[Congratulations Host for completing the hidden quest: Order 66 (Kill a battle master) Reward: 2 C-rank battle masters]

[White Sparrow Kingdom now respects you]

[Good job with everything host. We may have lost many souls and be on a different path than the one we started on but I would say the rewards have been well worth it.]

"Indeed Bot. It seems that despite being a long way from our goal we found a new fortune. We can always head to the ratfolk later."

Kane had woken up from his rest and checked the notifications he got from the last battle. The rewards may not be as bountiful as he wanted but they were incredibly useful. Battle masters would make good troops despite the low rank and Kane was excited to get a new battle art.

"Give me the art please," said Kane.

[Yes sir]

The system's signature bright light engulfed the room.

A worn booklet appeared in Kane's hands.

"learn," said Kane before another light shined.

[The Host has now learned the sword battle art: Rogue Whirlwind. Fast and agile this sword art is the perfect thing for taking your enemies out in record time. It's very difficult to counter with its speedy flurry but if your opponent has a strong defense it won't be able to do as much damage.]

"That's perfect! I needed something to help me fight with a sword. It will make things easier in battle. Especially against battle masters. Shame it's only C-rank."

[It may only be C-rank but the host should be pleased to know that it is one exclusive to the system. No one else has this art in this world which makes it harder to deal with battle masters of the same level.]

"Ok, that's better" responded Kane. "All I need is a good sword now."

Kane was getting more and more excited. His strength was rapidly growing. All those Romans' lives were well worth the price.

While thinking to himself Kane realized something.

"Wait! Summon those new battle masters!"

[Yes Sir]

The bright light returned.

"May all your enemies fall to my blades."

"My life is your shield, my lord!"

Two figures were kneeling down in front of Kane.

One was in a crimson hood with a silver mask while the other had crimson crusader armor with silver engravings. The man in armor was 6.5 feet tall and had a shield just as big. He also had a mace hanging on his side. The hooded man had two daggers at his side as well as what seemed to be hidden blades on his arms as well as kunai on a belt. Kane even thought he saw leather sacks that he assumed to be smoke bombs.

"I am Othes of the Night. None will dare plot against you, my lord. I will see your will dispersed throughout the land." said the hooded figure.

"I am Galter the Huge. I will serve you through thick and thin. No one should dare try to harm you!"

Kane was incredibly impressed and joyful at the appearance of these battle masters.

"Welcome, I am glad to have you. May I see your battle arts?"

"Yes sir!"

They both handed leather books to Kane.

Kane was ecstatic! He hoped that they would have their battle arts on them. Now he could learn 2 more.

"BOT can I learn these?"

[Indeed you can. The host is smart for thinking of this. Your enemies will have no idea what hit them.]

[You have now learned: Flight of the hummingbird. With this battle art, your skill with daggers will improve greatly and your overall speed will greatly increase. You can hit your opponent's weak spots easier. It does make you weaker to hits though. I suggest you focus on doing hits when using this battle art. You have also learned: Iron Skin Battle Art. With this, your defense will greatly increase but at a cost of speed.]

"My strength is almost scary now. Will I be able to use all these battle arts at once?"

[Yes but for an extremely short period. You are still new to battle arts and can't last long using them. It will drain you of your energy so you will have to be careful. I suggest using one or two until your skill improves.]

"It's never easy is it?" quipped Kane.

"Either way I am happy with how things went."

Kane was about to give a command to his new battle masters when someone knocked on the door.

"Sir Kane?"

It was the two generals.

Kane tensed up. In his excitement and yearning for battle arts, he forgot that he had just summoned two unknown warriors into his room.

"Sir? What should we do?" asked Galter.

Kane had a feeling the generals could probably sense the battle masters so there was no point in trying to avoid them.

"Come in."

The two Generals walked into the room. Their eyes narrowed and their hands were on the hilts of their weapons.

"Sir Kane, who are these warriors?"

The Generals looked suspicious. They could feel these strangers were battle masters and worried about how they got into Kane's room unnoticed.

"Sorry I should have said they were coming. These are warriors who serve under me. They have come to aid us against the coming storm. I hope you will allow them to fight by your side. I promise they can be trusted."

"Well, then we welcome them. We are glad to have more help against the kingdom of Kokar" said General Bushshivo. The suspicions in his eyes dwindled.

"Are you rested up? We want to prepare our defenses and hope you could help."

"Sure I will meet you guys outside," said Kane.

The generals nodded before leaving the room.

"Let's get ready you two. We have a lot to do as war is on its way" said Kane.

"Yes sir!" said the battle masters.
