Alice's POV

I woke up for some strange reason..oh I know the reason it's the sun that is trying to kill me

I adjusted my eyes to the brightness of my room and I scanned my room looking for Zander and I was disappointed when I did not see him

I sat up with a sad look on my face and immediately my door opened and I saw Zander standing there

"Good morning"

"Morning Zander"I don't know why I decided to smile after seeing him

"I guess you are in a good mood today....i have made breakfast and I saw your brother this morning and it wasn't a good meeting I guess but his mind was somewhere else"

"Ok...has he left yet?"

"Yea he has"

My mind travelled back to the conversation I had with Jay last night

"Earth to heavens Ali!!!"

I blinked rapidly to get out of my day dream

"Oh I'm sorry....what did you say"

"I made breakfast and I have prepared Maddie for school...she wasn't really happy to see me"he said that with a sad look

"Hey it's fine...we'll warm up to you when the time is right"

He even looked more sad and I decided to change the mood

"Ok....can you leave so I could get dressed and take Maddie to school"

"Oh....it's fine"he left my room

I went into the bathroom and did my routine then I decided to go for my pink tie and dye sweat pants and shirt and I paired it with my white sneakers that was customized specially for me thanks to Jay

I put my hair in a tight ponytail and applied a little lip gloss because I don't like my lips dry and I looked cute

I sprayed my favorite cologne and I went to check up on Maddie and she was looking a little bit sad which made me walk up to her

"Good morning sunshine"

"Morning Ali"

"What's wrong baby"

"What is he doing here?...he broke your heart and that made me angry and it was hard for you to get yourself together I don't want that to happen to you again Ali"

My eyes stung with tears and I tried holding them back but I failed when it rolled down my eyes and Maddie reached out to me

"Don't cry Ali"

"Thanks Maddie....he left for a reason Maddie don't be too hard on him ok?"

She looked at me like I was crazy "fine I'll try to be nice"

"That's my girl"I kissed her cheek

"Ali please I don't want to go to school today....please call in and say am sick or something"

"Why would I do that...you aren't sick"

"Pretty please...ok ok let's make a deal I'll be nice to him and you'll let me stay home"

"Urghhh fine"

"Thanks Ali your the best"

"Ok be down in 5 minutes breakfast is ready"

"Ok"

I walked out of her room and I met Zander in the hallway with a sad expression which he tried to mask immediately he saw me and my mind was telling me he just heard what Maddie said

I walked downstairs and I was greeted with the heavenly scent of blueberry pancakes with strawberries at the side and syrup my favorite

I walked towards the scent which was directing me to the kitchen and I saw three plates of pancakes which made me smile

"Thanks Zander but you didn't have to do that you know"

"Yea I know ....I just wanted doing it"he scratched the back of his head

Maddie came down after a few minutes and we had breakfast

Few minutes later Zander left stating that he had an important meeting to attend

I decided to plan our day which would consist of shopping because am going back in 2 days and I have a lot of things to buy

I'm not gonna tell Zander because I know he would follow me there and I don't want that

"Hey Maddie"

She looked up urging me to continue

"Get dressed we are going out"her eyes sparkled at that

"Shopping"

"Yea shopping"she jumped up in happiness and ran upstairs to get dressed which made me laugh

I decided to text Daisy to let her in on our plan

Me:hey what's up

Best bitch❣️:I'm cool what's up

Me:get dressed we are coming to get you for shopping

Best bitch❣️:we?

Me:yea Maddie and I

Best bitch:Maddie?? I thought she was in school

Me:lol you know Maddie doesn't really like school

Best bitch❣️:lmao

Me:ok see you then...bye😘

I heard footsteps and I looked up and saw Maddie in her pink matching tie and dye sweat pants and shirt

"Why did you pick that outfit"

"Because it looked cute on you and I love matching with you"

"Awwwn that's so sweet..let's take some pictures"

We got out and took some pictures beside the car and we looked so cute in them

We headed towards Daisy's to pick her up...when we got there I was surprised to see her and Manson outside I think the were waiting for us

Immediately I parked the car Maddie got out and ran towards Mason and immediately he noticed her he bent down to pick her up which brought a huge smile to my face to see the connection Maddie has with mason like her other brother

I got out and walked towards them "hey bitches"

"Hey...what's up"Daisy asked

"I'm good....Uhm....I don't want to sound rude but mason what are you doing here"

"Hey to you too"he rolled his eyes

"Before I answer your question...how would you want to go shopping without me"he gave me a sad face

"Lol mason you have been busy for two days now and I didn't know you would be free...man up you big baby"

He rolled his eyes and turned back to Maddie to discuss something

"So are you guys ready to go?"I asked them

"Yea sure let me grab my purse first so we can leave"Daisy said and walked inside leaving mason and I

"Hey Ali....the main reason I came here was to talk to daisy about the feelings I have for her....I didn't really know that you were going out she just told me and I used that as an opportunity to get out of the conversation I was about to create because I am not ready yet...I don't want to face rejection Ali"

"It's fine mason...there's no problem and daisy won't reject you I promise...the way she talks about you or looks at you would show that she is in love with you too"

His eyes beamed at the mention of that and he gave me his wide smile

"Thanks Ali....now let's go shopping so I can talk to my coward self in the process"

We laughed and just like that daisy came back

"Alright babies let's go"we all screamed "yay!!!!!!"

