“He won’t. We’ll have the boys there to encourage him to say yes. No matter what, Sean should probably be there, as I’m sure the gods will have something to say because of the circumstances. Especially if he’s physically unable to mate at this time. They will probably want to show him this is real and that he has their support.”


“I’m going to do it tonight after dinner.”


“What time do you want us to come?”


“We’ll finish dinner at seven. I’d invite you Alpha, but that would make him more nervous about talking afterward.”


“I understand that. We’ll come at eight. Tell Agnes we’ll have coffee, brandy, and some dessert.”


Kane stood outside Gabriel’s office. He considered the office Gabriel’s inner sanctum and this was the first time he was invited inside. That made him nervous.
