Chapter 34: Date With An Egyptian Goddess.

We reached the end of the stairs and found ourselves in the middle of the city.

"I-Is that the empress?!" Someone shouted out, causing people to stop what they were doing, and look over. "Yeah, it is! She had golden ears! Its her!" People came up to her, but was stopped by a golden wall.

"Please don't.." She slowly started shaking. "Please don't come near me.." Her voice became lower, and sadder. "Hey, what's wrong?" I turned around and bent down. "Tell me what's happening."

She was afraid of her own people? Why though?

"Its just that.." She slowly looked up at me.

"I'm a bad empress to these people. I..I don't deserve their gratitude.."

Her lifeless eyes stared at me. 'Come on. Don't say that about yourself..' I only knew this small lady for a couple of minutes, but I feel for her this much? I really get attached easily huh?

"Dont say that Jura. Your people loves you." I looked all around and saw pictures of her on huge flags. She hasn't been outside in years, but she looks the same on that flag. I was going to guess that she took the picture when she was younger, but that wouldn't make sense now.

"Yeah! You do so much for us!"

"We love you empress!"

"Your beautiful and kind. That's all we care about."

People gave her all sorts of compliments. "See. Don't think bad of yourself. They all like and respect you." I patted her head and she slowly looked down. "Yes.." I smiled at the cute scene in front of me and looked up.

"Everyone. My name is Haruto. I'm from the human continent, but I came over here to establish my own kingdom. I hope you all support me on my long journey."

I then grabbed her hand again and started walking away, hearing murmurs in the process.

"He must be the dragon rider."

"I heard he can make people fly!"

"Establishing a kingdom? That sounds fun!"

"He's with the empress. They look like Father and daughter."

People stared at them as they walked down the streets of..."Hey. What's the name of this place?" I questioned her.

"Its the domed City of Prosperity." I slightly nodded at her. 'City of prosperity huh?' I looked at the ground. 'That's a perfect name. With all this gold, you could be set for life. Though, no one seems to care for it.'

"Okay Jura. We'll go on there first." I pointed to a shop and she nodded. "Its called "Rivers clothing shop" if you wanted to know." We walked into the store together.

"Clothes?.... Are mine not appealing?.." She continued looking down at the ground.

Jura was a cute girl with lots of jewelry on. It makes her look good, but I can see the true beauty she posses. In order for her to reach that level(which would be on par with Ryoko), she must freshen up.

"Jura. Your beauty is hidden behind those clothes and jewelry of yours. Let's try something new." Hearing this, she slightly flinched. "Okay... But I get to choose something for you too.."

I was fine with that, so we came to an agreement. We then searched around, trying different clothes on in the process.

"How about this.." I showed her something. "It looks...cool?" She tilted her head as she looked at me. I was confused by why she was confused then remembered that she was blind. "I forgot. Here you go.." I handed the dress to her and she took it.

"Hm?.." She tilted her head slighly. "Bunny...shirt?" I smiled at her words with my thumb out. It was hoodie with a bunny ears on the actual hood part. I'm surprised they had this to be honest.

"Please wear it. Please.." I went onto my knees with my hands together. "Hm.." She stared at me. "its oversized though.."

That fine! That's exactly fine!

"You said you wanted me to show my beauty though.."

Who said that?! I didn't say that!

Damn it, I did!

"Y-You can only wear it in my presence then. Is that fine?" Hearing this, she looked down and nodded. "Nice!" I took the oversized hoodie out her hand and ran away.

"He's funny.." Jura then walked away too. After about 10 minutes, we both met back up together. "So? What did you get me?" She had something behind her back. "A present.." She put her hands out and looked back down.

I then took the items out her hands and it extended onto the floor. "A...cloak?" It was a black cloak with a purple inside. This was actually perfect as it covers my arms. People get freaked out when they see the runes on my arms.

"This...is perfect. Thank you." As I said that, a panel appeared in front of me.

[Would you like to infuse your cloak with Dark Cape?]