"Uhm hey guys the are like three cars here so which one are we using mine,mason's or yours"

"I think we'll go with mine"mason said quickly and winked at me which made me understand

"Yea that's cool"

We got into the car and headed towards the mall

Few hours later we had about 15 bags and it wasn't that fun to carry

Mason kept whining about food so we decided it was time to head towards the food court

We got there and we paid for two tables and the second one was for our bags

I made sure Maddie sat properly....mason and daisy sat together and I sat beside Maddie

"Uhm ok guys I'll be right back,I'll place the order what do you want?"

"I need burger without the tomato and strawberry milkshake"Maddie replied

"I'll have chips and any type of milkshake"

"I don't really need to ask you Daisy I know what you want...the usual"

"Yea thanks Ali"

I went to order our food and what I saw got my blood boiling

I saw Zander with a blonde lady which am guessing is a model because her body was shaped like one and I have seen her in a few magazines I guess her name is Rita I don't really care

What even made my blood boil was the fact that he was with me this morning so this was the important meeting he was having

"Uhm hi I'll like to order three plates of burger without the tomato,chips and for the drinks we'll have 1 strawberry milkshake,2 vanilla milkshake and cappuccino"

"It's that all ma'am"the waiter asked politely

"Yea that would be all"

"That would be 30 dollars"

I brought out my card to pay...after doing so I turned around and what got me more upset was the fact that he was sucking faces with that blonde bitch and that made me feel sad and angry but I won't let it ruin my day

"Thanks ma'am and your food would be ready in 5 minutes"

"Yea thanks"

I turned to walk away and that was when he noticed me and cursed under his breathe but I didn't want to create drama so I walked away

I went back to the table and they were talking about something which I didn't really know about because I zoned out during the conversation

"For heavens sake Ali what the hell happened when you went to get food"Daisy asked with concern written all over her face

"Nothing happened...I was just thinking about school and my internship nothing serious"

"Are you sure because you totally zoned out which is unlike you"mason asked clearly not convince by the lie

"Yea I am"

Few minutes later the food came and we ate and talked about some things which kind of got my mind off the incident

We got ready to leave but my bladder had a different idea as usual and I excused myself to go release

Mason,Daisy and Maddie headed towards the car with the bags which I thanked them for

I made my way to the toilet and I got in and did my business

I was about leaving the bathroom when I was stopped by a figure

I looked up and I was so glad it was Zander *note the sarcasm*

"What do you want Zander I don't really have time for this"

"Ali I know what your thinking and it's not what it looks like"

"First of all,don't call me Ali only my friends call me that and obviously you lost the privilege....secondly what the fuck is my business with you and your blondy...I don't give a shit so get out of my way Zander"

"Please Ali....I mean Alice she came unto me...I didn't mean to kiss her and I just did it for business"

"Zander like I said please leave me alone....I don't really care....I need to go...have a nice day and I bet your business partner is waiting for you"

I pushed past him with tears threatening to roll out and quickly ran to the car

The first person to notice my red eyes was Maddie

"Ali what's wrong"she said with a sad face which made mason and daisy turn towards me with the same face

"I'm fine Maddie....I...I got something in my eye"

Immediately I said that their eyes were on something behind me and mason was very angry alongside Daisy

Maddie wasn't that smart so she didn't  know what was going on

Mason was about going over to him but I stopped him and motioned towards the car and he looked at Zander one last time before turning back

The car ride was full with silence and mason decided he would drop us home first and he would bring my car first thing tomorrow morning

We got out with our bags and headed inside and thank god Ma'am was around so I didn't have to babysit Maddie in my current state

"Good evening ma'am"

"Evening my babies...how was shopping"

"It was cool but Ali is kind of sad"Maddie said stating the obvious

Ma'am turned and looked at me giving me the do you want to talk about it look and I shook my head no

"Ok dear I guess you had a long day why don't you freshen up in your room and come down for dinner"

"I'm fine...I don't really want to have anything...I think I just need to rest"

"Yea that's fine and Jason said he wasn't going to be home today"

"Yea thanks"

I went to her and kissed her cheeks while saying good night

I did same to Maddie and made my way towards my room

I went straight to my bathroom and into the shower which helped calm my nerves a little bit

I got out and wore my pjs and went under the covers in hope to find sleep

After few hours of thinking about the incident,sleep decided to consume me and I was thankful for that
