Old Master Prohibited Your Entrance.

"Mom..mom, I'm sorry. I am the eldest, so I should get the opportunity first. Don't say anything to Youling until you fix it for me. Okay?" Afraid that Han Shuang wouldn't agree, she added, "After I get married to Lu Yunsheng, I will find the second best for my sister, I swear! I care more about you than Youling, and I promise to share twenty percent of my jewellery with you."

Even though Tang Youling was Tang Xinying's biological sister, there was a thing called sibling rivalry.

Han Shuang was pacified hearing the jewelry offer, "Alright,"

Tang Xinying heaved a sigh of relief, however, just then the prime question hit her, "How will you convince daddy? He doesn't even talk to you properly. And moreover, didn't he hate Tang Xi in the childhood? Why else would he turn a blind eye when we used to beat her? What's with him now to fix her marriage with Lu?"

Tang Xinying felt bitter recalling some distant memories. Was her daddy turning into his old self again?

Tang Xinying felt sorry for herself and Tang Youling, as she could distinctly remember how their father would dote on Tang Xi alone, forgetting about them. When Tang Xi's mother was still there, they would go outside as a family of three every Sunday; playing with Tang Xi in the amusement park and eating in expensive restaurants.

What about them? Apart from an apartment and monthly expenses, they got nothing else! Even after Tang Xi's mother left her daddy, and Tang Xi fell from her grace, Tang Chen never took them outside!

Let alone playing with them, if Tang Chen hardly ever wished them good morning, they would consider it as their lucky day. Both Tang Xinying and Tang Youling waited and waited to receive love from their father, however, that day never came. Perfectly said, a long wait empty out the feelings from the heart. Now, they didn't have any sentimental attachment for him anymore.

"That's what I'm thinking as well." Han Shuang said slowly, before squinting her eyes with a thought, "I surmise, it is that Old devilish mastermind pulling all the strings again."

Tang Xinying flared her nostrils, as she asked, "You mean the old dog in the ancient villa?"

"Who else! The way he quashed me twenty years ago and made a mess of my whole life, he is going to do the same to you as well. However, I won't let that happen this time! It is time to put the kibosh on his conspiracy!"

Han Shuang wanted to pour a bucket of shit on that old geezer both figuratively and literally so that he would feel like trash the rest of his life.

"Mom, in case Tang Xi goes missing, we can't possibly have no one to fulfill the marriage agreement with the Lu Family, right?" Tang Xinying spoke easily and waited for her mom's praises with expectation.

Han Shuang laughed evilly; her laughter was very loud, and it reverberated thrice in the living room, creating a witchy atmosphere.

As the saying goes, laughter engenders laughter-Tang Xinying also laughed loudly in the toilet cubicle, causing passers-by to take a second glance at the closed door.

"That's my daughter! Finally, you said something scholarly."

"Sorry Master, but we are not permitted to let you go inside." The guards standing at the maingate of the Ancient villa, said meekly.

They lost the counts of the times, they had to repeat this same sentence throughout the years.

"Tell dad it's something urgent, and I-" Tang Chen stopped midway, when he caught the sight of someone familiar. "Sister Zhang,"

Housekeeper Zhang was returning inside the villa, when she heard someone calling her. Turning around she spotted Tang Chen, and paused for a few seconds, before slowly walking towards him with some hesitation.

"Yes,"

Full of grievance, Tang Chen looked at Housekeeper Zhang helplessly and said, "Let me meet my dad,"

As Housekeeper Zhang was privy to what happened years back, she couldn't console Tang Chen kindly, despite feeling sorry for him.

She gave Tang Chen a look of sympathy, then said softly, "Old Master prohibited your entrance."

"I know, but Sister Zhang, I always considered you as my own sister. At least, for old times sake, let me meet him."

In reality, Tang Chen had the power to break this gate and enter inside forcefully, however, he didn't want to have any violent ways with his father. Over the years, no matter how many times Tang Chen had to go back from this gate disappointed, he never stopped coming here again with a new hope.

Housekeeper Zhang was quiet for a while, as she struggled her internal battle, before gesturing to the guards to open the gate.

"Thank you so much, sister Zhang." Tang Chen expressed his gratitude, as he hugged housekeeper Zhang. There wasn't a sign of disgust on his face, as he embraced a mere servant.

"Dad," Tang Chen called his father, feeling nostalgic. Many emotions were pouring out of his heart, to be able to call Tang Min "Dad" face to face again after years.

Nevertheless, upon seeing Tang Chen, Tang Min flew into a rage and hollered, "Who let this person inside my villa! Throw him outside, and sanitize my entire villa! This type of wicked people spreads a stronger virus than covid19, and ruins the purity of the place."

Tang Min was very curt in front of Tang Chen, as his words were specifically directed for him to hear.

"Dad…" Tang Chen called out unbelievably, hurt.

"Who is your dad? He died a long time ago!" Tang Min rebuked, with a petulant expression.

"How are you?" Tang Chen composed himself, and sounded way too calm. However, he had long felt like a million daggers had pierced through his heart.

Tang Min's eyes were still red, and he turned to glare at Tang Chen upon hearing him, and said, "If you really want me to be in good health, see yourself outside of my home right this moment."
