Chapter 8

"Why should I go to his house?" he asked himself as he looked at his phone...'should i go or not' he contemplated for a while before he finally decided to just go.

He took his time and bathed more properly other than before and dressed so well,when he was done he locked the door and boarded a taxi to Logan's house,he reached and knocked at the door and Logan's butler opened the door for him.

"welcome ..."

"Mark,the name's Mark sir" Mark Informed the butler who didn't know his name.

"oh,welcome Mark,master awaits you in his ehmm bedroom" the butler said in a manner that made Mark blush unexpectedly. Mark left the butler without replying him and climbed up stairs,he got to bedroom and knocked on the door, "enter"was the response he got and he opened the door and entered closing the door behind him.

Mark saw Logan taking a peek at some files in front of him and cleared his throat trying to get his attention, "welcome" Logan said as he looked up,seeing how Mark dressed,he smirked inwards and patted the couch close to his table signalling him to take a seat. Mark went over and sat down as instructed without arguing and waited patiently for Logan to finish what he was doing,it took him an hour to finish what he was doing by then Mark already fell asleep, ' can he fall asleep freely when he is with other people or its just me' Logan wondered. He bent over and took a careful look at the sleeping boy's face,'thick lashes like that of a girl,small mouth,pointed nose and a baby face...uhmmmm he is too cute' Logan said to himself as he subconsciously touched his face.

"uhmm are you done already?" Mark asked as he woke up and saw Logan staring at him

"yes, it seems you love falling asleep without care of the people around you?" Logan asked

" i only do so only when i am with you,i don't know why" Mark replied

"ohhh." Logan shook his head as he smiled inwardly..."do you know why i called you over?" he asked

"No,I'm curious..."Mark replied

"here check this...." Logan said as he handed a piece of paper to him,

"list of schools????" Mark asked confused

"yes! pick a school,you wish to go" Logan told him

"I won't go,don't bother about it" Mark stubbornly said

"what if....."

"there is no 'what if' I'm not going"

"what if,it's one of my conditions to take responsibility of you,remember you said unless you do anything I ask you to,that i will be responsible for you"

Mark slapped himself mentally and cursed his stupid mouth,he sighed and resolved "fine fine" he poured

Logan smirked and slapped Mark's laps gently "that's more like it" he said and smiled

Mark looked at the list of schools in his hand,they were the top popular universities in Country A and it was the rich children that went there," i can't afford any of these schools" Mark said as he looked at the names

"You don't have to worry about the money,for i will take care of everything for you,the only thing you have to do is to study hard,that's all"Logan assured him.

"uhmm....Owens university....i thing i will choose this one" Mark said pointing at the Owens university.

"why that one?" Logan asked as if he didn't know why

"Nothing..it's my choice."Mark simply replied.

"okay fine! tomorrow i will drop you at the school for your registration" Logan said

"uhmmm" Mark shook his head.
