7. Take Me For A Walk

"That's treating your wound first," Clarissa exclaimed.

"No need, this wound has been treated at home. Come on, take me for a walk while I'm here," said Gerry.

"Where do you want to go?" Clarissa asked, as time went on she became absorbed in Gerry's aura of joy, her brother rarely came here, so she had to take him on trips to famous places in Singapore.

"I'm going to ... to Mar .. Marlina Park," said Gerry.

Clarissa squinted her eyes never heard in Singapore there is a place called Marlina Park. Suddenly Clarissa burst out laughing, "What is Marlina Park? Why don't you just call Maryam, Marshanda," Clarissa said in between laughs.

"Oh, I was wrong, right? So what?" Gerry even smirked at the horse.

"Marlion Park, Gerry. Not Marlina," Clarissa was still chuckling while slapping her sister's shoulder.

"That's what I mean. Come on, let's go there now," said Gerry.

"Are you crazy? Can not now. The distance from here to Marlion Park is quite far if it's late at night like this, it's useless because it will only be there for a while. If you want to go there tomorrow, start early," said Clarissa.

"Then where are we going?"

"Let's just go to Orchard Road. Close from here, just walk," Clarissa answered.

"What place is that?"

"Well, you'll find out later. It must be fun, but I want to take a shower first," Clarissa immediately ran into her room.

Around seven o'clock in the evening, Gerry was ready in black jeans and a red hoodie jacket with a black pattern, the man was sitting in the living room waiting for his sister.

"Ris, it's been a while isn't it?" asked Gerry with a little shout.

"Ya, just wait a moment. Be patient," Clarissa answered from inside her room.

"Twenty minutes ago he also answered like it, 'yes, in a minute," Gerry imitated his sister's speech as a form of a sneer in a low tone so that Clarissa couldn't hear the sneer he was saying.

"I mean if you're still long, I'd better sleep first, okay? Seems like enough to sleep an hour or two," Gerry said.

"Ugh. Don't sleep, if you sleep like a buffalo, it's very difficult to wake him up," Clarissa replied, her voice no less harsh.

"Hurry up, Ris, don't take too long," Gerry grumbled.

While waiting for his sister to dress up, Gerry was finally enjoying himself playing online games.

After a few minutes, Clarissa just walked out of her room. The girl was wearing shorts with a sweater, while she let her hair down just like that.

"Gerry, let's go," said Clarissa.

"Yeah, just a minute, it's fun to play," said Gerry, he was still busy playing his game.

"Ugh, Gerry. I was just yelling at me to hurry up, now I'm busy playing games myself." Clarissa snorted in disgust as she crossed her arms right in front of her sister.

"Yeah, brat. Soon this. Come on, beat it, ah damn it," replied Gerry without turning his head, the young man was engrossed in himself.

Annoyed, Clarissa was forced to take her sister's cellphone without any further warning.

"If you keep playing the game, when do you leave? We'll be able to spend the night," Clarissa snapped, hiding her sister's cell phone behind her back.

"Oh, you're so sorry. Give me back my cellphone, that's when I win," shouted Gerry while trying to take his cellphone from Clarissa's hands.

"I don't want to and I won't give it," Clarissa argued. "Well, if you just want to play games, I won't want to take you for a walk anywhere," now the girl gave her ultimatum instead.

"Uh, don't. Okay, okay. Let's go now. Just now, you who made old makeup told me to be patient, now you are impatient. girls always want to win on their own," Gerry immediately got up from his seat, although he was still a little grouchy.

Because Gerry rarely visits here, so he doesn't know much about this lion country. If Clarissa gets angry and doesn't want to accompany her around, it means that all her plans to be refreshed here have failed.

"Remember, girls are always right," Clarissa said with a satisfied smile on her lips.

"Yeah, it's up to you. Let's go now," Gerry walked ahead of Clarissa, he didn't want to bother with his little sister's chatter.

"Grandma, let's go first, okay?" Clarissa shouted, they didn't have time to say goodbye to her grandmother.

"Yeah, be careful okay. Don't come home too late," answered Carolin from inside the room.

"Ready, Grandma," Clarissa and Gerry said at the same time.

They both took the elevator down because the apartment was on the seventh floor. It didn't take them long to reach the lobby. There they met a security guard who was already very familiar with Clarissa.

"Hi, Clarissa," said the male security guard.

"Hello, Josh," Clarissa greeted him back. In most countries, people prefer to be called by name without any frills. In contrast to Indonesia, which must only use the word greeting as a sign of respect.

"Is he your boyfriend?" asked Josh.

Clarissa shook her head quickly, "Oh, no isn't. But he is my brother," Clarissa replied with a sweet smile.

Meanwhile, Gerry could only slightly guess what they were talking about. He wasn't very fluent in English, that's why it would be very inconvenient for him to travel alone.

"I think, he is your boyfriend," Josh smiled, nodding because he had misunderstood.

"I see, no problem. Okay, see you, Josh," Clarissa waved her hand as she walked back.

This isn't the first time people have thought that they were lovers. Because they both look really good together.

"Eh, what did the security guard say?" asked Gerry.

"Yeh, no wonder you're just smiling, apparently you don't understand what I was talking about with the security guard," instead of answering Clarissa, she mocked her sister.

"I can't speak English very well,"

"That's why you have to study. Earlier, the security guard thought that you were my girlfriend. Then I will answer if you are my brother," said Clarissa.

Gerry chuckled, "The feeling, not in Indonesia, not here, many people think we are dating. Whereas how could I want to have a short boyfriend like you, "sneered Gerry.

"It's fine, I also don't want to have a slow girlfriend like Lo," Clarissa replied. The two of them continued to chat and joke around while walking hand in hand.

"What are we going to wear there?" asked Gerry.

"Walking, quite close, will arrive soon," answered Clarissa.

"Oh okay. Btw, how was your internship, smooth?" asked Gerry.
