Alert: First Quest Completed "My new life"

'Alert: Hey'

In front of me sat a man, he was smiling.

"Hey Rhy, I'm Hideaki Isse i've been waiting to meet you for quite some time"

"Who are you? And how do you know my name? And what happened to the fight? Did I lose? Am I dead?"

"Woah woah so many questions, no you're not dead this is a lets call it a dimension for now that I created to house the system. I am Hideaki. Some know me as the first SSS rank mage but I'm not so sure about that. I'm more interested in you."

"You? I thought you died."

"Well yes if you want to get technical I am dead but I live on through the system."

"Wait the system, how do you know that? What's going on I have to get back to Chaaya she's in danger,"

"Slow down I appreciate the enthusiasm but this place has a different time."

"So how come you're alive in "This place" and what's the system anyway?"

"See, you've probably been told about how I died. About how I put all of my magical power and life force into the bubbles but I'm ashamed to say that isn't the case. you see I came from your world, Earth. I lived maybe a few years before you on the other side of the world, Japan to be precise. Again like you, I hated humans. I hated every last one of them with a burning rage I was screwed over and my ideas were stolen. That is until I came here. It was like a dream.

We are part of a line of humans who have saved this world time and time again in an endless war against the demon lord and his monster army. But we are never strong enough and always end up sealing him and his army for about fifty years and then summoning another to save the world. It was a temporary fix. But I chose to be a coward, I shut myself away studying magic as hard as I could, all the skills in the system are mine You see. A culmination of years of study. Then I chose to fight every monster and then seal everything in the gates, and form the bubbles. I altered everyone's memories to make them think they were always at peace. and left this world after giving everything I had to protect them. Well almost, you see I didn't want all my work to go to waste, selfish right? so I left all my spells with my consciousness in this dimension and started to form the system you use. In my past life I was a game designer so it wasn't too difficult.

Then I looked for the strongest magical signal I could in your world (That's where I found you Rhy. I saw your memories and I saw you jump.) when I discovered the seal on the demon lord's gate weakening I summoned you, or tried to, there was a little mishap and you ended up getting summoned by that Chaaya girl.

Your rage was far greater than anything I'd seen before, and that's also when a bug entered my system, the demon path. I tried to fight it back as hard as I could but in the end I failed. I'm sorry for that Rhy.

But another skill entered that I didn't expect. That skill is more powerful than anything I've ever seen (again), and I saw it's power grow with each day.

So rhy whilst my power may have failed you this power won't it's time for me to leave everything to you, I'm truly sorry for what I've done thrusting you in the middle of this war, I hope your anger towards will vanish one day and I hope you won't give up on this world. I hope you'll help it.

Just one more thing before an old man goes, my old student Ciaus makes sure he's ok for me will you."

And with that he disappeared into the void.

'Alert: system reconfigured - Rhy is now system admin.'

I was back in the real world staring into the eyes of the demon lord, his sword looming over me.

'Alert: skill activated - "____" '

'Alert: skill found'

'Alert: skill redefined.'

'Alert: true skill activated - "True love's light" '

My power overflowed like a light rushing out of my body. I surged with pressure as I stood up, the ground shattering under my feet as I stood up towering over the demon.

"No….. no this can't be I thought that was your ultimate form how do you keep getting stronger?"

My limits broke and my sword flew to my hand as I gripped the handle. My heart was still. The system was mine now.

"No, I'm the demon lord. I can't lose to some humans."

We both drew our swords to our waists and prepared for the final clash. His sword grew coated in shadows and darkness. My arms burnt as I gripped my sword, the power in my body breaking free with every movement, my wounds were bursting. The pain was unimaginable as I broke through every barrier, every wall. I screamed my lungs going raw as I charged forward my sword glowing with a brilliant white light towering into the sky. I ran forward swinging my sword down at his, the light pushing through the darkness.

'Alert: skill developed - "Blinding light" '

My sword crushed through his breaking the demons armour and shattering his sword.

"NO! I WON'T ACCEPT THIS!!!!!!!!!!"

His body lowered in a familiar manner he started to snarl and growl his body hunched as he shot forward his red skin blurring in the wind. I stepped forward, the ground cracking underneath me, the square was almost reduced to rubble as I unleashed my last attack.

'Alert: skill developed - "Photon slash" '

A white light fell out of my sword as I slashed, shooting out and hitting the monster in front of me. His body disintegrated in the intense light. I dropped to the ground too, my body exhausted and bleeding. I could hardly breathe. My chest felt tight.

"RHY? RHY! What the hell were you thinking, you idiot!"

'Alert: master Chaaya used - "Heal" '

'Alert: passive skill activated - "Replenish" cool down 1 hour'

I was alive, somehow. I didn't feel it.

'Alert: raid has been defeated, all monsters will now disappear.'

'Alert: Rhy has reached level 200 and gained rewards'

"I'm alive? Wasn't expecting that."

"You damned idiot, how dare you think of dying and leaving me all alone."

She was crying and squeezing me so tightly I thought I'd pop. her arms wrapped around me as tears flowed from her eyes.

"I'm sorry."

"I should think so too,"

"Hey, did you mean it?"

"Did I mean what? Oh that, of course."

I feel so happy, half dead but happy. My body was bri=uised and battered. I'm lucky to be alive. And I'm lucky to be here.

Thank you Hideaki. Thank you so much. I won't give up on this world, and my hatred for humans in this moment is gone. I feel so warm, so bright. I don't think I've ever felt this before. I want this moment to last forever.

"It killed it! We're saved!"

Haha some things never change I guess.

"We're not going to die!"

"Hey isn't that the SS-rank summoner Chaaya."

"Is there a guild official she should be the next SSS-rank"

"I am! Let me get the paperwork"

"I suppose you're getting your dream after all."

"I couldn't have done it without you, thank you Rhy."

After a few minutes it was official, we made it. Somehow. I hope I get to meet Avon again.

I picked her up unfolding my wings as I flew into the sky holding her.

"I told you I'd take you flying one day."

"You already did, but I like this much more, you know, being chased by angry demons."

The sun began to set as we laughed. Then bringing her close, We kissed.
