Chapter 29

Kane spent the day conquering goblin tribes. If they did not join his forces he would put them to the fire and flame. By the end of the day, he had amassed a force of over 200 hundred goblins. He would set them up at the camp tomorrow. This is where he will build them a home so they could breed and train.

He would have some trainers help organize them so they would be easier. to control. He would also make them stronger. The breeding would make his forces grow even more. Without the worries of the beasts and groups in the forest, the goblins good breed in peace, and their forces would overflow with little goblin babies. It was a good thing that not only did goblins produce a lot they also would grow quickly. Kane could get his force in the 1000s fast.

Kane sent some people to guard the old Ruby Leopard camp and some others to expand it. He would make many huts and fashion the village to look like goblins so they would feel at home. It would be a lot of work to build for tons of goblins but luckily they were small. Kane also sent some people to gather the women slaves that some of the bandits kept before Kane recruited them. The goblins had a lot of their own females but Kane wanted a constant supply of goblins so he would not have to worry about his cannon fodders numbers. The slaves had lost their minds due to the bandits and would be useful tools for his army. The goblins would be pleased as well. They liked human women even more than their own.

When Kane returned to his castle Alfred had told him that his men had also recruited some other bandits, hunters, and peasants. His forces were growing. He also needs to take some time to upgrade the defense of the kingdom. He wanted to set up some scout towers outside the wall to warn of enemies.

Kane knew that the goblins were already starting to worship him whether it was due to his strength or fear of him. This was good but he needed to get a leader for the goblins to follow. Eventually, they would become a horde and join with other forces like orcs and trolls but he did not have enough of them yet. For now, Kane would send Xugar and his brothers to help manage things. Kane had to kill the goblins shamans and hobgoblins so he wanted to also get some of them in his horde. He would need to get some hobgoblins to breed and some shamans to teach magic. He would have a group work on that. He could summon some for now though. The shamans were more expensive due to the magic so Kane decided to just get 2 male and 2 female hobgoblins to start.

[Summon succesful. 12,000 > 10,800 shop points]

Kane was satisfied for now and sent for Xugar to come and get the hobgoblins and then leave for the camp. It would be home to his new army. His horde. Kane would eventually need to come up with a name for it but he could decide on that later.

Kane was tired and the day have worn him out. He went to bed and fell asleep right away as his head hit his pillow. Dreams of little goblins being born haunted Kane throughout the night. Goblin babies were not that cute after all. Kane woke up and his dreams or in this case nightmares almost made him quit the idea of making a goblin army. But he was not the nurse who had to birth the babies so it was fine. It did not damper his mood as he was excited for his forces to grow and he would not let the dreams take over.

Kane ate breakfast and Alfred reported that his men had set off early in the morning to do his bidding. He still had a lot to do after all. Kane made sure Alfred would push the recruiting more as he hoped to gain more soldiers. He also made sure that if citizens had problems like a broken roof or and elderly need help carrying things his men would help out. He wanted the citizens to like his rule and this would help. He would use kindness to get their loyalty and that would make people fight to protect a home that they did not want to lose.

Kane himself would go to overlook the goblin camps construction and then tomorrow he would go and find some more tribes to recruit. Well if they were able to be recruited. If not he would kill them all. He also wanted to see what other creature tribes he could find and he would also need to see what the scouts would uncover about the kobold camp.

Kane had only just become king but it was already exhausting.
