Chapter 1

Alice's pov

I woke up to yet another nightmare from my past that I have been struggling with

I'm drenched in my own sweat and I feel all sticky and shit

Let me introduce myself,hey I'm Alice Parker. I am 18.i live in NYC and am a depressed fellow(lol)

I live with my elder brother who is super protective of me and my younger sister

Our parents were kind of rich but we don't really show it cause we are not really brats

Im still in highschool and I'm in my senior year yey that's all let's get back to the story

You could say I am a combination of my parents cause I got my sky blue eyes from my mom and my Raven black long hair from my dad,I had a natural tanted skin so I wasn't pale

I had curved in the right places which I tried as much as possible to not show

I have a secret that am hiding and I don't really plan on letting anyone know because it would trouble them and I don't want to be the cause of that

You may be asking what the secret is....I'll tell you but not today

Okay back to the present

I stood up to go take a shower.i stripped out of my clothes and stepped into the shower and let the steaming water relax my muscles for sometime before stepping out due to the water turning cold

Checking the time it's was only 4:30am feeling really exhausted I went back to bed.

Waking up to an alarm clock that is so loud is not really nice and I'm not a morning person so I reach out to snooze the alarm before getting up to prepare for the hell called school BTW I go to a school named bullbear high school stupid right yes I know

Deciding on not taking a shower again cause I had one a few hours ago I wore my grey sweat pants with my matching sweatshirt and my sneakers

I put my hair in a ponytail and picked up my phone and went downstairs for breakfast

Reaching the dining room I saw my younger sister Maddie who is just 5 years sitting on the counter with Jason who is 25 eating breakfast

I went towards them and kissed Maddie on her cheek making her blush and I tapped Jason before heading to the fridge

"Hey kiddo good morning"

"Morning..how was your night jay -jay"I smiled at the nickname I gave him

"I told you to stop calling me that"

"And I also told you to stop calling me kiddo"I smirked at my comeback

He glared at me and smiled "you know you have school in the next 40minutes right?

My face turned pale.i know am suffering from depression but I still get my straight A's .I quickly rushed out of the dining room to the living room to get my backpack but before leaving I kissed Maddie on the cheek making her blush which brought a smile to my face and I  ran out

Reaching the porch of our mansion I breathe in the air and said to myself"let's get this party started"

I ran to my baby yea yea I call my bike my baby smiling I hopped on and hit the road

Reaching hell aka bulldogs highschool I turned my bike off and started walking towards the hallway on reaching there like always the students are basically everywhere either gossiping or some other things the do which I don't really care

I maneuver my way towards my locker as always no one is there waiting for me because the don't give two balls about me if only the knew that my parents were billionaires then the would just be in for the money and nothing else

I got my book needed for first period and started my journey for class while walking someone bumped into me making me stumble a bit but I still fell

I looked up to see a red haired girl on glasses also on the floor trying to pick up her books

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you I was running late for my class so I decided to run without looking at where I was going to am kind of like a clumsy person and...."she rumbled

"It's ok,it's not really that big of a deal either.hey I'm Alice"I stretched out my hands

"I'm Daisy nice to meet you"she shook my

"Let me help you with that"

After we arrange her books on her hands she smiled and said"thanks I'll see you around"before running off

I made my way to class being five minutes late I knew the outcome for Mr Mark our biology teacher.i made it to class and immediately all eyes were on me making me nervous from all the attention which I don't really get alot but I masked my emotions like always

"Miss Parker why are you late for my class"

"I got cut up with something"

"Alright then without any more interruptions let's continue the class"

I went to my usual sit which was at the back and by the window

I stared out the window blocking what Mr Mark was saying dont get me wrong am not an idiot I actually get my straight A's

After about 30minutes,we heard the door open all heads turned towards the door to reveal the one and only Zander Miller

We all expected Mr Mark to question him but he did not

Zander made his way towards the back sit and the only available sit was the one beside me

I refused making eye contact with him so I focused my attention on what the teacher was saying

I felt a pair of eyes gazing at me..I knew who the belonged to and me being me I did not show if I was affected or not

Immediately the bell rang signaling the end of the class I was the first to bolt out of the door

The day went by pretty fast I got to know that Zander was in almost all of my class at the end of the day I was heading towards my bike when I bumped into someone again

