Zhao ai quickly stood there staring at her father's grave unable to utter anything. After a few hours at the cemetery, she decided to leave. As soon as she got home she opened the letter her father had given her before his death. She quickly opened the letter which seemed to have a mother piece of paper on the back and started reading.
"My dear daughter, if your reading this letter today this probably means that were dead. We just wanted to say sorry, sorry for everything that we have done, for everything that the Zhao family has done to you," after reading the first page she flipped to go to the second page which was titled "Peace Treaty". The paper looked old as it was older than her.
It stated" We the Wang family agree to keep the peace between the underground and the human world, in return, the Zhao family must marry their one of their 7th generation daughters to one of our princes.
At first, Zhao ai was confused she thought that those kinds of things only happened in mangas and novels but was it really happening to her. She spent the whole entire night twisting and turning wondering why that was happening to her and not her and not her sister or to anybody else.
The next day
When Zhao ai woke up she looked like a zombie. Her eyes had dark circles and you could definitely tell that she was crying and didn't get an inch of sleep. Even though she was tired she had to go to work whether she liked it or not.
Like every day she would take to train to get to work but today weirdly felt different. On her way to work she accidentally bumped into a tall handsome-looking man. The man had a beautiful figure with beautiful gray eyes that were as cold as the winter breeze. Weirdly she got a sense of deja-vu from the man but just knock it off and continued her day.
After work, she decided to get some take-out instead of cooking which made her an hour late to get back home. When she got home everything in the house was upside down, dishes were broken, pillows were all over the place. Someone had definitely invaded her home while she was not here.
