You'll never believe this!
Not in a million years!
I thought this wasn't gonna happen. My smart-wanna-be-pancreas pretended that all romance novels and movies were cliche and a lie we all wanna believe that had ntn to do with reality so I really didn't see this comin.
So we were in a zoom class- the one I said will be the death of me...and I was sitting here watching the bright kids and how they were interacting with the teacher and all...when the teacher dropped the bomb and said we gotta do group works the entire semester.
So...I was nervous and all and yet I had this stupid pride that makes me NOT go and ask for help when I really neede it. I decided to pray instead 😂😂😂. The next thing you know...pop goes my inbox and taddaaa!
It was one of the smart kids asking me if I had a group.
Then am suddenly in a group chat and even more nervous.
I got a thing for smart guys you see. I liked to have them around to see what their smart heads do so I can beat them to it one day.
I fancied them!
This guy sending me the text(let's call him jack)was like one of the big fish of the CS classes.
He is tall, (i judged that by the length of his face on zoom), and he wore glasses(am sucker for those again- don't judge my taste, mind your own geez!) and was smart.
I, knowing that I liked him, was sure as hell to stay clear off his path- online and off...,
because I like to like and love from afar.
Because I am an attachment freak.
Did that stop me from giggling when I saw his request?
No!
Did I get off my desk and did a lil happy dance around the room before accepting the request?
Absolutely!
Did I try to sound excited ?
nahhhhh. Guards up all the way up to my neck!...or so I thought!
...I didn't say hi to them till I was introduced...and he introduced me as a CS major!
and I, (pay attention here!) said I was from the Mechanical Engineering major actually....ABSOLUTELY having forgotten that that actually was a freaking 3 months ago!
But the other girl in the group was cool and she just rolled with with it!
Ahh the grace with which she rolled off the subject!
So it dawned upon me that he might have thought that I did CS in undergrad and was good at programming ...so. ..it must have been a mistake...right?
