Chapter 29: A New Light Was Born.

"What if I was never human in the first place?"

Hearing those words, everyone could only stare. 'He isn't human?! No, that can't be true. We race check everyone. Theres no possible way for him to slip pass our system like that..' Caroline slowly put her hand out and a scythe appeared.

'Not human? Haruto isn't human?' Reina unsheathed her sword. 'That only means one thing..' They both started walking towards Haruto.

'He's A Monster.'

Humans have the default thought of them being superior to others. They also have the default thought to think that anything other then humans are threats. It was truly idiotic.

I stepped up to the pond while hearing murmurs all around me. 'They didn't even consider if I was joking or not..' I can't keep these people by my side if this is how they act around things they consider dangerous.

Actually, their response was perfect. If I knew something was dangerous then I would immediately try and attack it. Or run away. Yeah, run away.

What I'm getting by however is the fact that they knew me for so long, and yet they would attack me at first sight like this.

As I was thinking that, I felt something come down on me. In the next moment, I heard the sound of metal clashing, making me look out the corner of my eye. "Reina? What the hell do you think your doing?"

Reina was blocking Caroline from striking me with her own sword. "Princess. Please don't attack him like this. We can't even confirm if he's telling the truth or not.." Reina reviewed over what he said as she was slowly walking to him.

'He would be a monster, but..' She thought back to the time they spent together. 'He's still my friend and commander.' Going off of that, she knew that Caroline would still try and attack him, so she decided to defend him.

"He said it himself Reina. He's not even human." Caroline increased her force and I slowly got up. "Caroline. Look around you." She stared intently at me, never heading my words. "These people...You dont see them trying to attack me do you?"

Over the past two weeks, I've made bonds with these people. Whether it was helping them develope their skills or even with making dinner, I would always try and help. I didn't try to manipulate them like this, as I didn't really expect myself to reveal myself like this.

"I..Don't care!" She kicked reina in the side and charged down on me. "This.." I caught her scythe. "Won't work on me anymore.." Her eyes widened at the scene in front of her. 'How?! He's never been able to react!'

I've gained way more battle experience over the last couple of weeks. I could easily react to a slow move like that. "Calm down.." I pushed her scythe back, making her fall in the process. "This..Changes nothing. I'm still your commander and I'm still your slave. Am I right?"

Larius then yawned out with slight tears in his eyes. "Big brother?~" He rubbed his eyes and slowly looked up at me. "The battle between Good and Darkness...has started."

My whole being flinched at his words. "The light dragon...has been awoken." He held me tighter slightly and I pulled him into my chest. "The light dragon?..." That was the only thing that could stop me. When both of us get to our full potential, we would be equal, or stronger then the other, depending who's more in depth with their powers.

'Damn it! Who is it? Is it one of the 4 heros?' I started helping Reina up while in thought. 'I have to figure out who it is..' I then let go of her hand and turned around to the huge dome.

'I need to start now..' I bit my nails.

'I'll establish a kingdom of my own. Bring the races together, then leave this rock. I'll search the multiverse with these powers of mine until I find that bastard who sent me to this place. After I'm done killing her, I'll go back to earth, and live my life with Mother and Father again. I might bring Mother and sister back with me too and we can all live happily together.'

I'm getting stressed for nothing. I won't be here for that long.

"Hey." Someone walked up to me. He had dirty blonde hair and yellow eye. He was atleast in his twenties. "So your a monster huh?" He stared at me and I nodded. "What monster are you exactly?" He asked a question that perked everyone's ears up.

"I'm.." I stared at them.

"I'm a dryad."

They all kept staring at me. "That's it?! Smh, I knew we were worried for nothin!" He patted my shoulders while laughing.

Dryad are a friendly race. They don't mess with humans, so humans don't consider us a threat. "Smh. You don't even look like one. Your sister looks more like one then you do." Caroline slowly got up while dusting her clothes off.

"Yeah, I know." I then walked over to a carrage and went into the back of it. I saw crates filled with nothing but blueprints. 'Here we go..' I got a specific blue print and put it in my inventory.

I then jumped out the back and went to another one. This time, it had trees in rows and columns lying there. 'This pond will be our water source. I checked it out, and noticed that it goes down very deep. I just need to purify it, and luckily we have someone who could do that..'

When I was by the pond, I put my hand into the water and made chains that kept extended. After about 20 seconds, I felt it hit something. '80 feet huh?' is what I thought as I pulled my chains back up.

"Reina. We'll be setting up over there!" I shouted and pointed past the pond. She looked to where I was pointing and noticed that the area still had shade so she agreed. I hopped out the back of the carrage and looked at 3 knights.

"You 3. Come here." They immediately came over to me and kneeled. ""What can we do for you sir?!"" I slightly smiled when I noticed that they still had that same respect for me. "I want you and some others to build a river out of that. Do you understand?"

I walked away before hearing their answer. What I said was vague, but they have to learn how to accomplish things through trial and error.

Anyways, I'll wait for them to start, and then tell them the actual plan which is to let this this pond be our river and flow throughout the city. I'll make it so that this pond will be able to to supply water for baths and stuff like that.

I then looked back and saw all the knights running around. I could only smile at the clumsy scene. 'Wait. Maybe I should do that instead.'

I was thinking about making a gate like normal with a small bridge leading into the city. I would then have the water go under the bridge and around the entire city making use seem like an island.

Anyways, under the bridge and under the water, I could make pipes that lead into the city, then eventually into houses.

Yeah, I like that plan better. Having a river inside the city might be bad, as people might pollute. I can't have dirty water going into homes and stuff like that, now can I?

After some more thought, I decided to go with that plan. I would create small pipes under the river. Those pipes will have purifying spells in them, making the water clean, and then those pipes will connect to a series of more pipes that are underground the city.

I don't know if this plan is perfect, but I see no flaws. Maybe I'll ask the others, and see what they think about this matter.

"Sir!" A random knight came up to me. "We just wanted to review the plan with you again, sir!" I nodded and he began to explain. "So, you want us to dig out a path on each side of the pond, and connect them in the back, forming a large circle correct?"

I nodded.

"Then you want us to set up a gate a couple feet back from the river and set that up around the whole circle too correct?"

I nodded.

"And then you finally want to make a drawbridge right here so we can cross it and go into the future city?"

I nodded.

"Okay! I'll tell the others to continue then! Pardon me!" He bowed and ran away.

After hearing his explanation, I went over to a carrage and sat down in the back of it. 'I already see one problem..' I was talking about how someone will purify the water but the question is, how will they get down there? The water wont leave by itself, so we'll have to go down there Manually.

I then pulled out a pen and pad and wrote some stuff down. 'An oxygen tank should help..' Just need a large jar, fill it with oxygen, have some sort of material like a straw, connect it to a mask, and....bam! That should work. For now atleast.'

I smiled and put the notepad away.

"Its all coming together..." This should take a couple of weeks. That may seem slow, but I have to trust the process. There will be many problems, but I have to trust the process.

I just have to trust the process.