I lifted my head to see the red haired girl I met earlier Daisy

"Hey"

"I'm so sorry we always get to meet like this and not under any normal circumstance"she chuckled

"Yea that's right"we went into a comfortable silence with me debating on inviting her over to our place to spend some time

"Hey Daisy....uhm...would you like to come to my house so we could hang out"I shuttered shocking myself with my lack of confidence which never happens

She smiled widely"yes I would love that,let's get going"I smiled at her response

We headed towards the driveway of the school and towards my bike

Immediately Daisy saw my bike she was practically drooling over it and I smirked at that not really wanting to show my emotions to people

"Was that your ride here"

I smiled and hopped onto it before replying her with"yea it was my ride here and it is our ride back to my place"

She eagerly climbed onto the bike and we speed off toward the direction of my house

Also immediately she saw my house her jaws dropped and her eyes popped

I smirked at her reaction to the house"would you like to enter the house or you want to continue staring at my house"

She blushed at being caught drooling over the house

As we made our way into the house we heard sounds coming from the TV so I assumed that Maddie was at home already

I walked into the living room with the biggest smile on my face with Daisy following like a lost puppy

"Hey sunshine"I said immediately I entered making Maddie's head immediately turn to the direction of my voice and ran towards me

"Hey Ali,I missed you"

I smiled at how adorable she was

"I missed you too sunshine you know it was my first day at school so I couldn't pick you and that was why I had jay take care of that.....speaking of that where is he?"

Immediately we heard curses coming from the kitchen and I laughed and turned and it was just there that I noticed I brought company back home and not wanting to be rude

"Daisy meet my sister Maddie and Maddie meet Daisy"

Daisy smiled at Maddie and Maddie smiled back at her surprisingly which made me surprised cause it was rare before Maddie allows people into her circle I guess we are really depressed children lol

While Daisy and Maddie were chatting on I went into the kitchen to see Jason there covered in flour making me laugh

"What were you doing jay"he gazed at me

"I was trying to make you cupcakes like the best big brother I am and you know the rest"

I couldn't resist the urge of laughing anymore so I laughed to the point my stomach began to ache

"You know you can't cook jay but I appreciate your effort though"I said meaning every word I said

"How was your day by the way"

"It was eventful though I'm just stressed from it"he sighed and I understood him considering the fact that our dad always came home tired

We fell into a comfortable silence before I remembered again that Daisy was here so I was the one that broke the silence

"Jay I kind of brought my friend over it's cool right"

He was shocked from his expression cause he went mute before speaking up

"It's cool,you never bring anyone home I just hope it isn't a boy or else he is going home with a broken leg"

I couldn't help but smile at that and I led him to the living room for him to meet Daisy

I fake coughed in order to get Maddie and Daisy's attention after I achieved that I introduced the both of them exactly how I did with Maddie and I couldnt help but notice that my brother was checking her out which was rare due to the fact of the event that happened to us,he just stopped being the old jay that was a Playboy and stuff and he became the responsible brother he is now

For the next one hours or five hours I guess Daisy and I talked about ourselves,what we liked doing and so on,I did not tell her the private part of my life she only knew the minor parts like what my best colour was and I knew that I enjoyed her company

We ordered take outs for dinner cause no one was ready to prepare anything so after dinner Daisy decided to head home cause it was getting late

So I drove her back to her house cause she didn't really know the area and yes I drove..I also have a car

She wasn't surprised though so after I made sure she was safely inside her house I headed back home

When I got home I met jay and Maddie watching something so I decided to join them

The movie ended after an hour and I wasn't surprised when I turned to check I saw that Maddie and jay were asleep so I carried Maddie to her room and changed her into her PJ's and guys it's really hard to change a child's cloth especially when the child is asleep

After i tugged her in and kissed her I went downstairs to wake jay,I accomplished my mission and jay went to his room I decided to head to mine to have a good night rest too

I needed to relax after today's job so I decided to hop into the shower to relax some of my nerves and it really helped me

I changed into my pj's and went straight to bed I drifted off to sleep thinking of how my day went and I slept with a smile on my face

Hey guys I know this chapter took a long while to finish and am so sorry about that I have been busy lately with school and stuffs but I'll try updating I promise

You may see some mistakes above so please kindly point them out and I would correct it thank you i love you guys so much
