Stop Stressing Your Brain For No Reason.

Tears brimmed Song Ah Lam's eyes, as she acted like a weak child and tugged lightly at Tang Xi's tank top. Well, this had perpetually been the case. With the impetuousness of her youth, Song Ah Lam would without exception fire back at people, if they said something malapropos. However, her refutation would expire after that one single dose, and she would shrink back and hide behind Tang Xi and Gu Liang, when the other party counter-attack

With Gu Liang, It couldn't be really considered a confrontation; because, Gu Liang, due to his peaceful nature, merely would stand there as the other party yell at his face. Nonetheless, Tang Xi would turn on anyone for Song Ah Lam with proper words.

"Song Song didn't say anything wrong, so shame on you instead." Tang Xi said with a smile. Her tone was eerily friendly considering her mockery.

"You are talking so confidently about that professor, as if you have known him for years already? If you don't mind, let me sprinkle some knowledge on your fanatic brain. Among all the previous graduates who passed with so-called 'Flying Colours' in his subject, there wasn't a single boy in the list. A recent survey which was conducted in this area, shows that those 'flying colours seniors' scored lowly in all other subjects. On the other hand, some remarkable students, having scored A in all the subjects, got B or C in Professor Qin's subject." Tang Xi said what she happened to hear in the board meeting yesterday.

"Nobody can be good in all the subjects at the same time. There are always pluses and minuses." Feng Lan said, glaring at Tang Xi.

Tang Xi tossed a withering glance at Feng Lan, then announced, "Well, since you want more explicit explanations-like the Emperor summoning different concubines every other night, professor Qin used to call different female students in his chamber every single day under the pretext of giving suggestions. And the funny part is, all the girls would come out exactly after an hour with wobbly legs."

Chu Daiyu, who was more collected than the other girls in the group, interrogated Tang Xi with a solemn face, "You have to have a solid proof, before raising your finger at someone's character. Do you have any?" but the moment the question left her mouth, an answer came to her and her face immediately paled.

"The corridor's CCTV camera captured everything, and these footage are available for the protesters. You can go and request the control room management to show you some, if you want. Actually, you don't have to, someone from the mathematics department had hacked into the camera, maybe he/she will upload some on the university's entertainment page tonight."

Tang Xi smirked in her heart, lying the last sentence through gritted teeth. Her eyes twinkled with mirth upon scarring the culprit. Actually, she saw Chu Daiyu coming out of Profession Qin's chamber walking loosely with her own eyes, not in footage.

Nevertheless, on the surface, she maintained the calm countenance that she had the moment she stepped into the corridor.

"What would you like to order, mam?" A waiter handed them menu books as soon as he walked in.

"Song Song, order for me, whatever you are having. I have a last minute touch-up to do in an assignment." Saying, Tang Xi pulled out her laptop from the bag, and started working on it.

After that corridor drama, both of them came to a local restaurant, as nobody would be taking the class today. Well, Professor Qin just left yesterday, and obviously in such a short notice, it would be a little hard to find a proficient replacement.

Song Ah Lam tick-marked the chicken sandwich, sent off the waiter with a smile, then asked Tang Xi with a pout, "You always finish your homework at home, and give me your full attention. Xixi, have you started changing, just because we don't sit in the same classroom from morning to afternoon anymore?"

"Stop stressing your brain for no reason. I returned home late yesterday, after five, thus couldn't finish it completely; and now I have to submit this in an hour." Tang Xi replied, amidst the soothing clicks of her finger against the keyboard.

Song Ah Lam pouted, helplessly she drew out her cell phone and started surfing through weibo.

After it seemed like ten minutes, the waiter returned.

"If there's anything you need, please ring the service bell." The waiter said with a smile, as he put down two plates of sandwich on the table, before leaving.

Suddenly remembering something, "Wait, didn't you say you had an important task to complete at home yesterday? That's why you bid me goodbye earlier, right? How come you only reached home after five? Where did you go for the four hours in the middle?" Song Ah Lam asked, taking a bite from her chicken sandwich.

However, Tang Xi carried on with her project without responding.

"Xixi, are you hiding something from me? Where did you go yesterday? Is there something going on in your life which I am being kept in the dark about?" Song Ah Lam threw a barrage of questions at Tang Xi, the look on her face was like a mother suspecting her twelve years old daughter for an affair.

"Xixi.." Song Ah Lam raised one of her eyebrows, as she stared at Tang Xi.

Tang Xi's fingers stopped moving on the keyboard, as she lifted her face, and looked at her friend helplessly. She knew, she didn't have any way out but to re-encounter everything, otherwise even god himself couldn't save her from her naggy best friend's enquiry.

---Flash back---

A few days ago, Professor Qin called Tang Xi in his chamber, saying he wanted to give her some suggestions. Back then, Tang Xi wasn't aware of his history, however, she refused politely out of instinct.

Perhaps Professor Qin was flying too high and needed to fall down, but he kept pestering Tang Xi to go into his chamber every single day for a week.
