing that make me so happy? Where have I felt this before? And why would I forget.
We must have lain on the ground for about an hour. I helped her up and we brushed ourselves off. Dust and dirt covered our clothes. They were ripped and torn.
"Take off your clothes" I have enough materials to repair them. Her face turned bright red.
"What? Rhy what do you mean?"
"No you idiotic human, not like that just so I can repair them you fool."
"Still you really think doing that here is appropriate."
"You make a good point. I wonder if we can find an inn to stay in."
"Well how much money do you have because I don't have much. We might have to farm a few gates first."
"Hmm let's see about 300roh"
"What!!!!!!!!!!"
"Is that not enough? Man, this capital place is really pricey."
"N… no it's just that umm well that's a lot of money and um I've never seen that much money so I was just a little surprised when one possession you had that much."
"Well you seem to have more knowledge of this world and its people so why don't you hang onto all of our money from now on?"
"Are you serious? That's a lot of money, are you sure you don't have something you want?"
"Well I am your summon after all, it would look bad for you human if your 'servant' was richer than you and plus I'll just ask if I need money."
I clicked a button on my inventory and a huge bag of silver coins dropped into my hand. I handed it to her and she grabbed it carefully, never taking her eyes off me. She looked scared or concerned maybe.
We walked into the inn. It was made of wood and looked dusty. A small man ran through the back door to the desk. He had grey hair and round glasses.
"Yes? Hello, how may I help you two today."
"Yes we'd like one room please."
"Just um one yes we have that do you want a double bed or two singles?"
"Just one single bed please."
"Well then where will the gentleman sleep?"
"On the floor."
"And you're ok with this sir"
"Oh he doesn't speak, he's a summon."
"Ah yes we have a cupboard we can put it in if you would rather?" Every time. EVERY SINGLE TIME! does this entire would have some sort of pact to call all summons "it"? She looked back at me. My hands were making fists again.
"No, that won't be necessary. He is fine with the floor, thank you."
"Very well Your room is number eight please enjoy and if you have any questions feel free to ask."
"Actually do you know if there are any other adventurers staying here, preferably an A-rank."
"Oh actually now that you mention it there was a rather spirited young gentleman that arrived the other day. He asked me to tell any adventurers to fight him in the arena a few blocks away. So I suggest you start there but other than that I don't think there is but if any arrive I will most assuredly point them your way."
"Thank you sir." She bowed and we walked up the stairs. She was nothing like she was around me. She is so polite, so why isn't she like that with me? Why is she the arrogant child around me?
We walked into a small room with a single bed tucked into the corner and a small window that looked out on the town.

The next day after a comfortable sleep on the floor and fixing our clothes. We walked to the arena that the old man had described. In the center was a young man with orange spiky hair and a spear in front of him was a man holding a sword. The two rushed at each other. The young man diving under the man, his spear jabbing up into the other guy's stomach as he was pushed out of the arena, thudding into the pavement.
"Anyone else." He was breathing heavily and sweating, I raised my hand and walked forward.
"Me, I guess but let's make this interesting."
"Wow brave, what are you insinuating because for me the fight is enough so I don't really want anything."
"Well I've met people like you so I don't doubt it but sadly I have an ulterior motive for coming here. So let's just say the winner gets to give the loser one command that they must follow given that it's humanly possible. That's cool?"
"Wow you've got nerves of steel I could ask you to do anything huh well that is quite interesting but I could ask you to take your own life?"
"That's quite a sinister way of looking at it but I suppose but to clarify I don't intend to do that when I win."
"When? You understand I am an A-ranked adventurer. What rank are you?"
"Oh me? I'm a B-rank but I was counting on you being A-rank."
"Wow, now I'm curious about your confidence, very well I accept your agreement my name is Avon."
"I am Rhy."
"So then Rhy let us fight."
He was smiling as he lowered his body, his spear sticking out behind him following his arm. His body looked like it was glowing as he got ready to fight.
