CHAPTER 14

NOAH POV

I didn't want to pressure Jane into doing anything she was going to regrets. I wasn't intending on using her and dumping her at all, instead she was part of me already! I was planning on telling Marcus to give Jane to me even if it meant he was going to sell her to me.

I seriously didn't care if he was asking for a huge ransom for her bailouts, I mean I was ready to do anything just to be with her but I just couldn't tell him right away because he might sense something fishy now and always! I have been meeting Jane and her friend Mary now and then to get a suitable plan for escape.

I knew we were taking a huge risk. Firstly, I was betraying Marcus just to be with the woman I loved.

Secondly, I don't have a hundred percent assurance of if the plan was going to be a success. I seriously want it to go as planned, we still had two days before we executed our plan. We had included some grown girls in the plan to make it easier, I hope the plan works seriously because it feels like the girls are putting their hope and trust in me.

After the last day of placing our planning strategy. I didn't know why but it felt like the plan was going to be a hundred percent success! after the girls had left I had to speak with Jane before the day we finally execute the plan.

I only had one guard who I trusted and I knew he was always going to stand by me. He had been there for me ever since he resumed duty for Marcus' dad, I owe him a lot! I decided to give him some instructions before he escorted the girls to camp.

I didn't want any of Marcus' men catching signs or being suspicious. We were almost at the bottom of the plan and it shouldn't go to drain, immediately the guard lefts! Some tiny hands went around my waist, I couldn't help but smile at how that back hug did so many things to my body.

"Thank you so much. You seriously don't know what you have done for me, I wish I can repay you in tenfolds." Jane said. I wanted us to stay like that for some more minute but I just couldn't because it felt like she was crying. I decided to turn her around and hug her properly, "why are you breaking my heart? Why are you in tears? Have I wronged you?" I asked her as I hugged her tightly.

She released herself from the hug and immediately cleaned her tears. "I am sorry for crying in front of you. It just that I feel that I don't deserve you, I feel bad for putting you in my tight corner." She said. I know she must feel bad but she saying she doesn't deserve me feels more painful than a gunshot.

"Do you believe that I love you dearly?" I asked. "You have said that more than a hundredth time." She said smiling, I was glad I could put a smile on her face at that moment in time.

"If I had said that more than a hundredth time. then you should know that you deserve me," I said trying to hug her.

"If tomorrow's plan doesn't go as plan, just know that I love you and would always do," I said as I hugged her more tightly and pecked her on the hair.

To be sincere I was nervous about the plan but I just couldn't show that to her. "Don't say that, Everything would go exactly as planned." She mumbled in between hugs. "At least your assurance was all I was waiting for to regain more energy," I said pulling away from the hug and bringing out a necklace to place on her neck. "This should keep you safe even when I am not with you," I said putting it around her neck. "Don't say that. You are scaring me! We would all have a successful plan." She said pecking me on the lips.

I stared at her one last time before hugging her again, I guess she was all I needed to be happy and comfortable.

"I love you so much," she mumbled.

JANE POV

Today was the day our plan was going to be executed. To be sincere since I woke up, I have had a bad feeling about everything. I just couldn't contact Noah and Mary wasn't anywhere around camp, I have searched everywhere that I know she could be found but to no avail. Where could she have gone? Those were answers only she could give.

The plan was a simple one. Noah had ordered his most trusted guard to set a truck that would pack the kids in camp to the orphanage he had spoken to while he tries to set the bush on fire and a few of Marcus' crops and warehouse. The plan sounded easy to say but I felt it wasn't going to be an easy one, Noah had given me the keys to his new apartment.

The guard was going to drop me there and he was going to catch up after everything was put in place with Marcus. He was going to go back to the mansion immediately he had set the place at the blaze, he didn't want to be too suspicious So he was going to put the place at blaze as early as possible.

I wasn't going to meet up with Noah Since everybody knew what part to take in. The plan was supposed to begin immediately we see the flame, it was almost evening and Mary wasn't back! I was getting totally worried. Did something happen to her? I just hope she was okay.

The guard had approached the spot to pick up the children at the exact time we agreed on which was 9:50 pm. We strolled to the truck and it was ready as we had planned but the flames weren't put on, I was already getting scared but the guard had required we waited a bit before leaving. We waited for five minutes and there wasn't any sign of flame. We were about leaving but got stopped by the amount of guard that surrounded us.

I think they were Marcus men and we had been caught.
