11. What's Wrong With You?

Clarissa entered her room with a broken heart. He quickly locked the door and threw himself on the pillow. Today is the unluckiest day of his life in Singapore. Clarissa's head seemed to be about to burst any minute because of the many problems she had to deal with today.

He had also turned off his cell phone since he came home from the shop earlier, Clarissa's breath was panting because she was holding back the emotions that had been bubbling up inside her, she didn't even feel hungry anymore for Clarissa. Her annoyance was more domineering, the girl was hitting the pillow to vent all her annoyance.

"I hate, I hate all of this. I hate you, why did you have to move here, why do you always have to follow me," Clarissa shouted as she continued to beat the mattress and pillows.

In the past, Johan had indeed told Clarissa that his father had a branch company in Singapore when the girl told him that she originally lived in the land of the lions. It was her fault, why did Clarissa run and hide in a place that had something to do with the man. Clarissa should have realized that one day Johan would come to visit her father's office. And all those nightmares have now come true.

"Looks like I have to get out of here. Instead of me having to always be stuck in the past, later the wound in my heart will never heal if I'm here. Moreover, starting tomorrow I have to have an internship at the fuckboy's office, and surely his wife also lives there, there's no way I could have met him at the Orchard if he didn't live nearby. I don't want any more flashbacks, I don't want to be hurt again, I just don't want to," Clarissa moaned, shaking her head quickly.

Then without thinking he immediately went out and approached his grandmother who was eating with Gerry in the kitchen.

"Hey, Riss. Come eat," said Carolin.

"Are you healed? You were angry, it wasn't clear," said Gerry.

"Hush, don't talk like that," Carolin glared at her grandson.

But Clarissa didn't respond, she just kept quiet and sat down at the dining table.

"What is it, honey? Why are you still frowning like that?" asked Caroline.

Clarissa scratched her head, confused about where to start this conversation because her grandmother would be very surprised to find out that she wanted to move out of here.

"Grandma…" Clarissa muttered.

"Why? You're like someone who wants to talk but seems so hard. What is it? Just tell me, usually whenever you have any problem you always tell me, right?" Carolin asked, from her behavior Carolin could already guess that something was bothering her granddaughter's heart.

"So this is it, actually… actually… er, I don't mean I want to apologize first. I'm so sorry, Grandma. If what I want to say this will make Grandma shocked or maybe even sad," Clarissa answered starting the conversation while twisting her fingers which she placed on the dining table.

"Why, Riss? What's your problem? Why does it seem so heavy?" asked Gerry who was worried about the expression on his beloved sister's face.

"Yeah, what's the matter, honey? Don't worry grandma anymore," Carolin chimed in, holding Clarissa's hand.

"Grandma, I have the urge to move out of here," Clarissa explained.

Suddenly Gerry and Carolin stared, "What? Move?" they both said at the same time.

Clarissa nodded weakly, "Yes, I want to move out of here," the girl replied.

"But why? Do I have something wrong with you? Is there anything that makes you uncomfortable? Honey, you've lived with me since you were little, so if there's a problem we can talk about it first, you don't have to move right away like this. What's the problem, honey?" asked Carolin very anxiously, she gripped Clarissa's hand tighter.

After all, Clarissa was his favorite granddaughter. He loved Clarissa more than Gerry even once because Clarissa had lived with him since childhood so Clarissa was like his only child. Clarissa has become a part of her life, where Carolin tells stories, complains, and who always takes care of her. No matter what happened he would never allow Clarissa to move from here.

"Rissa, are you crazy? Why do you want to move from here? Hah, what is missing from Grandma to make you want to move. Even if I had the opportunity like you, I would like to live here with Grandma instead of having to live with Daddy in Indonesia," snapped Gerry. He didn't understand his sister's way of thinking.

"Okay, then let's just change positions, I'm the one who moved to Indonesia and you're the one accompanying Grandma here," said Clarissa.

"CLARISSA!" Carolin snapped which managed to make Clarissa and Gerry both gasped.

"What's wrong with you? What did I do wrong with you? If I did wrong with you, I apologize. What's lacking in me? Tell me now, I will fulfill everything you want. Do you have the heart to me who has taken care of you since childhood? You have become my soul mate for me, the hardest five years I have ever felt apart from losing my husband was when you lived in Indonesia and left me here alone," said Carolin in a high-pitched voice that made her gasp for breath because she was angry, even Carolin had tears in her eyes.

"No, Grandma. Don't say it like that. Grandma didn't do anything wrong to me at all, Grandma was the best grandmother for me. So far Grandma has taken good care of me, I've never lacked anything. I'm so proud of you, I love you so much, Grandma," Clarissa said while hugging her grandmother who was crying so hard. Clarissa's tears were unstoppable.

"Then why do you want to move, Dia? It's really weird that you suddenly say something like that. You're making Grandma sad, right? If you want to talk like that, you should think about it first. Not only have you hurt Grandma's feelings, but also don't you think that if you move to Indonesia again, what about your studies? Remember, you are already an internship, next semester you will be busy making thesis proposals. If you move, then when do you graduate? When is graduation? You have to think about that too, don't just think about your ego," Gerry slightly advised his sister who had gone too far.