The system spoke to me like an actual person which surprised me. Anyways, it wants to fuse with Black Cape? I guess it would be quite convenient to have them fuse as the cape looks terrible on its on.

'Yes.'

[Dark Cape and Cloak fused.]

The cloak then became pitch black, making me lightly smile. "It is?.." She had her head down once more. "Yeah, It is. It's actually better then my present which makes me not want to show it."

I got her a a black dress with red frills, black stockings supported with garters and a red boots. It also came with a red bow that she could wrap around her ears.

"Here you go.." I extended my hands out to her and she slowly took it. "Its...beautiful.." She then looked down and looked back up. "Thank you.." I smiled at her words and said "Let's pay for it.." We then walked over to the cashier.

"Its free."

I nodded without hesitation and we left. 'Not like my money matters over here anyways.' And I will not let her pay for it. That would be a dick move to let a girl pay on our first date.

"Where to next? Have any ideas?" Although, she was the one taking me around since I had no clue where to go. "You need...supplies right?" She asked me.

"Yeah, your right! Where can I find glass bottles and..." I went on about some stuff. "Why don't I just... make it?.." She proposed something to me. 'Actually, if I write down every single thing there is to know about scuba gear then she could do that. The only problem I see is..'

"Can you control the weight of your gold?" I stared at her with a serious expression. "Quite...easily.." I smiled and we walked over to a bench. "Go get changed. I want to see you in it." She stared at me for a moment, then nodded.

'I'm a lucky man..' I sighed out in satisfaction as I started writing. 'First, the fins..' I drew a sketch of the fins. 'This helps the person in use move swiftly throughout the water..' I made a small side note just in case.

I did this for about 10 minutes before looking up. "Damn shes hot." I thought to myself. "T-Thank you..." She thanked me, even though I didn't say anything to her. "Does it really look good on me?"

She held her arm while looking down. The red really suited her white skin. It also complimented her golden hair with black edges. She had stockings that went up her entire leg too, and wore sexy red heels.

"To be honest, your very beautiful." She had on black lipstick as well. 'Am I a weirdo for redesigning her after Rory? She has the same build though..'

"Thank you.." She the came over to the bench and sat down. "Today...Is fun. I..like this." I nodded while finishing up a few notes. "Today has only started. I've reviewed your map and apparently, theres a history exhibit somewhere around here. After that, we'll each lunch and then.."

I was rambling on with a bright smile. Noticing her stare though caused me to slighly blush. 'You fell in love already? Your too easy Haruto.' I sighed at myself then presented the paper to her. "This is everything for now. Can you do it?" She slowly took the paper.

"Yeah.." She read over the design. "So this is for exploring underwater? How convenient.." She held her chin while nodding. "In the future, I'll sell them to you. I gotta learn to make them myself though.."

I need to send a message to the king and have him bring Drax over. Drax was someone with speed magic. He could easily bring a black smith or something here in a couple of days. Hours even.

"That would be helpful. We have a water level in the pyramid and...and it's hard for some.." I nodded with my hand on her car ears. "I can make it now..." She sighed out and got up.

"It'll be done in a second.." She closed her eyes and began. The gold from the ground then sprouted up and came into her body. She gasped for a second as the gold went into her eyes too.

After a couple of seconds, I started seeing shapes formed. First it was the fin and then the tanks. Next was the regulator and the process was finally over.

"Wow. Thats amazing usage over your powers.."

They were exactly like the real things. Every detail included too. "Thank you.." She stammered slighly. "Don't you dare fall out again." I weaved my hand and her body started levitating.

"I-I'm fine. I'm just not used to using my powers like I used to be.."

"Used to be? How old are you exactly?"

"5013 yeard old..."

She said something, but I couldn't really hear it.

"Oh, your 13? I see.." I sat her back down and she cutely layed on the ground. I motioned my hand out towards the 6 items and a black hole appeared, swallowing up the gear, and putting them inside my inventory.

"Let's go Jura. Our date is still on!" I picked her up and held her hand. "Yes.." She was tired once more as we ran away together.
